This was one of the last TMNT figures I ever bought as a kid but I never saw him in the cartoons. He was always one of my favorite figures. What season was he in and how many episodes was he in? Any information on him would be great

Triceratons were in season 7 in episode "Night of the dark turtle".

I think they also may have had another cartoon appearance... or am I just thinking about Night of the Dark Turtle again...?

I just started wtaching the 10th season, and they have not had another appearance yet.

Isn't that Triceratons figure also Zog, from the Mirage TMNT comic series volume 1?

Yes Zog is in few early Mirage books and Return to New York.
