Yes I listen to COF, and I have since before they were a little Hot Topic trend. Which saddens me because they turned INTO that trend over time. It showed in their music and their newest DVD.

All this crap with Bam sickened me and getting signed to Roadrunner Records was a frowned upon move in my book. But that aside I got their new album*Yes before it's release, bet you'll never guess how* And I'm actually impressed with it.

Their last releases have not been in the least bit impressive. Damnation And A Day and Nymphetamine were just lacking that COF style. The lead singer usually cycles a band memeber out every few years to keep the music fresh. He hadn't done that in so long that these album really sucked. A few really good songs here and there but not enough to make the whole album good.

But anyways he finially got some new memebers and I'm glad he did. The new album has some fresh feeling to it. For one it's more "metal" then the other ones. It's alot faster to and doesn't have so many slow songs. I like either or but in the dry spell it was like a fresh comeback cause most of the songs on their last two albums were slow. Danni also changed up his vocals a little bit as well which was awesome. They cut back the keyboards and there's more forcus on guitar which is good cause he got a new lead.

So if you like COF I suggest ya get it. If you stopped listening to them after Midian or Bitter Suits because of what I said earlier then I suggest ya get this too. Or if you like metal and want something new to check out go for it. His vocals used to break mirrors but he's toned that down and gone for deeper so that's not much of a problem anymore.

My friend picked me up one of their compilation albums( i think thats what it was )...called Lovecraft and Witchhearts, i believe. It was an ok album, I cant say I ever got too into it but some of the songs were good...some of it just kinda...umm...weird in my opinion. But the fact that he has toned down his vox a little and there is more guitar focus intrigues me...any songs you reccomend from the new album?

For one that CD sucks. The entire 2nd disk is just ugh. I wouldn't judge COF on that. Plus when you listen to a COF album you listen to the WHOLE thing. It continues on and flows really nicely.

Anyways it's probly easier to just check out the whole album so I'll PM you the info.
