Who saw the final episode? Thoughts?
I actually thought Jin and Mugen were about to die. I'm glad they didn't. :embarass:
It was definitely a good finale to an awesome series although the show lacked plot at some points. I'll miss it.

Damn, now I couldn't resist reading the spoiler. I'm glad that it's not one of those Hardcore spoilers going "This guy does that and that and that happens"
And damn me for being loyal to AF-subs... They might be slow as hell, but they're rather good, informationwise.

I'm no where near the end yet. It kicks ass though. :D :D

I'm not sure about Kill Bill but they did Cowboy Bebop.
So who's everyone's favourite character? I have to go with Jin. Sure, you find this kind of character in many shows and movies but he was just badass.

I saw it also, and I thought the same thing. There were a few things they could have added to the ending, but I liked it overall. The series itself was excellent and is one of my favorites. :)

I agree, I'd also say Jin is my favorite character.

Has anybody else been watching this show or seen it in the past? It kicks! It's my favorite show on television now. Anyway, wouldn't it rock if they made a TMNT series in this art style and for a mature audience? They could air it on Adult Swim. That would be the shiz-nite. It has an almost Lesean Thomas look to it actually, I wonder if he's involved...

Merged the two threads. Yep, saw it all. Great show. I somehow liked Mugen better than Jin though, since he seems a little more down to earth and... well... more human.
Grim, might I add that your sig is quite large and makes my eye hurt because of all the flashing stuff.

I saw the beginning and the end of the first episode last saturday on Adult Swim. It looked awesome, but it wasn't closed captioned, so I watched somethign else. With television shows, if it's not closed captioned, I can't understand the plot (because unlike movie reviews, which tells you the plot, TV reviews in my experience doens't tell me enough to warrant watching wtihtout the captions.) Pity.. it looked pretty badass.

That's too bad, cuz it's one of those anime's that actually has good dialogue without any of that cheesy crap you get in other shows. Not to start some flame war or bash the show or anything, but a perfect example of my idea of "bad" anime dialogue (i.e. "cheese") would be in an episode I saw of InuYasha in which InuYasha's sword started glowing red and some wolf guy exclaimed (with a look of extreme shock, sweat drops and all), "HIS SWORD! IT'S TURNING RED!!!!" None of that crap.

You mean when a character states the obvious in anime?

I normally hate anime, but I have to say I love this show. Anyways, just wondering if any one here was a fan, or just let me know if it's ever gonna come on again.

We have an ancient thread on this but I'm too lazy to dig it out. Anyway, yeah, it was a great show, good humour, awesome action. It did lack plot at some points but nothing too bad. Jin and Mugen were badass protagonists.
