I don't think we really need *another* list of friend codes. If we have one for AC:WW seperate from the general WiFi thread, are we going to do that with every WFC DS game? If so, where's the Tony Hawk one o.O?

Bah, I don't really care since the Revolution is coming out anyways. I'll worry about my retro games when that comes out. In the mean time, I had no idea there was a friendcode thread already, maybe I should update with my MKDS code too.

I'm not too worried about the lack of NES games and such. It's pretty much assured the next version will be drowning in them. Perhaps even tied to the emulation system so we can play them with people across the world through the game. You never know.

In the meantime, I have a fishing contest to enter.....and I'm going to trample Nooks's flowers because he annoys me. :evilgrin:

I haven't been able to play nearly enough lately. Tis' the season I suppose.

But so far I have one house upgrade, a bunch of fish, one bug (bee) and Nook's is upgrading for the second time today.

It all depends. Certain rare fish are caught at different times. The rare river fish in the winter is caught around noon I believe. There are just so many different fish I don't even know anymore. I just can't wait until the Colecanth are out. Those were my bread and butter.

Actually I find more of the rarefish around 2-4am but I don't play that late often. I've caught around 3 coelecanths (it's ok when it snows too), 4 tunas, a ton of red snappers, football fish, and sea butterflies, and several stringfish. Gonna save a stringfish for the fishing tourny instead of selling him for 15k.

nope. you just get the set 90 storage slots. no idea if that's between roommates or not though.... so it might be possible to store 360 items.

It's a lot better than the storage system in GCN AC. My basement was full of lockers to store crap. 3 items per locker/dresser/cabinet was a pain in the ass. Besides, you actually NEED more room? :-?

And the storage room is shared between room mates.

Well I got my 2nd upgrade, but still have a bunch of items I don't really want to carry around, I guess I'll just sell em or give them away for more stuff. Speaking of which, I bought something called the HMD at Able Sisters and I have no idea what the heck it's from. I've played many Nintendo games in my day but I don't recognize it, anyone know? I had that in my Able Sister's too, but unfortunately I also had Redd in town. This wouldn't have mattered, but Nook's was closed and I had put all my money towards paying off my debt the night before. I decided to buy the high-end stereo at Redd's for all the money I could scrounge in the village, (rock money, tree money, villager rewards) and left the cool looking visor thing where it was.

I don't think it does anything, like most stuff in the game. It's probably just for show.

Argh. This whole online setup in AC is pissing me off. Yes, it works, but barely.

I still haven't managed to get to someones village, or someone into mine, because there's no real way of knowing exactaly when someone's going to have their gate open.

Anyway, like I proposed in my last post, we need to get a general time frame sort of thing that works for most of us to be able to visit each others villages.

As for me, I can be online with the game from around noon-1, and then again at around 10:45PM-midnight.
Tuesday-Saturday: noon-1 PM, 10:45 PM- midnight (central US time)
Sunday - anytime before 6 (barring my Pokemon tournaments, unless we get a spot with wifi...)
Monday - mostly any time

Lol, I guess it is. I did a quick google on it, and it just turns out to be a Head Mounted Display, so it's nothing Nintendo oriented. Kinda sucks. One day I hope to get a Samus helmet (if it exists :lol: )

Yah had it for a while. I was reading some faq on gamefaqs, and it seems like this AC is somewhat like the various versions of Pokemon... where we can't get every item unless we go on another version of the game. How lame is that?

Not true. You can get everything in your game. It's just that some games might get an excess of modern furniture, while another might get a lot of cabana furniture. You can get everything in your own game, though. It would probably just take awhile.

I played the GCN version almost everyday for well over a year and there was still stuff I hadn't gotten. I'd see a lot of it, in the lottery or in a villagers house, but I never owned it.

Kiosks in Japan are giving people Mario Furniture to those who have copies of ACWW. Funny thing is, is some guy on another board had a ton of these to give away. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get anything.

All those Mario items were made available over the AC website for the original game, but without UC's I don't know how it will work this time through. I think it's a safe guess to say there won't be any kiosk's in North America. I suppose they could do something over wi-fi though.

see, this is ACO's flaw... You have to know when people are online... and you have to know if they're going to have their gates open, or if they're going to come to your village.

I would be on that sucker all the time, if I could connect at home. As it is now, I haven't played my DS online for a few weeks.

Well the thing is, is that if you open your gates, if someone else has their gates open Cooper will let you know that before he opens yours.
