I agree that a lot of less popular shows seem to be coming to DVD. TMNT was and is still popular and deserves to be released.

No word has been said yet. on tvtome.com for every tv series now says the known dvds for that show and the only one listed for the turtles 80s/90s series is the first season dvd. It would list if it (2nd season dvd) was announced

I really have no idea if or when season 2 is going to be released in DVD.
But if all 10 seasons are released in DVD, I think the big seasons like season 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 shouldn't be released with every episode each.
They should do something like:
releasing the first 7 eps. of season 3.
A month later or two releasing other 7 or 8 eps.
Maybe this is stupid idea. But I think it would sell more.
I mean, people don't like every single ep. from each season.

I would rather them just put the whole seasons on DVD. Season three (47 episode's) Would be like three disc's. Oh and Im not saying your Idea is bad, this is just how I would have it. :wink:

It would have to be more than 3 DVDs. If they put 47 episodes on 3 DVDs the video quality would be very low.

They should do it like this.

Season 2 - 2 disc set, All the episode up to Enter the fly on one disc because they all tie in with baxtor and the little mini - series eps. The rest of the eps. on disc 2.

Season 3 - since its 47 or something like that. Do it by parts. Have season 3 part one on 2 disc's. 10 eps. on each. Then do season 3 part 2 with 3 discs with the remaining 27 eps that works great for 9 eps. a disc

Season 4 - There are 39 eps. Do the same with the part one and 2. 3 discs will have 10 and one will have 9.

Season 5 - 22 eps. 2 disc set with 11 eps on each disc.

Season 6 - 16 eps. 2 disc set with 8 eps on each disc.

I am not sure what season the European ones are in because im going by this eps. guide here so just whereever they go put themt here.

Season 7 - 14 eps. All on one disc.

Season 8, 9, 10 - Make one huge box set with the 3 seasons just because it really didn't do so hot when they originaly aired. This will give it some credibility.

Here's what I'd want...

ALL 10 seasons (or maybe just the remaining nine, either way) in one box set of however many DVDs are necessary. The sides of the box thing that holds them would be made so that it has the overall appearance of the Turtle Van (AKA "Turtle Party Wagon") The cost would probably be high, but for practical marketing reasons I'd think it would be less than buying all the DVDs separate. For a special feature, an included soundtrack including ALL of the music from the cartoon (as in not only the opening/closing themes, but also the music used within the episodes like the "Channel 6 theme", "fight scene theme", "something silly happened", "cliff hanger commercial break", etc.).

(... As practical as this sounds so far, it's not very likely to occur, so I'll just add something far less likely to occur for the heck of it...)

Also included would be SUPER SHOW ACCURATE figures of all ten characters that got figures in the first set (1988).
