Yeah. I've seen the game in action, JameO has it. It's not that bad, but the load times are pretty ridiculous.

It is. It's actually almost exactly like the PS2 version, which is impressive as hell. The load times aren't even so bad once you turn off the entrances.

Yeah, the load times are just sloppiness. The PSP has 2X the RAM as the PS2, so there is no reason why it can't look as good and load as well as the PS2 version. It just needed more work done, but THQ didn't want to put that work into a portable title, not to mention the $$$ to do it.

It's not a fault to the PSP, just THQ's attitude twords it, the DS, and handhelds in general as a secondary market and not putting as much work into it.

Its the opposite to the GTA game on the PSP, its got great load times, and looks better than the PS2 game, but as you've said, there is so crappy load times, but as Peanut said, take entrances off and go through the career for a bit, and it slowly gets better.
