Anyone else spotted these? I was in Woolworths yesterday and spotted these bad boys. They were in the little vending machines that give you a wee plastic ball with a toy inside. I remember when they were called 20p machines. Nowadays its 1!! I was glad I got a Mikey, as Michael is my first name, making it even cooler!!

Is Woolworths a store? I have never heard of it. I wonder if these tags would be anywhere else. I really want some.

There's a Woolworth's on the same block as my office. I actually didn't know they had them in the UK, but I know they used to be widespread in the US many, many years ago.

Yea, there used to be a ton of Woolworths back in the day here in the U.S. but seemingly overnight, they were gone...actually kinda funny to hear that they are doing so well overseas...

Yeah I remember those too!
I also remember the days of cool little prizes in bubbles out of quarter machines. That used to get me so excited in a store haha..wow flashbacks
I wish I could find those cause I would empty that machine and wear them

LOVE the dogtags.

I remember there used to be a Woolworth's in downtown Minneapolis. It was one of those places that you HAD to stop in if you went shopping downtown. We only ever went once a year around Christmas, but for as long as it was there we stopped into Woolworth's.

I went to a Meijers and Wal-Mart tonight and neither had them.

Tookie, do they only have the 4 turtles or do they have people like Casey, April, Splinter and Nightwatcher as well?

I think its just the ones off the leaflet to be honest. I just checked the website on the leaflet, www.discapa.com and if you click on the 'capsules' button, you can find them in there. There's also TMNT digital watches on the site, from the 2k3 series... I can't see how you can buy them, and there's no prices, but it does say 'Do not forget to provide the reference number in your order'. Perhaps just by emailing them?

We used to have a Woolworths where I live in Michigan, but it closed when I was in seventh grade (I'm 28 now). It was a pretty cool store and they always had a nice toy selection.

Those dog tags looks pretty cool, not something I'd expect to see as a TMNT product, but cool nonetheless.

Waay back in the early 80s, me, my gramma and great gramma used to go to Woolworth's; first for lunch cos they had a cool little cafe- i used to get their philly- and then I'd go run off looking at the toys.
I still have, to this day, a Breyer Stablemates horse model, Seabiscuit from 1982 or so. It was like 1.75 back then; made of the original plastic that gave it weight and solidity; today they're $6.00 and made of cheap crap plastic in China.
Seabiscuit is the oldest Breyer I have right now.
But Woolies was a cool store! I never understood why they closed it down.
