Amaran

This band has blown me away. I first heard them last year in the summer. I was downloading music from a Swedish music site that had samples from bands, the bands put them on the site so it was all legal, anyways I downloaded them. I didnt have time to listen to all the tracks I downloaded and I overlooked them. I later,in Setember, listened to all the songs in the I had downloaded to clean out my music folder and get rid of stuff I didnt like. I heard Amaran and loved them! I thought "How could they get any better?"
Well they have 2 CDs out currently. The 2nd CD is so good I cant even use words to descibe it. They have a female singer, who is really good and sings with a angelic voice, and they play metal in the backround. Its not to hardcore but just hardcore enough to keep you happy if your a hardcore metal fan. Now Im going to go as far as to say that if you like Lucuna Coil and Evensence then you will really enjoy this band. And its not just because of the female singer. The music is similar but I honestly think Amaran is better muscially and vocailly

Download some songs and give them a listen. The stuff from their first CD is pretty good but also give the one minute previews from the 2nd CD a listen because those songs are golden and will leave you wanting more. I seem to be talking this band up but I have not heard a band this outstanding in a very very long time
