Hans Zimmer is a genius
Mmkay.
I could say the same thing about Howard Shore and his work in the Lord of the rings trilogy. I could also say the same thing for John Williams and his work for the Star Wars saga. I could furthermore say the same thing for Danny Elfman and his work on Batman, Spider-Man, Hulk, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, etc.
But, to each their own.
Wow, good job. Care to elaborate before making a thread with a one sentence post?

Lord of the Rings had some of the best music. And yes Aladdin did have a better sound. But that is my opinion, you can't just say one movie had the best music when everyone has different tastes in music.

Good point. Every musical score is unique in it's own way.

I'd rank the LOTR score as my 2nd favorite. Here are some my favorite scores by composer:
Hans Zimmer- The Lion King, Gladiator, The Last Samurai, Pearl Harbor
James Horner- Titanic, Legends of the Fall, Glory, Braveheart, The Land Before Time, Aliens
Danny Elfman- Batman, Dick Tracy, Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas, Spider-man, Men In Black
John Williams- Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Far and Away, Home Alone, Harry Potter, ET, Jaws
Alan Silvestri- Back to the Future, Van Helsing, The Mummy Returns, Forrest Gump, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Cast Away
Howard Shore- LOTR, Silence of the Lambs, Se7en, Gangs of New York
James Newton Howard- Peter Pan, The Village, Signs, The Fugitive
Jerry Goldsmith- Star Trek, The Mummy, LA Confiedntial, Alien
Gabriel Yared- The English Patient, Cold Mountain, rejected Troy score (better than Horner's)
Basil Poledouris- Conan, Free Willy, Les Miserables

Dick Tracy doesn't get enough appreciation... likewise with the Rocketeer.
