View Full Version : NEW NEWS ON TOYS THEY ARE IN DECEMBER!!!!!!!

Howdy gang!

Well, we've been getting a ton of questions regarding the release of the
TMNT toys. It seems that several web sites are already taking orders for the
new Turtle action figures and that they might be shipping before Christmas
(rather than in January, as was originally reported - d'oh!).

Mirage chief Gary Richardson contacted the dudes from Playmates and they
told us:

"Goods will start hitting retail shelves in the second half of December,
with different items hitting at different dates, due to availability. We
are not releasing a general schedule."

So that's the scoop straight from the horse's (turtle's?) mouth... it seems
like some stuff will be out in time for the Holidays, but the where and when
of it is decidedly undecided. Call your local retailers if you're keenly
interested in these, as ya never know when they might show up (or how long
they may last!)

There's prolly more, but those are the two that people have been telling us
about.

actually what i've been hearing is that leonardo is the best looking of the 4. I'm guessing ur fav is raph :P

Noo, actually not.
Of the turtles I'd have to say Leonardo (Likes his leadership style. yeah, kinda).
But otherwise its Shredder and after that I have to switch to Archie for the lovely Ninjara. (I just love her, dont ask me why)

hey guys, i'm new to these boards (but not to TMNT :wink: ). i was just wondering if they will be released in Canada and when. will it be in mid-december like it supposedly will be in the states or will it be later :-?

also when is the new toon supposed to air on fox? on their website it says in the winter but that is rather general, wouldn't you say :roll:

or Mattel . . . i'm collecting the MOTU toys and all they have are a bunch of he-man/skeletor variants and four other figs in each wave. in the cases they have, for example, 4 jungle attack he-mans, 1 mekaneck, and 1 ramman. needless to say that there are alot of jungle attack he-mans out there :roll:

It sounds like not everywhere will be getting them in December. It honestly sounds hit-or-miss to me. :|

Yeah... or the store too. I think I've been to every one in my city looking around for the right LotR and reissed TF figures I seek. And not every one has the same things. Welp... looks like I'll be making the rounds again in a couple weeks!

(Wow.. I should be a pro at toy shopping by the time I have kids!)

I hope the KB Toys near my house will have them... They generally charge less than TRU. And I've also got one of those little discount cards which they stamp every time you make a $25 dollar purchase. It shall come in handy once the second wave of TMNT toys appear on the shelves. :evilgrin:

It would be nice to see the figures released a little sooner but I don't mind waiting till January. I preordered everything from Series 1 from www.entertainmentearth.com. Their release date is set at January 1st. I prefer buying them by the case since I'm guaranteed to complete the set this way and EE guarantees NM-M condition. :D I can't wait to get my hands on those Leo figures! :tgrin:
