TMNT Tattoo

I thinking about getting a TMNT tattoo. Does anyone have one? Just asking.

A TMNT tattoo? I don't have any tattoos. I used to have temporary "stick on" TMNT tattoos. Those were fun :grin:

I have a NM Raph temp tattoo. I collect temp tattoos, and I used to wear them all the time!

I don't think I'll ever get a permanent tattoo. I have some kits with tattoo ink...you can just paint them on and they look real!

Ah. Well, that would be cool. I'm thinking of getting Raph. This is a tough decision because even though most tattoos can be removed with lasers, green ink is hard to remove.

I guess my thing is that i always think grandparent types look so ridiculous with tattoos...so I always think, what will this look like when I'm that old?

Of course, there's also the whole health issue...hepatitis is frighteningly common. And it will kill you. I'm not much of a risk taker when it comes to deadly diseases.

Yep, I agree. I don't think I could ever get a real tattoo. I'm pretty happy using temporary tattoos every now and then. Of course, I really don't need a tattoo to add some color to my skin, cuz, well, y'know, I'm BLUE...:grin:

Well, I've already been tattooed. On my ankle, where I know it won't "warp" too much as I get older. I made sure the place had a good reputation, and I saw the guy get the gear out of the sterilizing thing (I used to know the name) and wash his hands, put on gloves, put plastic on everything, sterilize my ankle, get new, sealed needles. The whole sha-bang. I'm a risk taker, but I'm not stupid.

Personally I've never been very big on tattoos or body piercings. Some look great, others just look tasteless or scary. Personally I'd never get a Ninja Turtles tattoo.

I believe in all things in moderation. I like tattoos and piercings, however, I'd never get one on my face, or a big gaudy one.

Yeah, if I ever got a tattoo it would probably either be Celtic style knotwork, or a dragon.

Nope, not for me! I'm happy the way I am. If I were forced to get a tattoo, I would end up getting something dragon-related. I honestly can't think of any other kind of tattoo I would want.

Took me awhile to decide on mine. Personally, I'm worried about getting something TMNT related. I mean, what if, (heaven forbid) I fall out of the fandom again? Would I be able to live with Raphael on my shoulder? That's why I choose something symbolic and general, that I feel I could live with my entire life.

Ya, that's true. Fandom comes and goes like the wind. It often comes back, but sometimes it takes years for that to happen. Well, the choice is yours, Kali. Either way, this blue turtle shall still be your companion :grin:

*raises eyebrow* I'll have you know that I have a rather high tolerance for pain (AND am a bit of a sadist.) Not only will you have the tattoo on a lightly fleshed area, but it will be outlined, then colored, and will probably take two or more sessions. Oh, and you'll need a friend to put the lotion on while it's healing, and no swimming!
