Lane "Perry White" Smith has died

Perry White actor Lane Smith who played Perry White in "Lois and Clark" in the 1990's has died. He died Monday morning from complications of ALS (Lou Gherig's Disease). He was 69.

Here is the statement Kryptonsite.com received from a family member yesterday:

Hi and thanks for your concern and good wishes and prayers. We are sorry to tell you that my Uncle Lane Smith died earlier today, a blessed relief from his ALS. Thank you so much for your support.

the superman curse? umm he was 69. if he died when he was 29 and actually played superman. then i would say yeah the superman curse, but he played perry white, and died at 69. thats a pretty easy going curse.
