Dylan Cuthbert is one of the two men who created the original Star Fox at Argonaut in 1992. He worked alongside Shiggy's EAD team, and loved the atmosphere of Tokyo so much that he stayed there after Nintendo and Argonaut broke up. He helped design Stunt Race FX, and was the head director of the long lost Star Fox 2 that was canned in 1995.

The point of this? I have landed an interview with him that I want to tie to my upcoming Star Fox Historical Article. This is a man who worked within Nintendo and created a legendary franchise that lived through the N64 generation, went through the Nintendo/Rare cold war, and forged a Nintendo/Namco partnership we will see the fruits of on February 14th.

Put any questions you want to ask him into this thread, and I will relay them to him to be used in the interview. Any question is fine, be it professional or fanboyish. I don't care. Just throw 'em out there. :)

How far along was Star Fox 2?

Is there any possibility of it being finished and released on Gameboy Advance?

I can answer that. I played the final rom all the way to the end credits. All the game lacks is final bug testing. It couldn't run on GBA simply because the FX2 chip ran at 24 Mhz, and the GBA is 21MHz. It'd take a lot of conversion, or a new special chip for the cart.

I'd like to know what he thought of the direction Rare took the franchise in (Assuming he was not involved with it himself) with Starfox Adventures.

Okay, I'm going to do it now. Wish me luck.
