Hey guys!
Instead of sleeping (like the normal person would--oh wait, I"m not normal...), I happen to visit the official site, and Dan happened to put up the OFFICIAL Themesong for the new cartoon! No, its not that funky song that's been floating out there in lalaland, this is the REAL DEAL!

a remix of teh old song would be teh shizit though. Everyday when someone finds out i like tmnt, they say yea a remix of that song wuold rock..

The new song like everything new sounds pretty strange to my mind. But i think that it's very cool and rhythmical though. We just didn't get used to it. The old song is wonderful as well. But it a new show and a new song should be included. It'll be interesting to watch the cartoon intro with the song.
PS: I suppose you have all heard about 800 hostages that were hold by terrorists-chechens for 60 hours. It all happened here,in Moscow. The man i love was in storm group,he took part in the assault. And you know what,when i tried to calm down( though it was very easy when i realized that they all could die),i watched ninja turtles. But i looked at Shred with some fear especially when i heard the words:Turtles give up or rlse i'll tear you apart. God, i feel so shocked now.

But back to the theme songs. I like both of them, but for some reason, I think the new one makes a better theme song, as where the other was simply a fun song.
I've got the "I love being... I love being... I love being a Turtle!" part stuck in my head!!!

Yeah, I don't like either of them as well.
It's not that hard to come up with a decent tune, the theme from the original show was great, they should have used more electric guitar on the chorus like on the original one.
I was hoping for an instrumental theme tune, why are they bothering with lyrics, just listen to the Batman theme, sweeping and atmospheric.

Hahaha, that rocks. The song has a bit more punch to it then the previous song we were given (that was pretty quiet), and heck, sounds more... well, action-ful (yees) then the original song, even. And I LIKE Shredder's voice in that (assuming it'll be the same voice actor). Sounds like a more pissed-off movie Shred. And there's no problem with that. >>
EDIT: Then again, I liked the red Sky song, so maybe my opinion isn't the best merit. Reh?

Oh my, the new song is HORRENDOUS! Who's idea was that? Yeeeeeeckk! The first one was weak but this one is terrible. But as long as the show is good then I'm okay.

You all want the original theme song... Face it, If you dont like Chnge, you are not going to like the new show. IF what the creators have said, It will be pretty direct adaption from the comics and so nothing like the original cartoon.
Well I admit that this new theme song isn't good. The Fox Boc one, on the other hand was good.

It certainly was just as corny, and they both are pale comparrisions to the original, but this one is okay I guess. I kinda like it. It could grow on me. The other one's singer scared me greatly.

I like the offical theme...but I'd like to hear a re-mix of the old ya know?
*pulls her hand away from Reznorite* As I recall, they did re-mix the original cartoon theme for the last few seasons. It... fell short.

I liked the FoxBox one better, it's more... fun( :-? ). Although, the new theme seems to fit the animation style better--or atleast I think so.

I very much prefer this theme over the foxbox version.
