Ok, here are my fave TMNT crossovers:
TMNT with Miami Mice and Cerebus(Miami Mice #4) Anyone remember Miami Mice? Man I loved that, along with TMNT, Fish Police, and Radioactive Hampsters back in the day.
The Usagi Yojimbo crossovers...heck Stan Sakai's main ronin rabbit was almost a regular fixture on the TMNT scene!
And finally, TMNT with Savage Dragon...the series that finally started to bring the TMNT back to a cooler edge...I also really dug the Image TMNT action figures.

I definitely enjoyed the Savage Dragon crossover. His girlfriend gets staranded on a leaky waterbed.. what's not to love! And the Turtles look vicious, just the way I like 'em. Not to menion that the Dragon is still one of the most interesting and "real" books out there. While most of Image sold-out or went totally underground, Dragon is still going strong, and taking risks when they need be tooken. ;)
I also liked the Cerebus crossover, as Cerebus is one of my all-time favoite books. Hell, its one of the funniest pieces of literature I've ever read! I'll be sad to see it end (which it's doing soon), but with 300 issues, and a bunch of *huge* 25-issue trade paperbacks, there's lots to love, and look back on.
My least favoite crossover? Flaming Carrot... Dark Horse just doesn't do it for me.. besides the mask, I've never been interested in any of their characters... and even the Mask only works when Jim Carey does it.

Im not a fan of the cross overs that are notpart of the canon. So I don't have Falmiging carrots or Savage dragons. Usagi Yojimb might be worth getting tough.
I hope I can get my hands on the Creed/TMNT crossover, I so like that drawing style.

Yeah I havent been a fan of Image since the mid 90's, but I do remember both those cool TMNT crossovers.
Dark Horse can be cool. They just released what has to be th emost astonishingly visual kick butt comic series ever the other day, Ghost in the Shell 2: Manmachine Interface. They also publish Usagi Yojimbo too.
Karpo, yeah some of those crossovers arent TMNT canon. Usagi Yojimbo certainly is...heck he was practically intergrated in the canon. Its funny, I thought he actually was part of TMNT til I found out its a seperate(but sort of similair style) thing by Stan Sakai.

The flaming carrot didn't sell too well. Wasn't it by mirage.

Well, with a name like Flaming Carrot, what did they expect? ^_^

I think Flaming Carrot is connected to the Mystery Men. I remember reading something like that a while back. Don't have the crossover, though, so I can't be certain.
I liked the Savage Dragon crossover, but the turtles were totally OOC when they appeared in SD #6. Leo made a call to attack SD. Afterwards, the TMNT and SD find out that they're on the same side. Mikey gets angry and starts insulting Leo for making a bad call. Leo returns the insults, and the two have to be seperated by SD. Weird, eh? I'd expect Raph to do something like that to Leo, and I'd expect Leo to be more patient. Oh well... It seemed like Image never really knew what to do with the TMNT.

I know some of you are gonna hate for saying this, but I loved the "TMNT Meet Archie" story. I just wish they had kept going the plot somehow.

Great point, Image never did know what to do with the TMNT. They tried to make them "superheros", which the Mirage characters were never meant to be. Oh, and thanks to context clues I figured out that OOC means out of character :D . Damn I'm quick!

I don't really like the crossovers. It just seems to me that the writers are trying to make a cheap buck by basking in another "superheroes" glory as well.

Thats pretty much what I think too. But the Usagi Cross overs are probably good. What are the issue numbers of those?

Yes, if I remember correctly Flamming Carrot was one of the founding members of the original Mystery Men.
Anyways, I think the Cerebus/TMNT x-over was the best. I haven't read the Usagi Yojimbo ones, though. I liked see Erik Larsen drawing the turtles in Savage Dragon #2, but I thought he had their personalities all wrong.
Also, stop with all the Image-bashing. Jim Valentino has helped turn Image into a kick-booty publisher. I mean come on, they have Savage Dragon, MOTU, G.I. Joe, Paradigm, Venture, Invincible, Firebreather, Leave it to Chance, PVP, Liberty Meadows, and well... I could go on, but I won't.

Well, Image was cool in the early 90's, back when comic books actually sold well. I kind of lost interest when the company split up, the era of the 'bad girls with big boobs and guns' took over, and the last attempt at a TMNT reival(body count, Jim Lee TMNT future look, TNM)
As of late Im much more into Dreamwave(tho they did get their start with Image), Dark Horse(once again after a decade), and Slave Labour Graphics and Oni Press.
