Trailers, for those curious.

When I first saw the screenshots of the gameplay, I wasn't too impressed, but the trailers changed my mind. I really like how the battles look. I haven't heard about it getting a US release though.

Is that gonna be a PS2 exclusive as Jin Kazama will be a character in the game, plus they only seem to have information on PS2 sites.

As a fan of both companies, I've been excited about this game since they announced it. Those trailers are so incredible... I just keep hoping that we'll see a US release.

You guys are aware of the fact that this game is going to be a turn based strategy game, right?

Actually I don't have anything against turn based games, I was just asking.

Yes, and I love those types of games! I'm still playing through Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, and I've had it for months now. There's just something fun about being a demonic overlord with plenty of minions to comand. :D

Namco X Capcom is gonna follow that strategy RPG genre, but from the looks of the battle scenes, I think there's gonna be a bit of the fighting genre mixed in. I can't wait to see how that system works because everything looks incredible on the trailers. I read somewhere that characters from the same videogame will be able to team up and do combos, but it seems like characters from the two companies can also team up. I totally marked out when I saw King (from Namco's Tekken) teaming up with Felicia (from Capcom's Darkstalkers). That was awesome.

Either way Im really surprised they made the turn based combat so high speed. That will keep me on my toes so Im not sitting there decided what move to do for 5 minutes :D
