How about reviews for TMNT cartoon section?

I seen on a computer game website, where they have a list of games and you can select "review", and you are given a review template to do you're very own review.

You could do this for TMNT cartoon eps, where you have the Episode List section and you review any of the episodes, and if an episode has reviews, people can read them by clicking "reviews" beside it.

The review template could be to write a passage about it with at least 100 words in it. And then there would be a rating out 5 for the episode.

And if there was more than 1 review for that episode, you could have an average rating.

There's some people who like to do that. It would show a more clearer opinion of what the best quality and worser episodes are, and have a much better presentation than in the forums.

Hmm... I really like this idea, but it's up to Krang if he wants to go through with it. I don't know much about making webpages, but implementing a feature like that might be too time consuming for our busy brain.

Nice idea, but I don't think it would work out. Sorry to say this, but due to all the vulgar guestbook entries I had to delete (and to the cartoon-hating Mirage fanboys on the forums), I don't really trust our visitors here enough to implement a review system that's open to the public. It might work if I tie it in with the user database from the forums, but that could get a little complicated...

Well, if you're ever looking for someone to do some reviews I'll be happy to do it Krang.

It would be OK with me Krang, if you only let people you trust do the reviews.

Sorry, I was a little unclear with my last post. I didn't say that there was anyone that I don't trust with writing reviews, I just meant that I don't trust the general public with having the ability to enter anything they want in a review script without some form of moderation (based on a few disgusting posts that we have gotten in our guestbook, which is also accessible to the public). This is why I suggested that only people who are registered on the forums could post them, but then the coding would get more complicated...

Any chance of it happening then?

Any chance of it happening then?If it does happen, it won't be until after phpBB 2.2 is released, since the database schema will be changing, and there's no point in writing a script now that will be outdated later.
