I was searching Google images in college today and I came across this foreign TMNT logo. I'm not even sure where it's from.... looks kinda Russian :ohwell: I thought it was pretty interesting and I've never seen it before, so I thought I'd let you guys see :)

Funky. I wonder where it's from? It does look kinda like Russian, though, but then again, I don't know a lot about what Russian looks like in the first place. ;P Thanks for sharing it with us, though.

((Hey, that reminds me, I need to track down copies of the theme from other countries (got a little project I'm working on). If anyone can help, let me know.))

Hopefully, whatever language it is, it doesn't say, "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles." :P

It looks Russian

I searched for the logo again and found the site it came from:

Russian Ninja Turtles website. (http://ninjaturtles.ru)

Definetly Russian so. Only problem is, I don't speak it. Can any multi-lingual member let us know if this logo is official or just fan-made? My guess is fan-made.

i used to have a template....with the old toon logo mind u....with word art in word, where i could edit the TMNT thing...i typed in Hero, just MNT, and all sort of other starange things....i may have to find it or make a new one to share....then we could do all sorts of wacky things....

Actually, it says "Turtles Mutants Ninja" - red font states "turtles mutants" and the green sign is for "ninja"". If someone is interested how it sounds in Russian, then the transcription for English should be more or less like this: "tcherepooschki mutantee ninja".

I don't know whether this logo is fan-made or official, but as far as I know, Russians usually convert logos of European and American shows to their cyrilic alphabet, so there's a great possibility it is official.

Nevertheless, it looks hilarious.

Best wishes,

That logo looks unique. I like how it looks so diffenent from the US logo. It looks like it says "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles."

The theme to the original TMNT series in Russian is on this site. It is the funniest thing I have ever heard. I'd probably die if I heard the new theme in Russian.

Yeah - this is fully official logo of Russian version of TMNT - not fan-made.

And Russian theme is so absurd...

You should see the Mexican logo. It's just 'Ninja Turtles'. The word Tortugas is on the top square thing, and the word NINJAS is all big on the bottom where the word 'TURTLES' would be.

Although the show is just called Ninja Turtles (Tortugas Ninjas), the show on certain occasions call them 'Tortugas Ninjas Mutantes Adolescentes' which as you know, if the full TMNT name in spanish.

this here is the french TMNT logo

And this is the french logo used for the old toon:

"Tortues Ninja" litterally means "Ninja Turtles".

Im cracking up cause they keep referring to them as "bugs of nindzya"
go to altavista.com>translate and you can get the site readable..it's not a bad site actually.

In the times of the old cartoon, The French kept referring The TMNT as "Knights of scales".

See, that's exactly what the Mexican logo looks like, except it says 'Las Tortugas' up there instead of Tortues. The way they write 'NINJA' is exactly the same.

Those logos look rad. The Spainish one and the 1987 logo look really unique.
