Just as the thread name implies, tell us what you got from the big fat red dude!

So far, all I opened was my aunt's gift. She got me my own star in the galaxy named after me, a snow owl plushie, and $20. She's crazy, but so awesome and thoughtful. More to come tomorrow morning!

So far I can claim an Xbox 360, Mass Effect, Seasons 1 & 2 of Teen Titans, several packegs of socks (I always need socks), a tin of assorted home made cookies and a song written in honor of my birthday.

Yes, well, regardless of how you somehow managed to not think The Transformers film was awful, the point is that I WANTED Teen Titans, whereas I didn't want Transformers, and I got two. I'm talking about the new, live action one, by the way. I'd be ok with getting the 1986 animated one.

I also got 3000 Wii Points. Gotta decide what I'm gonna do with those.

My son gave me DrWHO S3 DVD set and my hubby gave me a shopping spree with 5 well loaded gift cards to my most visited stores. Im gonna go nuts when the sales start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, well, regardless of how you somehow managed to not think The Transformers film was awful

I don't think you and I were watching the same movie. The Transformers movie was excellent. Now, given I have little knowledge of the Transformers universe outside of my vague memory of the cartoon over 15 years ago, I guess I went in there with a clean slate.

12-25-2007, 08:28 AM
Update on the gifts!

Wii
Super Mario Galaxy
Seinfeld Season 8

...yeah, that's all. I have a few more gifts to get from relatives, though.

A tapir! Cool! And yes, I knew what tapirs are beforehand "was a science major in college and used to teach science".

Anyhow, I have already used one of the new gifts- the toothbrush.

Sadly, I will use the cash I got so far (part of it) to pay for next month's parking. I work downtown and park at the garage next to my library. Very expensive, but totally worth it because I do not get wet and can go in and out.
