I don't know how many of you are aware of TMNT fandom activities, but here are some things you may find interesting.
First, the Second Annual Fan Art Awards, hosted by Amandatello, are being voted on, ending Jan. 31. Vote for me! (You don't really have to if you don't want.)

Yes, ladies, gentlemen, and fellow mutants, I've read the entries for the fanfic challenge, and I have casted my vote. I just want to let you all know that it was a tough decision. There were some awesome fanfics! And I know that several of the members on this forum entered. Even though I can't tell for sure who wrote what story, some of the writing styles seemed very, very familiar. So, if you are one of the members who entered, congrats on writing up some top-notch stories! I would've loved to enter, if I had time. It seemed like a lot of fun! And no, I'm not telling you which story I voted for until after the results are revealed....that is, if you're still interested in my vote. :grin:

And... that explaiuns why Ludwig was having such a cow on the NTML. Still don't think he deserves even third for his scrampy attitde.
Yeah. I like Ria's too, I voted for that one. And now that this has been announced, I can post some more chapters of Midori.

I think a lot of people like stories about when the guys were young. I know i enjoy writing them. That's important for a story: if you love to write it, people will love reading it.
I really liked your story too, Kali. :smile: the next generation of badguys is making its debut. :cool:

Yep, that's why I couldn't put up Midori, because he's in it. I wrote it quickly, using a lot of the exposition I had in the original story. I really didn't expect it to win.
And I instantly recognized HT's story. By topic, if not by style. :wink:

hehe... yeah. I decided to do "cute" this time.
Cute just sells, especially when it comes to preteen TMNT too. :wink:
But you also did a good job too Kali. It was hard to choose, cause I also like Gambler's debt. Then Ria's story popped up!

Great oogly moogly! Yep, I voted for Blade of the Master, too. I just loved that story. I really liked the other fics too, so it was hard to decide. And I guessed correctly when I thought Copper Colored Sun was written by HT. And ya, it was a cute story, I liked it! I couldn't figure out which story was Kali's, but I know now. I really enjoyed The Challenge, too. I'm surprised you focused on Leonardo in that story, since you're such a Raph fan :wink:
*hugs azure* Thanks for the compliment! The reason I wrote about Leo was because I couldn't think of anything else, and this story was basically already written. I think it threw people off, too. And just because I'm a Raph fan doesn't mean I don't like Leo.
Tomorrow I'm putting the story on my site, along with the next chapter of Midori, and some new art.
