Well, it looks like I don't have enough time to put anything together for this Fan Fic Challenge...maybe later.

BTW, and this isn't directed towards any single writer, I've noticed a certain amount of typos/spelling errors in the fics I've read. Being the sort of person I am, I always want to fix stuff like that. Would most writers consider it rude if I were to e-mail and say "Hey, loved the story. BTW, I noticed on page x paragraph y that "there" should probably have been "they're"?

I don't want to accidentally offend anyone. I just have this need to "fix" things. :smile: (Okay, so maybe I have a little Leo anal retentiveness in me.)

BTW, if anyone ever wants a proofreader...I'd be happy to oblige! I know how easy it is to miss things when you're the one who wrote it!

Ooh, I know how that feels, I hate having typos in my stories. You have no idea how many times I go over my stories before I'm satisfied. And I KNOW there are still things I overlooked.

I can read through a story and I'm not really bothered by one or two easily passed over typos, it's the people who don't even run a spell check on their computer who bug me.

Fortunately (or unfortunately) i haven't taken calculus. I'm stuck in Environmental Issues and Botany :sick:
But i do have fun in guitar lessons :grin:

Guitar sounds like fun. I've gone through a couple instruments (piano, clarinet), but I was never really good at playing them. I want to try guitar next, since I've got a lot of friends who know how to play. They've been trying to convince me to take lessons (ugh, peer pressure), so I may consider it during the summer. Are you having a blast with the lessons so far? :smile:

I know, so do I! It's like for all the fics I host on my site, I have to fix the most obvious of their errors (free of charge, sadly) before I put them up.

Then on the flip side... I'm a Horrible Typo Queen, and it takes another's eyes and the computer's grammer/spell checkers to catch what I miss!

But I also believe in being an good critquer, and I'll spill the whole truth about what I see/liked/disliked in a person's fic.

If the author sounds like someone who wants to improve, I lay it on. But they just want someone to say the story's awesome, then I don't bother. :smile:
