I'd like your opinions.

Okay, here's what I'm thinking. I've been looking into making an ezboard for my own site, to have a place for our "fun" without choking this board with it. It'd also have a TMNT section, and one for discussing fanworks, and maybe an RP down the line. I'm not trying to compete with the Technodrome here, but we've kinda been taking over this board. We wouldn't leave this board, we'd still talk turtles here, but...

Uh, so, what do ya think?

We could use your board to post our random silliness rather than clogging up the Technodrome's forums. You can count on me being a frequent poster if your message board does come up, Kali. Well, that's my two cents worth :grin:

Thanks for the support. Yes, I feel kinda bad about selfishly using Krang and Shredder's board for our own silliness. I'll try and set up my board tomorrow and Wednesday. I have a lot of time on the computer on Thursdays so I might have it up by then. It won't be as nice as this board, though.

Hrm... breaking away from here has it's pros and cons. But then, that's why there's DALnet, AIM, MSN chat, Yahoo chat for goofin' around chitchat.

Or... see if Krang could set up a section here reserved ONLY for socializing. The only thing I hate is having to bounce around three different sections just to follow all the idle-chit chat threads. Then later coming back and trying to remember which thread it was I posted some off topic conversation in.

In short, just make one section for wild-card discussion, and keep all that in that section (like how we keep the RPG's in its section). Then the other TMNT topics can be left pure/on topic. Sound cool? :grin:

Hey, thanks, Krang! We just thought you'd get angry at us sooner or later for constantly getting off topic (though we try to stay on it! Honest!) or for posting silly, random things. You've done nothing wrong. We weren't going to leave for good, we were just going to post our random insanity on another board. I'm actually honored that you'd want us to keep posting our strangeness at the Technodrome!
I like HorseTechie's idea. I get lost too, trying to remember where a conversation took place. Even better, we should restrict our insanity to the general discussion forum. I'm willing to do any of the above three options. Okay, so what does everyone else think?? What should we do??

I was never trying to replace the Technodrome forums, I'd never be able to! There was a time awhile ago when I said that whenever a thread was going off topic, a new thread should be made. Isn't that the reason General Discussion was made? *sigh* I remember when this place had two boards, that was it.

What we really need is topic splitting so that moderators can split topics at the point that they get off-topic, but that won't be available until I upgrade to phpBB2 (when it's released).
