Which video games that company changes or remakes do you hate?

Company now days are chaning or remaking games that they created in the past like what filmmakers do to movies of the past.

There are games that have excellent remakes aka resident evil remake for gamecube.

Then there are the games they shouldn't have touched and left alone.

Can anyone here name any that they shouldn't have touched?

There's a really awesome game for the Playstation called ONE. It's about a guy who wakes up with amnesia and a gun for an arm and is totally po'ed. They should totally remake that, even though the company that made it went bus, if I do recall.

But they shouldn't have touched MGS1. IMHO.

The twin snakes. It was ok.. I kinda liked the new graphics and stuff but the original was better.

As much as I enjoy the Maximo games, I would really love for Arthur and the title "Ghosts and Goblins" to make a come-back.

Not really a remake really but it's something the developers shouldn't have done...SNK-Playmore making King of Fighters games in 3D....this alone was enough to piss me off and then the game sucks. If this new installment is bad i'll give up on SNK.

well King of fighters is really good in 2d. Why fix something if it ain't broken?

Just about every SNES to GBA remake ever done I despise. Also Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls. Removing the challenge from FF1 and FF2 was just a really bad idea.

well I own ff1+2 dos forf gba as well ff4 advance. They did a better job with ff4 than ff1. Final fantasy 1 for the gab is so easy it's not funny.

I haven't played ff2 yet.

Yeah, FF4 is better but they force you to use Dash and you can save anywhere. That is so lame. I also heard about what they did with FF2's level up system which made me laugh so hard. I can't believe you can't have stats go down. That's half the challenge of the game.

I thought the MGS Remake was awesome. They added the new cut scenes and all. Though it didn't need to be made since it was the exact same game it was years ago.

I love Resident Evil and all but I honestly don't see why it needed to be remade twice. Once on Gamecube and now again for the DS. I'll probly buy it but that's not the point. Each time they just keep the same plothole filled story and add some new ploy or puzzles.

Resident Evil 4 did not need to be remade for PS2. It looks like trash on there I did the side by side myself. I still have the game I borrowed it from my friend. It collects much dust.

Viewtiful Joe didn't need to be remade either. It's controls were perfect for Gamecube and rather clunky for PS2. Plus playing as Dante wasn't all that great.

And lastly I don't know if this counts but the TMNT arcade game in TMNT 2 Battle Nexus should have never been done. That was just awful.

Might just be personal opionion, but I basically hated the Tomb Raider sequels...all of them...

I just hate Tomb Raider period. I had the demos for 1-3 and I swear there was no way to not run into walls. This provided much frustration while playing the demo level.

You are wrong there about final fantasy 4.

You can actually turn off auto dash in the config menu. Plus the save anywhere isn't all that.

You can save anywhere but it's called quicksave. to really save, you need to go to a save point. quicksave is only useful if you have to stop. if you turn the game back on and contuine, it will go away.

I actually can't say anything about ff2 becaues I haven't started but I heard you level up by doing things like attacking, casting spells.

Im sure you've all seen whats happened to Sonic!
first he was a cool little blue dude that ran beside the Sega logo and said "SEGA" in that cool voice but now he's been made into a laughing stock, this new one for the PS3 better be decent or he will be dead forever
