Trust me, you do not want that effect on cooking appliances. It costs money, and you never get to eat anything that doesn't taste like a seasoned rock. Wow, talk about your good timing. Or bad timing...I don't know. At breakfast I tried to heat up a cinnamon roll on a paper plate that had aluminum on it. Not smart. It kinda lit on fire a little. My little brother thought it was hysterical, I'm in trouble for lack of common sense.

However, this gift is truly powerful on possessed appliances. Although being able to cook would be wondrous indeed.

I don't think Spanish is too hard to learn. The sentence structures are similar to English, with a few exceptions (adjectives go after the noun, etc.). Oh, and verb tenses! That might be the only thing that gave me major problems in high school.

He has a very interesting style of teaching that involves not speaking English. It's so confusing. I wish I had taken French instead.

*ahem* Back to the mention of Latin, I think it would be a VERY good language to learn. True, you will probably never, ever use it in conversation, but it's a ROOT LANGUAGE. We use Latin roots and suffixes and prefixes in serveral languages, including English. We took weekly Latin and Greek lessons in English all through high school and it really helped my vocabulary.

And for the record, I took two years in Spanish and have forgotten nearly all of it. :D

Well, most foreign language teachers actually come from the country because it is easier for them to get jobs rather than someone who was learning it in college, except for Latin of course. At least that is how they do it here...

Also, there is no need or use for Latin. True, it does give root words, but when are you actually going to use the root words? You can't really expand your English vocab since English has like the least amount of Latin roots...

At least *I* see the use of Latin. How many times have you come across a new word and had to grab a dictionary? By knowing root words and the like you can make an educated guess at the meaning given the context. And remember the meaning more easily. This comes in handy when reading a good story and you don't want to put it down because you can't figure out what a sentance is saying. For example, we all know aqua means water, and words with "aqua" in them will most likely have something to do with water.

And many other languages evolved from Latin, not just English.

YAY!!! Latin ain't so bad!!! yes due to roman conquest all the Romantic (as in roman) languages came from latin. And not only did languages evolve from it but it is helpful if you want to study languages that it was made out of Like Greekand that can be traced back to Sanskrit which is related to modern Hindi. which are both similar to Russian and the thousands of other languages in Asia and out into Indonesia

Simple, you just go into your profile and down to your signature box. There, you use the picture URL code to add a picture! Of course, the picture needs to be on a site that allows remote linking. Most free site hosts, like geocities, tripod, angelfire, etc, will not let you do this. And just like avatars, it's a good idea to not make them too big, especially the width, it's a bit annoying when it stretches the screen.

And all the bullies would stuff me in my locker and take my mlk money and then since I didn't get milk my esophogus went bad and I had to take medicine but they stole that too and i was so sad....
Then because I didn't fit in they made me leave the school and then my parents locked me in the closet when any visitors came so I wouldn't get out and depress the company, but then one day they forgot to let me out and I had to scavenge for myself, eventually I dug my way out with my teeth and a spoon but then things only got worse...

An everything was so dreary, and grey and I sat all day waiting for my letters and once I got a letter from someone else and I was happy for a little while and it said I had won a million dollars, and when I went to get my prize they took my money which my grandmother had given to me for christmas and beat me up.
