Hello everyone,

Not sure if to post this here or in the video games forum.

Anyway, The TMNT Sprite Ripping Project is a page I will be creating to host animations ripped from the original 1989 Konami ninja turtles arcade game.
It will be a basic page, nothing fancy.

There is a large demand for sprites and this is somthing I have done in the past but never finished. I have however started from scratch (as my other rips had been resized and pixerlated).

My plan is to have every animation and object ripped from the original arcade game, but please keep in mind that these are NOT to be used for a profitable benefit and are solely to be admired and studied at the artistic brilliance that they are.

They will however also be available for those who make fan-games, but while the laws on fan-gaming are iffy, use at you own discretion.

While Konami own the copyrights to these animations/graphics I do however feel that my time in ripping them and piecing them together is to be appriciated, so if you do use these sprites please give me credit as alot of time and effort will have gone into creating the collection.

Now, to keep me interested in this long project, if you could.
Please request certain animations or objects.

I.e Leonardo Sitting down shellshocked

But please, only 1 request per user until your request has been forfilled.
And please, only 1 animation request (not all of a certain character).
You request will be forfilled when I have time to do so, but please your encouragment means alot to me, and will keep me working at it.

I hope you will support my efforts in this project, and will enjoy the outcome.

And to any of those skilled sprite rippers out there, if you can rip every frame and for it to be of a high quality and would like to help out in this project, please PM me.

When the site is up, all helpers will also be listed.

Which type of jump kick, the diagnal kick or the kick you do when you are low to the ground?

I lost the sprite ripping spark for many years.

But the poor TMNT games that Konami bring out now just anger me, and the re-hash of the tmnt arcade games for the nex gen consoles was an insult.

I just hope the spark lasts.

'Same here, bro. Those two ports included with Battle Nexus and Mutant Nightmare were downright offensive. Ugh, absolutely repugnant.

A real shame, too, since the new 3D brawlers are pretty darn good.

I went through the entire game today, snapshoting what I need.
