i noticed that you said "One" = ????? have you read that there will be more than one TMNT movie?
Well, official news is that there is a CGI one in the works, we know that. There's also been some reports of a live-action mini-series from Hallmark (I think that's who it was.) I can't find the link, so for now, consider that a rumor.
Heh heh, found it!
http://www.comics2film.com/TMNT.shtml
Go to the 08/31/2001 report:
"A project which was not mentioned by the June announcement is a live-action TV mini-series targeted for the Hallmark Channel. Steve Barron, who directed the original 1990 live-action movie is on board to direct the mini for Hallmark Entertainment. Plans call for a two-night, four-hour program that uses live actors, but casts the Turtles themselves as CGI. If greenlighted, the mini would air after the debut of the cartoon, but before the release of the planned feature. Current target dates are between May 2003 and May 2004.
"The Ninja Turtles miniseries that Hallmark and I are developing will be a darker, more streetwise view of the characters," Barron told the Reporter. "Taking its tone from the original comics, it will be an atmospheric and spectacular reinvention of the franchise using today's CGI technology to leap into the 21st century.""
Cool, no?
Oh, and here's a link to info on the CGI movie:

yes this is all good news but it doesn't say anything about there being more than 1 movie kali. Doesn't matter anyway.
So there's gonnna be a Cartoon series, Mini Live series and the movie. Thats great!.
I hope the turtles don't look like that as they do in the " 7/4/2001" update. The thing i dislike the most about this CGI is that im scared that their going to move away from the TMNT history.
If they make the 4th Movie and base it on the comic(which the first tmnt was pretty much based on). Then there is a chance that they might mess up the TMNT history, what i mean by that is will shredder be in the CGI? and just say he is then won't people start saying "i thought shredder died in the second movie and now hes alive? whats going on?". Thats my major concern. You can't just run away or "forget" the past, they must/should all connect.
Same with the cartoon, what will be shown? will it continue with the red sky seasons? or will it be back to where it used to be before 1994??, or will they make it completly like the comic, so that means Dregg, ratking etc will be gone.
And the end of the day, anything thats coming out to do with the turtles is and always will be good news.
This is Raking O'sewers

back to you krang and shredder

the new tmnt cartoon should be alot darker than the other series. I e-mailed them at the offical website (again...) and they said it will be for a mature audience. the ones who have been fans for years. yu can expect some mid language...
Well, I consider the live action/CGI project to be a made for TV movie, so it's a movie in my eyes.
Do you know how many times they've "messed up" TMNT history? Every version has a slightly different origin and plot, but none of us really complain because they always have the same base elements.
You didn't like the CGI!?! *faints* I've got the clip and I'll tell you, that even though it was rough, it was good. Shredder was in it. I doubt people would be confused. As for "You can't just run away or "forget" the past", what do you think they did to TNM?
And one last note, Ratking, the character, was first introduced in the comic, so he'd probably make an appearance in the comic-based stuff.

i wouldn't worry about te history being screwed up again. Dan Berger said that it should take place for the comics that the other movies where based on. Shadow may also make an appearence. Venus won't... i thought it was a pretty good idea to put in a female turtle... even tugh her lines weren't always the best. Im sure the new movie and cartoon series wll be great. don't mind that the movie is CGI. even though i love the costumes to death, this CGI idea sounds pretty promising. Casey Jones will be in the cartoon series too. Was he on the last cartoons? i don't remember seeing him.
Yeah, Casey was in the cartoon, but not often.
I like the idea of a female Turtle, too, but Peter doesn't 'cause he's scared that it would ruin the whole 'alone in the world' thing. I mean, if he doesn't want that, he can just not have any relationships, they are his characters afterall. I mean, he is in control of them, is he not? Makes me wonder sometimes.
I thought they shoulda made the girl Turtle a villain. There would've been great tension in that plot line.

yea, there would bealot of tenchion (blah, i can't spell). From what I've heard, tere may be a female turtle in te next cartoon eries.... just not Venus. The only thig I'm afraidof is, that what if this cartoon gets canned? Also, Dan erger sia that this cartoon will probably be for a mature audience, as well as something for the kids... I don't know how they can do that, but who knows. Casey is also a main charector on this to. he will be on it often. Shado, maybe.

"i wouldn't worry about te history being screwed up again"
ok so that means that if the CGI thing starts up the shredder won't be in it at all. So who will the villian be?

there won't be a female turtle... tat kinda sux.
Maybe we'll get luckly and they'll have a shapeshifter in one ep. They could shift into a female Turtle and cause a lot of mischief and confusion, then get beaten.

naa its nearly 99% chance that there won't be a female TMNT.
Unless Peter sells the rights, there's a 110% chance of no female Turtle.

well, i heard they're goig to do this test with a bunch of different kids. the show them a cartoon, when its over, they ask if they'de rather see a new tmnt cartoon. If more kids say yes, then it'll pass that test and they'll probably make the cartoon. hopefully they do pass
Yep, all the list members are wondering where this is happening, and if those kids can be bribed.

i know, but its gunna be more serious than the origional anyway. wait.... are you saying they'll be two or something?
One animated series. It's supposed to air on Kid's WB. It's in "focus testing" at the moment, seeing if kids will actually want to watch it.

Perhaps I could offer some encouragement. Friday the 13th part 3 sucked eggs while Friday the 13th part 4 is generally considered the best of the series. So there is always hope!

what the hell does Friday the 13th have to do with the TMNT?..... that is not encouraging
I think they were referring to the fact that a series can make a good movie, even after a crappy sequel.

You've got it Kali! Merely a real-life example that one sequel can suck, while another doesn't.
And well, if you want a connector: Jason wears a hockey mask too.
