...That the alt rock band Eleven are now members of QotSA?

I didn't even know about this band, that's why!
I think Alain Johannes was always involved with QotSA and Natasha Shneider contributed backing vocals on You Got A Killer Scene There, Man.

I... I had no idea... I've never really seen any of their videos, so I wouldn't have seen them! I thought for some reason it was mostly guys from Kyuss. Man I suck

I don't think the Eleven guy and gal have ever been in any of their videos. The Queens aren't really a band with fixed members. The only guy who's always there is Josh Homme, the former Kyuss guitar player (and Nick Oliveri till he was permanently fired). It's basically Josh + guest musicians.

That's what I kinda thought. I read a thing saying that they were 'Current" members of the band, and it shocked me. they haven't really been up to much, as far as I knew over the last few years.

I knew that Johannes is their current touring bass/rythm guitar player but that Natasha Shneider is also with them is news to me. Usually they also have Mark Lanegan on tour (I love him) since he did the lead vocals on at least five Queens tracks.

I love how Lanegan is so highly regarded among people like us, yet so unkown to everyone else.

Damn right. It's probably because he never did anything that really appealed to the mainstream. The Screaming Trees weren't hip enough, Mad Season was more of an insider thing, his solo stuff is mostly Blues and his QotSA songs aren't that well known amongst MTV people either.

Well screw em! They're idiots
I don't know, it's just always something that had amused me. Seattle scene/grunge kids love the guy, and he's such an unkown to everyone else.

I just discovered Queens of the Stoneage through playing Guitar Hero. I kinda like their song, "No One Knows".

I suggest you check out their "Songs for the Deaf" album. It's the greatest rock album of the least ten years (IMO). Plus it has Dave Grohl drumming on almost all the tracks!
