RaphRockz

My vote is Chicago

azure turtle
02-18-2002, 08:30 PM
I'd say Los Angeles would be a nice spot. Of course, this has nothing to do with me being in LA

tkukoc2200

hmm at my house maybe?

Kali
02-18-2002, 08:39 PM
Oh yeah, send the Turtles in my direction! Ooh, we may have to up the rating on that one.

RaphRockz
02-18-2002, 08:43 PM
Atlanta would be a cool place since it is reeked with crime. The turtles could clean that place up

azure turtle
02-18-2002, 08:44 PM
I also think it'd be interesting to see the TMNT take a trip to the nation's capital. I'd love to see their reactions while going sight-seeing.

RaphRockz
02-18-2002, 08:47 PM
How about the turtles meeting the president? that would be a classic.

azure turtle
02-18-2002, 08:50 PM
Eh....I think our president would end up choking on another pretzel if he saw four talking, mutated turtles.

Bring em to St. Louis there has been 3 murders here these past couple of weeks!!! CLEAN UP!!!!

azure turtle
02-18-2002, 10:52 PM
I still think Los Angeles would provide an interesting set for a new Turtles movie. After all, Hollywood is just a short drive away

HorseTechie

Chicago, yeah! (cause let's face it, Indianpolis is a bore)

Or... Osaka, Japan (Splinter's homeland)

Hah! I want to see that! The Turtles meet the Shrub!

How about Rio de Janiero? (Sorry, I probably spelled that wrong.) At least for a vacation.

RaphRockz
02-19-2002, 03:01 PM
I'd like to see the turtles in Hawaii or Jamaica for a vacation.

Chicago would also be my vote, or downtown Kansas City. It's a pretty grim place with lots of sewer holes.

RaphRockz
02-19-2002, 05:36 PM
Would San Francisco be a bad place?

coolmike1586
02-19-2002, 05:50 PM
NA golden gate bridge would be awesome

RaphRockz
02-19-2002, 05:51 PM

coolmike1586

that would be awesome

azure turtle
02-19-2002, 11:22 PM
Perhaps the turtles will take a little trip out of NYC in the future. We'll just have to wait and see where they end up

Kali
02-19-2002, 11:25 PM
Well, aside from New York, the Turtles do have the farm house. They haven't spent their entire lives in New York ya know.

azure turtle
02-19-2002, 11:28 PM
This is true. The farm that time forgot  I'm sure they've visited other places, but most of them escape my memory at the moment. They did visit Japan in the anime version of the TMNT. It was pretty cool, even though I can't understand Japanese.

Kali
02-19-2002, 11:31 PM
They did the whole European Tour in the cartoon. And they took some trips in the comics.

azure turtle
02-19-2002, 11:34 PM
Man, I don't remember much of that happening in the cartoon. As for the comics, I only recently started collecting them, so I have no idea where they went in the comics. Woah, did I just use the word "comics" twice in one sentence? Dude, that's just plain weird....
*an awkward period of silence passes*
..........Uh, ya............

Kali
02-19-2002, 11:37 PM
I can't remember half the places they went in the comics either, though I know they went to space. A few times in the Archies. And in Image they went to that other city I can't remember.

Nunchucker
02-20-2002, 03:27 AM
I think they should come over to England and liven the place up a bit. After all it is now safer to walk the streets of New York then live in London. But, I wouldn't know beacuse I haven't been to either place.

*note to self, must expand my boundaries*

Nun.

I was considering that when Bush first sees Randi walk in with his wife that he chokes on his bagel (why make it a Pretzel? You'd think that Shrub Junior would swear off of them... and I still need to get basic info on the presidential family and things... >.< mrrr), and by they way... I'm a HER!

The Turtles are welcome to come to Portland anytime. Can't say I know much about the sewer system, but the way things are around here I doubt 4 green guys would attract too much attention.

azure turtle
02-21-2002, 06:08 PM
Oooh, sounds like fun, Blitzturtle. Good luck with the fanfic, dudette.

BlitzTurtle

if HT can get chapters 4 and 5 up... then, we have to work on 6 and 7....

azure turtle
02-26-2002, 08:48 PM
So many fanfics, so little time! I'm having a hard time remembering all of the ones I'm going to read. Perhaps it's time for me to make a list, so I won't forget....

HorseTechie
02-27-2002, 08:48 AM
Hah... chapters 4 and 5 of MJ are up now.

But yeah, I know yu pain, Azure. I've widdled it down to just reading the good (short) fics, skimming through the maybes, and otherwise not looking at the not interesting's.

Skeletoncrew
02-27-2002, 04:00 PM
Sort of back to the topic...I think the turtles must be here in Portland at the moment. At work yesterday I heard a page for, "Michael D. Angelo to electronics". Hee hee hee

RaphRockz
02-27-2002, 04:01 PM
is anything big happening in portland

Skeletoncrew
02-27-2002, 04:07 PM
Not that I've noticed. But then I've been under the weather for the past week.

RaphRockz
02-27-2002, 04:28 PM
Why dont we send the turtles to investigate the crematory scandal in Georgia, I live about 20 miles from it, and over 300 bodies have been found uncremated.

HorseTechie
02-27-2002, 04:29 PM
uh... why? That sounds more like a job for Ghostbusters!

RaphRockz
02-27-2002, 04:30 PM
true, very true.

Skeletoncrew
02-27-2002, 04:31 PM
No, that sounds like a job for me. Bodies are right up my alley!

RaphRockz
02-27-2002, 04:32 PM
even 300 or more? That have been decaying for 3 years or more?

azure turtle
02-27-2002, 04:36 PM
I think SC just wants to expand her bone collection

HorseTechie
02-27-2002, 04:39 PM
or apply for a job at the morgue! j/k!

Skeletoncrew
02-27-2002, 04:40 PM
Damn! He's on to me!

300+ bodies would be a bit more than I could handle on my own. I guess I'm just fascinated by the whole thing. I bet people will think twice about being cremated now.

RaphRockz
02-27-2002, 04:40 PM
SC could expand her bone collection into millions!!!!

Skeletoncrew
02-27-2002, 05:15 PM
I could make my own ossuary! I could build catacombs! I, I...

RaphRockz
02-27-2002, 07:50 PM
SC could have a hell of a good time working for GBI investigating.

Skeletoncrew
02-28-2002, 12:36 AM
You mean FBI? Personally I think what forensic investigators, coronors, and the like, do is fascinating. Unfortunately I don't think I have the mind for that sort of job, I'm crap at memorizing stuff. I could never remember all of the anatomy, or what certain things would indicate.

Whenever my current job is getting me down I start thinking about how the death care industry might not be that bad...I just need to figure out my niche!

azure turtle
02-28-2002, 01:11 AM
No sweat, SC! You'll eventually find your place in the circle of life. Heck, I'm trying to find my place, too. We've all got something we can share with the rest of the world. Good luck finding it! And of course, this lil' blue turtle will be cheering you on!

start in maine *hinthint* and travel all over the country.

Kali
02-28-2002, 03:18 PM
Yeah, like they did with Europe in the cartoon. Though it's kinda weird that the Turtles happened to be visiting the same city at the exact time Shredder went there. *looks down and falls through the plot hole*

Machias Banshee
02-28-2002, 03:24 PM
dumb luck maybe? I would love to see the guys visit Washington DC, visit florida (joke about when Splinter retires he can go there), see mnt. Rushmore, go to Mardi gras in New Orleans, get chased after in area 51, visit graceland as Elvis impersonators, those kind of things.

Kali

azure turtle

Machias Banshee
02-28-2002, 11:59 PM
cheese from a bakery??

see previous threads...SC wants to get you!

Returning to the topic... Remember the series "Police Academy" (esp. the last episode "Mission in Moscow") and the "Red Heat"? In both movies, American policemen cooperated with Russian "militiamen". What if the Turtles made friends with Russian toons?

OK, if you don't like it, I've got one more silly idea.
What if our heroes found themselves in the real human world (like the one in "Space Jam", "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", "Last Action Hero"...)? :goofygri:

azure turtle
03-17-2002, 11:19 AM
Hey, that's a cool idea, Deskjet! It'd definitely be an interesting movie as all TMNT fans can live the experience of meeting the TMNT through the movie.

He'd try and convince them to help him destroy the Turtles, of course!

But then all the Turtles' fans would come to the rescue.

azure turtle
03-19-2002, 04:15 PM
Hmm...I think Shredder would be quite surprised to meet his fans. No one ever seems to appreciate him in the 'toon version, especially Krang.

Deskjet Shredder
03-21-2002, 05:04 AM
Well, Azure, that's a good question..., the second situation will be described in my fanfic. Unfortunately I haven't got enough time for writing fanfics, so I suppose it won't happen soon.

azure turtle
03-21-2002, 03:03 PM
Awww...well, if you ever get the time, you should write some fanfics. 'Tis a lot of fun! And you've got a lot of potential readers in the Technodrome

Deskjet Shredder
03-22-2002, 06:02 AM
Glad to hear that, Azure! But there are several problems...
1. The "linguistic barrier", as it is called in Russia.
2. Lack of free time (homework and all that stuff).
3. My parents. I suppose all parents are the same: they are too considerate. "Don't work at the computer so long, there's much radiation", "Switch off the comp, you'll spoil your eyes" etc.
4. My impatience. (That should be the first reason  ) I've started the story several times but I don't have enough willpower to finish. So I always leave it and when I open the file next time I don't remember the main idea so I have to rewrite everything...
Sorry. My post is getting too long. If anyone is actually reading this, I'll add that I respect those who have a talent for writing. ^_^/

azure turtle
03-22-2002, 10:18 PM
Bummer, sorry to hear that, Deskjet! Perhaps someday you'll be able to finish a fanfic despite those obstacles.
*gives Deskjet a chocolate chip cookie to make her feel better*
How about joining one of the RPG's going on? Posts aren't very long, and you don't need to rely on just yourself for story ideas. That's one way you could release your creative energy

Deskjet Shredder
03-23-2002, 05:10 AM
What does the abbreviation RPG stand for? Sorry, I have started using Internet quite recently and I haven't learned the terms yet.

Kali
03-23-2002, 11:13 AM
Role Playing Game. It's basically where you pick one or more characters, and play them. You played pretend as a kid, right? Where you'd pretend to be a superhero or ninja turtle and act out a story with your friends. It's just like that, except in story form. You control your character(s), and can't control anybody else's characters. It's fun if you're into that sort of thing.

coolmike1586
03-23-2002, 04:54 PM
Kali that was a beautiufl description of it!

Kali

Deskjet Shredder
03-24-2002, 12:03 PM
Thanks for the explanation, Kali. Frankly speaking, I thought RPG meant something like "PG-Rated".
