...o...kay then.
The last thing I bought was Pokemon Diamond, and that was waaay back in July. I've been looking for new games ever since, but I've just been unable to bring myself to buy anything due to the fact we only have either ridiculously popular games, or really unknown games that are just plain bad. I think only yesterday did I see a copy of the second Phoinex Wright game out in EB Games. It's just sickening to look at the pathetic state of the DS games at my local store. It's either Pokemon games, Nintendogs, and (if you are lucky), some Mario games or stuff like Brain Teasers or whatever.
I'll probably try and go searching for games once I knock off school, but I doubt I'll find anything.

So, how about this? I have to send my Wii in for repairs.
I noticed a couple months ago, while playing RE4, that I would get these weird dots on my screen, they'd almost be like a dead pixel. They'd jump around, and pretty much make everything look like total ass. I noticed it a lot more while playing Zak & Wiki, whenever a light colour (like a sky blue or a dull yellow) was displayed, I'd get an insane amount of these annoying little speckles. I still didn't think much of it, and considering both games I'd experienced it in were Capcom games, I figured it must be something to do with that, or at least I convinced myself that was the problem, not wanting to admit something was wrong with my Wii.
I played through Galaxy and noticed it a couple times; not as bad as in the previous two games, for whatever reason. But as I turned my Wii on today to get some more stars, I noticed the dots had now begun to pollute my Wii menu, something which I never even thought about previously. Now when I play a Wii game, the thing throws these annoying dots/pixels all over the place on numerous occasions. What's super weird is that Gamecube and VC titles aren't effected at all.
I looked it up and found that there were indeed other people who have had this problem, and apparently it all stems from the Wii's video card. If anyone has ever felt their Wii after leaving it in standby mode for a while, you'll notice how INSANELY hot it gets. Well, apparently leaving it in standby mode for long amounts of time (such as the nearly 6 month span mine spent in it) will cause the video card to overheat and fry itself, leading to these super annoying pixels.
So, super long story short, my Wii is kinda fried and I've got to send it away to get it fixed. It's not over obtrusive ALL the time, but there's no way in hell I'm playing Brawl with a f*cked up Wii.

Is it still covered by the warranty? Also, what exactly is the standby mode? When you turn it 'off' and the little orange light stays on?

I got it at launch, so if it's got a 1-year warranty, then no. I do have an in-store warranty for the next 3 years, but there's no way in hell I'm bringing it back there and having to wait for months until they actually get some in.
And standby mode is indeed when the light is orange.
Mecha Cow
12-03-2007, 12:29 PM
There's a chance the warranty is 36 months, it couldn't hurt to check anyway.
And how do you turn the Wii 'off' then? Cut the power? Don't want it overheating on me as well.
Peanut

In the options menu you can change it so that Wii Connect 24 is off. That way, you can just turn it off and it will actually be off.

ThirdMarioBro

Just hold the button down Mech. If you press the power button, it goes into standby mode and the light turns orange. If you hold down the power button, it will turn red. That means its off.
Geez, thta sucks man. Thanks for the warning though. I remember noticing the heat problem after I picked up my Wii, I left it in standby one a grand total of one time to get a system update, but when I felt how insanely hot it got overnight, I shut off WiiConnect24 for keeps. It just didn't make any sense because the thing is in standby mode, yet the side was almost three times hotter than it ever gets when the machine is actually running a game (and the fan is on).
I guess the Nintendo hardware teams finally fu*ked up.
Dr. Doom
12-03-2007, 02:35 PM
I had no idea there was any reason NOT to keep it in standby mode. I've been doing that the entire year I've had it.

For the Europeans, Nintendo has shown us some slight kindness at last. Their website has been revamped and you can now use your worthless Stars to buy Wii Points and other nice goodies.
The Stars:Wii Points exchange rate is 4:1, but it's free stuff so who cares.
Peanut

So...you get a single Wii point for every four "star" you have? How many stars do you get per purchase? You do get stars for registering your crap online, right? That sounds like a worthless jip.
Mecha Cow
12-07-2007, 05:57 PM
You get an amount of Stars based on what system the game is for; 200 for DS games and 250 for Wii games. You also get them for other stuff, like site visits. You can then use the Stars to buy stuff, including Wii Points in various quantities.
It's not a jip at all; the stuff is free, why complain?

It's cool that they've finally got this stuff in place but now they force you into using your stars because they make them expire. I had 1750 of mine ready to expire at the end of December so I had to order this:

Yeah, I've looked at the NPD numbers month-by-month, and it seems the games that Japan put up top are always just some mini-game bulls*** that no one cares about. I dunno, maybe it's a cultural thing in Japan to actually like games that are ass while pushing great games to the side (with the exception of the Super Mario games).
No doubt, when No More Heroes hits the U.S., I'll get it on that day!

Galaxy actually didn't tell amazing either, which is totally mind-blowing. Japan is just moving so far towards the casual market in every way. It's like they don't even play console games anymore. It's become more a niche now to play those hardcore games. Everyone there plays with handhelds, or as I've heard in many places, on their cell phones now.
R-iZZy
12-10-2007, 06:06 PM
Are you serious? Cell phone games are a joke! I could probably make better games if I got back into programming. Yeah, I just read the NPD numbers again, I didn't realize Super Mario Galaxy and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess bombed [so far]!
I've heard a lot of people say the Wii isn't even seen as a console, but rather as a gimmicky toy. I try my best to argue against that, but Japan is only proving their point. *shrugs shoulders* Don't really know what to say, but I guess Japan just doesn't take gaming seriously anymore. I don't know when and how this shift happened, but I'm not gonna try to figure it out. Let them enjoy their gimmicky, rainbow-bright games. I just hope Nintendo doesn't consider that demographic as the one to primarily aim for.
Peanut

When they're selling millions upon millions to those people, selling very little to the likes of us, and have to compete with the 360 and PS3 for mind-share where the hardcore are concerned, I think the choice for them is becoming increasingly obvious.
Activision is getting sued (http://blog.wired.com/games/2007/12/activision-sued.html) because the sound sucks in GHIII Wii.

Queen Elizabeth II gets hooked on Wii
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has found herself a new hobby--playing with Prince William's Wii. British red top The People reports that the Queen has become hooked on the console after William brought it round to the royal residence, Sandringham House in Norfolk.
The console was a Christmas gift from his girlfriend Kate Middleton, but when the Queen saw him playing, she apparently had to have a go.
According to a "Palace source," "She played a simple 10-pin bowling game and by all accounts was a natural. It was hilarious. William was in fits of laughter. He was enormously impressed at having such a cool Gran."
However, now the 25-year old Prince may not be able to get his hands on his own Christmas present, as Her Majesty is monopolising the console. The source continues, "His only difficulty now is prising it away from the Queen's clutches. She showed all the signs of becoming a Nintendo addict."

Nintendo Awarded Emmy
Wii and DS rewarded for excellence in engineering creativity.
by Martin Robinson, IGN UK
UK, January 8, 2008 - Nintendo has been turning heads at the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, its current generation hardware interfaces being awarded an Emmy for excellence in engineering creativity.
Control systems for both the Wii and DS have drawn widespread acclaim, and the award was recognition for Nintendo's pioneering work in the field. It's the second year in a row that Nintendo has been heralded at the Technological & Engineering Emmy Awards, having won an award last year for the invention of the D-pad, which laid the groundwork for generations of games, as well as being applied in other fields.
Don James, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of operations, said of the honour, "The pioneering interfaces for Wii and Nintendo DS reflect our long tradition of seeking new ways to enhance the gaming experience for users at every level. We're grateful for this award and thank the academy for honoring us a second time."

Peanut

I'm far from a Star Fox detractor, but I do believe nothing before, or following, Star 64 was worth a damn. HOWEVER, I thought Command was really really good, and I enjoyed every bit of it. I tried to champion it around here, but no one would listen. You should definitely get it.
You've got these semi-tactical decisions to make between battles, drawing courses for your Arwings around the map in order to engage certain things, whether that's a fleet of enemies or a missile headed towards the Great Fox, and it really gives it a nice little touch. The full-range mode levels were always my favourite in SF64, so it makes me super happy that there are a ton of them in Command. The controls are also excellent.
The fact that there are multiple paths and endings (like all the SF games) is really awesome too, and really adds to the re-playability.

I just realized I never really posted my thoughts. Obviously at this point I've decided to keep the game. I understand why some people are put off by the strategy elements, it definitely wasn't quite what I was expecting, but I'm having fun going through all the different storylines and enjoy the various intricacies in how everyone fights. They did a good job of mixing things up between that aspect and the strategy stuff so it doesn't really get stale too quickly. It seems like it was a pretty good purchase for about $16.

You see, I'm the direct opposite. First of all, the all-range stuff was basically the entire game. I don't like that. I like a little corridor action, and some all-range at the end. SF64 nailed that like nothing else before or since. You were constantly going back and forth with a good mixture. Command felt like one long, stringed out boss battle. Also, I couldn't stand the controls. The shooting was good, but the barrel rolls, turning, and precision turning was all sluggish. You are right in that the map was awesome, but the actual core gameplay needed more variety. Aside from that (and less importantly), the characters designs were butt-ugly, and the storyline complete trash, but who is playing a Star Fox game for story anyway? The music was awesome though. Area 6 theme FTW.
I pray that all these Star Fox plugs in Brawl (aside from the fact that Sakurai has always shown a certain love for the franchise) is because Nintendo is pimping the characters for a new Wii game with Nunchuck flight/Remote IR shooting controls. That would be awesome beyond anything.
*edit*
Also, even though the original Star Fox may be good for nothing more than a console gaming technological museum footnote, no installment since has had better music than what Hijime Hirasawa cranked out for that one.

Dude, opening level of Star Fox is easily one of the greatest SNES tunes of ALL F*CKING TIME! I'm so glad it's in Smash, even if it is some crazy Techno version. When I think of that song, I always hear the little character noises along with it "Bu-Bu-Bu-Buwap!" Corneria FTW!

Today, during a GDC presentation, Nintendo's Takashi Aoyama announced a new expansion to Nintendo's Wi-Fi services called Wii Pay & Play. Aoyama explained that Nintendo will begin "collecting fees for some services [that] will allow us to adapt flexibly." In other words, by subsidizing additional, unnamed service and feature costs to consumers, Nintendo feels they can explore new concepts and channels.
He added that it was a Nintendo initiative to avoid misleading consumers into thinking they can buy games that can be played entirely free when they cannot (whether or not this implies an initiative to begin charging for multiplayer content was unclear). To aid in a clear cost presentation, the blue WFC logo will be joined with a similar red logo featuring the line "Pay & Play."
"Thus far", I have not seen any such logo on the Smash Bros. box art thankfully. With such a generally sh*tty online service, Nintendo had better have one hell of an online game with some actual features if they think they can get away with charging people for Wi-Fi play. Either way though, this seems to be a complete turnaround on their "everybody plays together online" PR crap spouted everywhere while the Wii was proving itself. Perhaps to success of the Wii has something to do with this newfound desire to charge online gamers?
This seems to be the GDC of the "big mistake" Microsoft screws XBLA developers by taking their profits and scaring them to WiiWare, and Nintendo screws online gamers with crappy online service, then makes future plans to charge them for it.
Hopefully this means online on the Wii will improve.

So the Mario Kart Wii reviews out coming out of the woodwork. First of all, snaking is dead. Thank God. You get a boost by holding the slide longer, which is how I always drove anyway. Second, the wheel supposedly doesn't suck, but I'm still using the Wavebird. Nothing offers the precision of an analog stick. I refuse to use the classic controller for anything but the Virtual Console. Frankly, I love the SNES button layout, but the Wii Remote being tethered all day gets annoying as hell. I'll switch when they release a truly wireless revision.
Here's the problem though. They've made a fatal inclusion in the online mode. You can now turn the items off during online races. That's going to kill half the game for me. They had to go and turn this into freaking Smash Bros. Now we'll have the tourney kids fleeing into the Mario Kart base demanding items be shut off so the races are "fair".
See, that's the problem. Mario Kart isn't fair. Is the Blue Shell a cheap piece of sh*t? Sure. You get plugged by one at the finish line and you'll be cursing and screaming, but it's so much damn fun. What do you get when you strip the items? Well, I don't know, because there hasn't been a kart racer without items of some sort since the original PlayStation. Items are the soul of Mario Kart, dating all the way back to 1993. The series is bloody worthless without them.
Looks like I'll have to host any matches I play, which sucks because my connection is slow, but thankfully Mario Kart is something that doesn't suffer much from lag. Otherwise, it looks like the game is panning out to be pretty awesome, and that's an honest surprise to me. This smelled of a rush job for a long time.

I don't necessarily hate the idea of giving people options whether they want items or not. Some people have different tastes, but I am hella happy to hear that snaking has been cut off! It basically ruined the online experience with Mario Kart DS for me.

My mind is forever scarred.
Now, on to other matters. Mario Kart Wii is a broken pile of sh*t if this review is to be believed.
…it’s only possible to play in red vs. blue team games; there’s no free-for-all, which to our mind runs contrary to the true spirit of Battle Mode, that of the gleefully ruthless fracas. We were also bitterly disappointed to discover that you can’t race through whole GP championships in multiplayer.
Okay, these accusations are serious. I'll need more sources before I believe that Nintendo would cripple two core fundamentals of the Mario Kart formula (not counting the loss of the hop).
No Grand Prix multiplayer? That's freaking lazy. We've had (at least) split-screen multiplayer Grand-Prix since 1996. Double Dash even offered LAN matches. But if they've crippled the battle mode by taking away free for all--the most basic core element of fun in Mario Kart; I seriously will not even consider purchasing this game. I regretted buying Double Dash because the Battle Mode was such garbage. This isn't Team Fortress. This is Mario Kart. Mario Kart = random chaos. No free for all makes the game completely worthless.

Well, it is free, but as they say, you get what you pay for. I think a lot of us have been spoiled by Xbox Live, so Nintendo's barebones service tends to be a bit of a letdown, especially when you have to play a very precise game like Smash Bros. with a significant delay between button input and actions or severe slowdown every now and then.

If snaking was MKDS's broken element, then the bikes are MKWii's broken element. I've watched a gazillion videos of MKWii in action from Euro players, and the top Time Trial records are all owned by bikes. Their power sliding, grip, and resulting mini-turbo ability infinitely outclasses all the karts by a sobering margin, just like how the Dry Bomber in MKDS made everything else fundamentally worthless. Everybody online uses them as such. This is called "Super Mario Kart", not "Super Mario Bike".
As such, I'll be boycotting the Wi-Fi play (except Funky Stadium, because the bikes actually work in that environment). I don't really feel like losing forever because I'm a fan of four wheels and Nintendo decided to skip balancing the two vehicle types.
It's funny because I never use bikes online but I still always place at least in the top four. Pretty much everyone I've played on WiFi has sucked. I do know what you mean though, the bike's wheelie boost is ridiculous, they tried to make up for it by giving them a smaller turn boost but it just doesn't balance out.
ThirdMarioBro
04-18-2008, 03:00 PM
It almost feels as if they tried to intentionally nerf the karts to get people to go to the bikes since they seem to work better with the waggle control. If they were going to do that, they would have just changed the game's name to "Super Mario Bikes", but then they wouldn't have had the popular brand name to draw people in.

Earthworm Jim, Boogerman, and Clayfighter Coming to VC
by David Oxford | 04/21/08 | 1:58 PM PST
Good news for gamers who were gaming in the 90s, and have fond memories of certain titles who both rose and fell during this time.
Following word that Interplay is interested in reviving some of its old franchises comes their first step towards that end, as the company has announced that they will be bringing not only Earthworm Jim, but also Boogerman and Clayfighter to the Virtual Console.
Though dates are not specific, the word is that the Genesis versions of Boogerman, Clayfighter, Earthworm Jim, and its sequel will arrive sometime "later this year." Interesting that they would pick the Genesis versions over the Super NES ones.
I'm not sure how many would care, but I'm ecstatic. All three of these were sure-fire classics back in the day, but the best part is that they are picking the superior Genesis versions. Sega had a higher cap on cartridge memory, even though the SNES could do more with what it had. The Genesis versions of EWJ and Boogerman were developed first, then ported to SNES with lots of frames removed to make that 4MB memory limit. While I would argue the SNES version of Clay Fighter had better sound on SNES, extra frames are more important in a 2D fighter.
Mark this as another MAJOR win for third party classics migrating to the Virtual Console.

I'm beginning to wonder why I upkeep the friend code section of the board at all.
Anyway, battle mode timed annoys the hell out of me. I get that it helps the online aspect with 12 players running amok, but it will be the death of the game. Eventually online players move on. 2-on-2 offline team matches isn't going to cut it when that happens. 4-player free for all would have, but whatever. Battle Mode isn't broken, but is sure is gimped. The bikes ruin time trial balance, but everything evens out in multiplayer races.
Other than those annoyances, I love it. Awesome Kart, and best one in some time. Lag is non-existent. I haven't seen it one time, even with players all over the world. The framerate drops to a solid 30 FPS to compensate, which is more than suitable for such a situation.

I have to admit that this is my first Mario Kart since the original one so I don't really know how the series has evolved (or hasn't). Without being able to comment on that, I'm really satisfied with it.
My main problem is with the items. There are too many over-powered items that also attack every racer on the track. It doesn't help when they all show up CONSTANTLY either. And why the hell does the blue shell suddenly show up 8 times per f*cking race? The blue shell was always something you'd see every once in awhile, but it was so rare. It's just so annoying to be hit by 7 million attacks every 20 seconds, which is what it seems like is going on.
Last night, my sister got hit by a blue shell, ANOTHER blue shell, a red shell, a blooper, lightning, a pow block and then two more red shells as racers past by her in a span of about 10 seconds. It shoved her back from first place to 11th place on the last lap, with the finish line literally in her sight. That's just ridiculous.
I also really dislike a lot of the new tracks, there are a couple decent ones, but a lot of them are boring. The retro tracks are all terrific, though.
I don't know, maybe it'll grow on me more, but at this point I'm not really digging it all that much. Multi-player is fun, so maybe that'll catch up to me and make me see the game in a different light.

It's pretty lame, you don't have to beat the actual ghosts but a certain time you don't know about. It's usually about five seconds less than the ghost time.

I just got Rosalina, Funky, Mii, Daisy, and Diddy. Don't really care about anybody else, so I'll get them as they come. There's also a Blue Falcon (Yes, that one) Kart. I want that so badly, yet have no clue as to how to unlock it.
As for the Blue Shell thing, I've come to the conclusion that the only way to place 1st consistently in this game is to hang around 3rd place until the last 5th of the final lap. Otherwise you'll just get pounded to meat chunks by Blue Shells--an item that does nothing for the person that fired it except bring the 1st place racer to a similar rank. At the very least, the thing shows up less often than it did in MKDS, though that is hardly saying much. That lightening cloud is also a bitch because there is never anybody to ram and pass it to. Both need to die.
I love most all of the new tracks. I'm also glad they let off on the generic character specific tracks kick. ("Mario Circuit", or "Peach Circuit" or Insert Mascot Character" Circuit). There's a couple (Luigi and Daisy come to mind), but that's it. The rest are all original ideas. Maple Treeway is one of my favorites, and the new Bowser's Castle/Rainbow Road are probably the best in the series.
In other news, I read last week that the Virtual Console got hacked. Now, I'm an honest person and I buy my games legit, but I'm taking anything and everything they don't plan on ever releasing from the vault *coughbanjokazooiecough*.

I don't see why all of the Mario Karts/Tennises/Soccers/So forth don't just become Smash Karts/Tennises/Soccers/So forth. I mean, yes, they sell loads just on Mario alone, but think of how many more would sell if they had Kirby, Pikachu, Samus, Pit and the like. Then again, that would make each of these characters' subsequent appearances in games less special, and the next Smash Bros. game would be that much less important since we had just seen the same combinations of characters over and over for the previous three years... hmm... Maybe just one Smash Kart game or something?

I agree with The S. Turning all the sports and party games into one big Nintendo All Stars franchise makes most sense from a business perspective. I was looking at things from both perspectives. I don't see how you can really be disappointed in it. This is the Wii we're talking about. The fact that they have original DLC at all should be enough of a surprise.
Because what good is downloadable content if it is rubbish? It's like the HyperScan: all of the innovation in the world couldn't save that system from the manure that plopped onto that console.
And Dr. Mario won't be around until the 19th.

Aye. Refresh my memory, though; is this a feature of the Pokéballs exclusive to the anime, or are they present in games such as Coliseum and XD?

You got me there. I didn't play those games.
They aren't really shown when not in use in the games though, so you can't be sure. They are always "enlarged" before the Pokemon are released, and whenever you see the Pokeball they are usually being thrown at something...

Has anyone tried out that Defend Your Castle game on Wiiware? I know how many free versions of that game are out there, but the art style of it looks really cool, and it's only 500 points. I sadly only have 300 at the moment, and refuse to buy points for credit card (for either Wii or 360) so I guess I'll have to hit up an EB this weekend.
Lost Winds also looks pretty cool, anyone try that one?

Lost Winds doesn't feel like a download game at all. It gives off that "full retail release" vibe that most XBLA games lack. It's real quality and fun, the short time it lasts.
Now, on to other news.
http://i26.tinypic.com/2rhr62q.jpg[/
Wario Land: Shake for Wii. It's not known whether or not this baby is retail or Wii Ware, but what we have here is essentially a classic 2D Wario Land title on Wii with 2D graphics, 20 stages, limited WiiMote support (shake it to beat coins out of enemies) and developed by the original team that brought you the unbelieveable Wario Land 4.
I never thought we'd get another one since Wario Ware sells to the casuals, and "Master of Disguise" was farmed out to sh*t studio Suzak. Thank heavens for small surprises.

You may already have the game for the PS2. Maybe. I don't know. But I was replaying a bit of it last night, and it is as epically awesome as I can remember it. If you call it "lame ass" due to the cover and not the game play, then I feel really sorry for you missing out on one of the most underrated and artistic games of the new century.

I don't think he was saying the game is lame due to the cover. It was either the game was just lame, or the Wii version is lame.

In all honesty, I thought the Wii version would have been better, since you could control the brush strokes with more precision than with a PS2 controller. Besides, it's just the same game, only on a different console...

The Wii version is a piece of sh*t. It's called waggle controls for attacking, and the Celestial Brush actually works a lot better on the PS2 version.

The Conduit seemed like an interesting game. But for the most part, Nintendo's conference sucked major balls. Ugh, and whoever that old b**** with the glasses was just annoyed the living s*** out of me. Her cheesy ass grin to her happy-go-lucky tone. I wanted some hardcore Nintendo fan in the audience to just snap and maul her on-stage. Gotta give Nintendo props though, it's a good thing they decided to appeal to soccer moms, since it's soccer moms who attend E3 shows and have enough time to play video games in-between driving their kids to soccer and preparing meals while choosing to escape harsh realities in soap operas rather than Wii games.
Also, WTF is up with the MotionPlus?! Is Nintendo serious? Are they going to create a peripheral that should probably have been incorporated with the Wiimote since the beginning? Are they f***ing serious?! Wow.

Am I the only one finding the recommendation function on the Nintendo Channel, well, not working?
I played Zack & Wiki initially for half an hour. A few days later I downloaded the Nintendo Channel, and it said I had to play for an hour for it to qualify. So I played another half an hour. My playtime equaled one hour exactly, yet, I couldn't recommend it. The next day I played for a little over an hour in one sitting. I was able to recommend it then. Okay, I thought, they don't specify, but it must be an hour in one sitting. Kind of odd, but whatever.
I get Godzilla Unleashed some time later, play it for an hour and eight minutes in one go, and am unable to recommend it. It is only after playing it for another twenty-seven minutes later that day that I am able to recommend it.
Today, I played Bust-A-Move Bash! for 58 minutes. I had previously played it for about half an hour. I was unable to recommend. I fired up the game for another six immediately after finding out I only played 58, and still can't recommend it.
What is up with this?

Isn't it painfully obvious? Nintendo has NO freaking idea what they're doing online. None.
I haven't touched Brawls online mode since the first week I had it, because the matches were just painful. If I wanted a laggy online game, I'd just run some torrents and play WoW.

Okay, what the hell gave you the idea I never played it? I said I don't own it, but I have played it. Of course, the humour would give it an edge to stand out, but by taking away its inventive controls, sticking it in HD like everything else, and shoving it onto consoles that already have tons of action games, it would get lost in the flood. The game actually was originally supposed to be a 360 exclusive, but Goichi Suda decided it would be a better fit on the Wii - which makes sense, given the protagonist's weapon. Perhaps with that 1:1 doohickey (forgive me if I didn't memorize the name), controls will be even better.
My comment that you were the only one that I had encountered to hate the game was an observation, not a criticism. You're allowed to have your opinion, it just struck me as odd is all. My follow-up was me, merely stating my opinion that the game would be less special if the changes I quoted you about were made. For the love of God, can't this forum go one day without somebody blowing things out of proportion?

...or breaking your wrist. Either way, the game sucked. The action was repetitive, yet not fun like a good action game should be. It looked bland, and played bad. The boss battles were glitchy, the AI was terrible, and the city was a waste of time. Even the bike steered like ass.
I admit, the story was honestly funny, but the game wasn't worth playing to see the good stuff. 1/4 of the way through, I just YouTubed the cinemas because the action was too repetitive and giving me carpal tunnel.
