I don't think so. Personally I'm not sure how this is going to be done, or where its going to be done. I miss out on all the prime chat times around here.

azure turtle
03-09-2002, 02:57 PM
Ya, I don't know how we're gonna do this. I still think it'll be fun either way.

Nunchucker
03-09-2002, 03:02 PM
*Does the yeah Azure is here dance*

*Runs to get thumb screws*

Skeletoncrew
03-09-2002, 03:02 PM
Ha ha hah! We don't know what we're doing, but we're having fun!

Dang, I gotta get ready for work. Have a nice day Azure! Wish I'd gotten to chat!

azure turtle
03-09-2002, 03:10 PM
Bye SC! Take it easy, dudette!
*nervously looks at Nun*
Uh oh.....

Kali
03-09-2002, 03:11 PM
Okay, concerning our story. What I first thought of doing was after writing the first part (which is NOT finished) we'd split up. That way we could each have a story about trying to escape the Technodrome and get to the surface. We'd have to do some communicating, like if you want to interact with other characters, to make sure people aren't in two different places.
Then maybe met up again. Gah, this keeps sounding harder the more I think about it.

Nunchucker
03-09-2002, 03:15 PM
Please stop! My head hurts if I think too much! *Feels writers block creeping up*

azure turtle
03-09-2002, 03:15 PM
 I think that's an awesome idea! That way, each writer can go at his/her pace. Excellent!!

Kali
03-09-2002, 03:20 PM
Yep, that's what I was thinking. I'd start with letting everyone choose a Technodrome bad guy to go after them, then they can ditch them/get captured, as they see fit. And then they can choose a good guy character to met up with. We'd go from there.

Machias Banshee
03-09-2002, 03:24 PM
hmmm... good plotting. I'd like to meet up with either Leo or Mike.

*what can i say, im starting to get a soft spot for the guy*

Nunchucker
03-09-2002, 03:26 PM
Oh  I'll never be any good at this! I can't think of a bad guy and it looks like my good guys been taken.

Machias Banshee
03-09-2002, 03:29 PM
It takes practice. I've never done a round robin or email story, just a lil' RPGing here in the forums. My character is patiently waiting to get back into action, but the way things in the story are going, who knows what'll happen...

azure turtle
03-09-2002, 03:30 PM
Now the only problem is deciding who gets which bad guy and who gets to meet up with which good guy. This is starting to get complicated.

Machias Banshee
03-09-2002, 03:32 PM
and that depends on which universe we're using. the cartoons had Dregg *cringe* Baxter Stockman, Krang, and Shredder, but the Mirage ones didnt have some of them, and the Archie villians are different, as did Image...which one will we do?

Kali
03-09-2002, 03:32 PM
Hey, don't limit yourself to the guys! There's Splinter and April too. Or you could just solo the big city.

Could always send Foot soldiers after you.

Kali
03-09-2002, 03:35 PM
Okay, I'd prefer staying in the universes where the Technodrome exists. That means cartoon, and maybe Archie. We may have to comprimise on characters.

azure turtle
03-09-2002, 03:35 PM
Oh no! I forgot about the various universes!
*slaps forehead*
I'm only familiar with the 'toon and movie universes, since I just started collecting the comics.
*pouts*

Machias Banshee
03-09-2002, 03:41 PM
I'll give up Mike (maybe for Splinter), so that way i dont hog him all to myself.

Skeletoncrew
03-10-2002, 02:45 AM
Well, from what you started Kali it sounds like the cartoon universe to me. Personally I think I'd like to hook up with the bad guys. (Bad girls have more fun?) Maybe if Shredder and his mutants go running after you guys I could get sucked through a few minutes later and end up talking Krang into letting me partner with them.

azure turtle
03-10-2002, 02:04 PM
Ooh, now that'd be interesting! Having one of us join the "bad guys" would be fun! Heh heh.....that means we may get to engage you in battle, SC! I'd probably lose, though...

Machias Banshee
03-10-2002, 02:06 PM
hmmm, me and Leatherhead...? Could prove to be--interesting!

Kali
03-10-2002, 02:10 PM
Leatherhead could be a challenge, as he's not IN the Technodrome. And in Florida as I recall. Aw, heck, why not, if you can make it work.

Machias Banshee
03-10-2002, 02:12 PM
Ravishing Reptiles can get anything done if they set their minds to it.

*about to ask dirty question concerning LH and breeding habits, but will refrain self  *

azure turtle
03-10-2002, 02:13 PM
Woah, calm yourself, Machias!

Machias Banshee
03-10-2002, 02:14 PM
Just kiddin!

*suddenly dissappears in a flash of light.*

*off to get work done

azure turtle
03-10-2002, 02:35 PM
Heh heh! Bye, Machias! Work is never any fun....

Kali
03-10-2002, 02:36 PM
Tell me about it. Anyway, I made a thread in Fanworks for talking about our "project", Of Forums and Turtles, just to let everyone know.

azure turtle
03-10-2002, 02:38 PM
Oh ya! I just saw that, and I put down the first post concerning the project.

Kali
03-10-2002, 02:43 PM
Yep, that way we can keep all the suggestions and stuff in one place.

And since we have no more topic, do you think I should be worried that my temperature is 96.0?

azure turtle
03-10-2002, 02:49 PM
96.0? What's the normal temperature? Is it 97.8?

Kali
03-10-2002, 02:50 PM
Well, for normal humans the average is 98.6.

azure turtle
03-10-2002, 02:52 PM
That's it, 98.6. And what do you mean by normal humans? I think you're fine. It's only about a two degree difference. If you're not feeling well, then you should take some medecine. Otherwise, I don't think there is any need for worry. Then again, I'm not a doctor, just a blue turtle.

Kali
03-10-2002, 02:54 PM
That's just it, I feel fine. That's about what my average temperature always is. Just wondering if it was weird.

azure turtle
03-10-2002, 02:56 PM
Well, 98.6 is just the average temperature. Humans will tend to differ. I've taken my temperature before (while I was well), and I've gotten results anywhere from 97.2 to 98.9. I think it all depends on your body and the thermometer you use.

Kali
03-10-2002, 02:59 PM
Yeah, but I get super low results on several thermometers we have. I'm not really worried.

azure turtle
03-10-2002, 03:00 PM
Ya, you shouldn't worry. I'm sure you're okay.

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 12:41 AM
Hah hah! You're below average! Oh wait, I normally am too. Its no big deal, it just means that you're a Turtleholic.

azure turtle
03-11-2002, 01:12 AM
Hey, I'm a turtleholic too

Kali
03-11-2002, 12:17 PM
Yikes, I like the Turtles so much, I'm becoming cold-blooded!

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 01:33 PM
Speaking of cold-blooded, that would be the major disadvantage of having a TMNT for a boyfriend. Women are generally the ones who feel "cold", so we snuggle with our sweeties to keep us warm. Having a Turtle to snuggle with under the covers might be nice in the summer, but I'm not so sure about the winter!

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 01:35 PM
Im getting weird temperature oriented as well. I like to keep a fan on me in the middle of winter, and i like hot dry days so i can sunbathe.

Kali
03-11-2002, 01:36 PM
I like the cold, it gives me nice shivers.

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 01:40 PM
Not me, I like being warm. Not too hot, just warm. Of course, a hot tub outside on a chilly night is good too.

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 01:40 PM
I can shiver even if its 90 degrees out, and it gives people the creeps.

Kali
03-11-2002, 01:42 PM
Oh, I like warm too, but I perfer cold. Kinda weird for someone who lives in central CA, you'd think I loved warm sunny weather.

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 01:48 PM
Maybe you're tired of it! Of course, at the moment I absolutely love sunny weather...all it does here is rain during the winter!

Kali
03-11-2002, 01:52 PM
I wish it had rained more this winter. We got maybe three good storms this season. There was never a time I got to go out in them.

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 01:53 PM
I wish we got good storms here! I LOVE thunder and lightning. Unfortunately it just plain rains here.

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 01:54 PM
i have a friend here from seattle and she says three to four inches of snow is a lot. Over here in maine, try about three to four feet! I love sledding... *dreamy face*

Kali
03-11-2002, 01:55 PM
*frown* I've never seen real snow. Well, we had some a couple years ago, the kind that melted the second it hit ground.

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 01:57 PM
Its fun til the black ice comes and the power goes out. twenty hours of sitting in front of a fireplace toasting marshmallows...

Kali
03-11-2002, 01:59 PM
Our fireplace doesn't work. *frown* Damn, guess I'd have to read comics by candlelight. (Making sure to keep the comics away from the flames.)

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 02:03 PM
sitting in candlelight with Le- i mean Raph could be muy romantico!

Kali
03-11-2002, 02:07 PM
*raises eyebrow at Machias* Very funny.

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 02:08 PM
 i go type now!

azure turtle
03-11-2002, 03:59 PM
Hey Kali, I'm with you on the cold weather. I love cold weather, and I especially enjoy winter. Weird, since I live in Southern California where winter days can get as hot as 80 degrees and most people love the hot weather. Nope, not me. While everyone's complaining about how cold it is, I'm walkin' around with a big smile on my face

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 04:03 PM
*takes a deep breath*

HI AZURE!!!!!

azure turtle
03-11-2002, 04:11 PM
*stumbles backwards from Machias's loud greeting*

Uh....hi, dudette!

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 04:25 PM
Well, things *kinda* worked out for the better for me, so i'm in a good mood. whats up in your vicinity?

Hey we need a commercial or a shakespeare moment or something... something with yorick and getting grossed out by the skull, so you use a watermelon, but you keep dropping it?
Go to turtle king and get a turtle burger for .99 $?

Well, at least you got out of that class. I'm glad to hear that you're in a good mood  As for me, I've got my first final tomorrow, and I've got some assignments due tomorrow as well. So, I'm not too thrilled right now, but I think I'll be all right. I can't think of any creative comercials, but I'll be glad to post one a little bit later, if you wish.

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 04:41 PM
sounds good. i gave a suggestion or two in my previous post if you get totally lost.

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 04:45 PM
*holding skull*

Alas poor Yorick! I knew him,Horatio. A fellow of infinate jest, of most excellent fancy...

*looks closer at skull*

Opps my bad! This was Roger! He sucked!

*tosses skull away*

azure turtle
03-11-2002, 04:46 PM
 Hey SC, maybe you should join the ongoing soap opera Kali and Machias started?? I think I might insert myself in it, since I can't think of any little comercial blips to do.

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 04:47 PM
I'm afraid my brain is being compressed by the pressure in my head. I really can't think of anything meaningful to add to the soap. I'm not very good at being serious. I'd probably just show up and start hitting on Splinter or something.

azure turtle
03-11-2002, 04:49 PM
LOL!! Woah, that would definitely be weird. Heh heh, it'd be funny to see Splinter's reaction, though. And I wouldn't really know what to do either. Maybe I'd end up as some sort of minor character that appeared every now and then to console whoever's depressed at the moment.

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 04:53 PM
Personally I can't wait for our Round Robin to get going. I want to start being evil! Think Shredder would try to rip my head off if I gave his butt a squeeze? I've always found villians in capes to be rather sexy.

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 04:56 PM
Stupid puter's being gnaddy.

well, read through the story and think of somewhere you cna fit in. or maybe Kali and i could say, "why dont we ask Azure and SC to come over?"

Sorry to disappoint you, SC, but Splinter and Leo are going out to the farmhouse for a little one-on-one time. Leo's NOT in good standing as of right now, and Splinter needs to give him a firm talking-to...

azure turtle
03-11-2002, 04:56 PM
 That would be funny! I'm pretty excited about that round robin fic, too. I wonder which characters I get to work with? I think it'll be fun regardless of who I get.

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 04:59 PM
Yeah, I know. Hmmm...maybe Splinter will want a vacation after he gets back? Sorry, I'm being naughty!

Well, I wouldn't want to get anyone in more trouble...but I'm sure we'd be happy to stop by with pizza and some videos, or something like that!

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 05:01 PM
We'll see what happens. Its up to Kali now...i already posted a while ago, and now its hers or whoever wants to go's turn.

azure turtle
03-11-2002, 05:05 PM
I think I will introduce myself to that little soap opera, Machias! I'll have to come up with something clever, first

Anyway, I've got to get going. Phooey. Alas, much work to be done, there is. Finish homework and study, I must. See ya all later!
*vanishes in a puff of blue smoke*

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 05:06 PM
*coughs on blue smoke*

Good luck with your studies!

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 05:07 PM
*coughs and waves away excessive smoke*

*cough* Bey azure! *cough*

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 05:12 PM
*wipes eyes watering from smoke*

We've got to talk to that boy about his
smoking habit!

Hmmm...I think its about time for me to go. I just realized that I've been talking about hitting on both Splinter and Shredder in the same thread!

Skeletoncrew

Attack of the killer fan! We were just trying to get rid of some of Azure's smoke...but that fan over there seems to be meant for a wind tunnel!

He needs it after all that smoke he left behind! *cough* He's working on stuff for finals and such.

Okay, this is driving me nuts. I just got some stuff on Ebay, and i saw some tmnt comics that mentioned flaming carrots! is this some sort o diss to carrot top or some frightening kinky thing going???

Kali
03-11-2002, 08:57 PM
Nope. Flaming Carrot is comic book. It's based around weird super heroes (a la Mystery Men.) I have part three.

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 09:02 PM
okay, thanks. confused me there for a sec...

Kali
03-11-2002, 09:06 PM
Yeah, me too. I grabbed it when getting a bunch of back issues from a store. I wasn't sure what the hell it was, but I got it anyway for some reason. And I now realize that I missed out on a lot of other ones, especially the Archies.

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 09:08 PM
I love the archies. i think the guys are tall, and even more good looking individuals. Even if Splinter does look like a giant chipmunk.

Kali
03-11-2002, 09:10 PM
I've got two of the collected books, but it's nothing compared to my issue #50. The guys just look HOT in that one.

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 09:16 PM
Hmmmm...Now I want that issue! I only have one collected Archie book, and I only have it because the seller sent me the wrong thing! At this time I'm focusing on getting the 8 image books I'm missing.

Kali
03-11-2002, 09:19 PM
The guys look hot it a lot of the later issues. Once they start branching off from the cartoon more.

Skeletoncrew
03-11-2002, 09:23 PM
Mmmm...sexy turtles...*drool* *quickly wipes drool away hoping nobody noticed*

Kali
03-11-2002, 09:30 PM
Mmmm...very... I need more Archies, now that I know how they're draw. It's almost as good as the nice live action suits.

Machias Banshee
03-11-2002, 09:34 PM
I have five Archie ones, including early years, blindsight, and one of mooneyes, and i have an archie's digest as well, and im gonna be getting more soon.

*hands Sc a mop for her drool*

In the last Archies i read, Splinter and Mike were demutated, but later returned to normal. All i can say is "damn i wanted Splinter all to myself even if i AM only thirteen(i think)! *regains composure* Mike was back to normal, but his mindframe was set back a bunch of years, so he was like a little kid again. The last on i saw, it awas actually S[plinter in human form telling mike the story. Splinter had begun getting furry on the arms again, but he didnt care, cuz all that mattered to him were his turtles.

*looks up at screen* Jeezum, i typed a lot!

I just checked outebay, and if you type Archie, TMNT and click the titles and decs. square, a bunch come up.

I really should look into ebay, but I'm a little cautious about ordering anything over the internet, or even through mail. I'm always surfing there, and I've seen bunches of stuff I wish I could get.

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 02:34 AM
Heh heh, I'd like to buy stuff from ebay more often, but I had a very bad experience with a seller. I'm still quite bitter about it. I just recently got several new comics, so I'm okay for now. I read them earlier to calm myself from destroying my chemistry lab study guide. Yep, it's 1:36 in the morning, I just finished studying, and I wanted to relax before passing out. Whew...:dead:

HorseTechie
03-12-2002, 08:29 AM
ick... don't sprain anything important up there in your head, Azure!

I'll have to admit... I've managed to swear myself off of ebay for a year now. I was really hooked on it for awhile there. (Those bids for TMNT stuff under $10 bucks was sooo tempting!)

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 04:40 PM
Heh heh, I'll try not too, HT!
I'm gonna start using ebay once again, perhaps during my spring quarter. I'll definitely have a somewhat easier schedule next quarter than I do now.
*wipes brow*
Isn't it hot in here? Maybe we should turn the fan on again...

Kali
03-12-2002, 04:47 PM
*looks at azure* Something's not right here...

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 04:49 PM
Huh? What is it? Do you sense some sort of impending doom? :???:

Kali
03-12-2002, 04:51 PM
*glomps azure* There that's better!

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 04:55 PM
Ack! I knew there was something about impending doom....

Kali
03-12-2002, 04:59 PM
I haven't been able to glomp you in awhile. I really needed to get that out of my system. So how's life treating you?

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 05:02 PM
Well, life's been okay so far. I kinda freaked out last night after so much studying. One of my roommates thought I'd gone nuts for sure. Heh heh....I guess he's never seen a stressed out mutant turtle before. I still have a lot of work to do today, so I'll probably end up leaving in a little while. How about you? Is your fever still low??

Kali
03-12-2002, 05:06 PM
Whoa, stressed-out turtle. I'd pay to see that!

I don't know, I haven't taken it in awhile. I'm guessing it still is. My life's been as boring as usual.

Skeletoncrew
03-12-2002, 05:44 PM
HorseTechie, eBay IS dangerous! Especially now that I've discovered the TMNT toy section! I won an auction today for 12 loose figures plus a carrying case. $7.05 plus about $5 shipping and insurance!

So soon I'll have my very own Ace Duck, Casey Jones, Ratking, Splinter, etc! (I gotta check my toy guide to see who a couple of them are...)

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 05:55 PM
Argh, no I'm very tempted to start buying some TMNT merchandise from ebay. I've got all those figs you mentioned, SC, except for Splinter  I don't know why I never got a Splinter fig or an April fig. I think I will give ebay another try.

Heh, you don't have to go very far to see a stressed out turtle, Kali. I'm standing right here, aren't I? Of course, if you'd like to pay me.... And why is life boring as usual? You're not doing anything exciting today?

Well, I'm actually going to have 3 Aprils now! I was goofing around eBay last week and won an auction for two on cards. One with white boots, the other with orange. Now I'll have a loose white boot one too! Lets see...Scumbug, Muckman, Leatherhead, Rocksteady, Gengis Frog, Baxter Stockman, and a Leonardo! Insta-collection!

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 06:08 PM
Wow, that's a lot!! I have a Baxter and a Genghis action fig, but none of the others. Now that I think about it, I have quite a few of the older TMNT action figs. Unfortunately, they're not in very good condition. Lots of paint chips. *sigh* It's the result of them being through so many battles, heh heh.

Well, these look like they're in good shape, but they are missing most of their acessories. I'm afraid it looks like Ace Duck and Baxter are wingless. But they'll still be fun, and the price was right!

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 06:14 PM
Well, as long as the price was worth it. I think my figs may have most of their accessories still intact. I know for sure that my Ace Duck fig still has his wings  I may have broken Leo's swords, though. I distinctly remember throwing one of them away, but I don't remember what happened to the other one.

Skeletoncrew
03-12-2002, 06:22 PM
BTW, I don't remember whether I mentioned it, but I read your story. I really enjoyed what you've got so far!

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 06:57 PM
Many thanks, SC! I hope to write more after finals. I've got so many ideas floating around my mind, just waiting to burst forth on digital paper

.....:dead:.......
*slowly stirs*
Uh.....ow.....hi, Machias! I've read the first chapter of your recently finished fic! I'm loving it so far, but I didn't want to leave you a review without finishing the whole thing. I still have a lot of work to do tonight *shakes angry fist at C++ program he has to finish* but I'm glad you're in a good mood! And next time you decide to drop on me unexpectedly, at least give me some warning

Machias Banshee
03-12-2002, 07:09 PM
Glad to hear you like it. Man, i had a friend who did C++ in HS, and he hated it! You got guts, blue dude! *thumbs up*

Oh and, I'll try to warn you next time. :goofygri:

Kali
03-12-2002, 07:18 PM
Heh heh, I gave you warning, azure. *bats eyelashes* I'm back from my boring real life. I have chocolate, so I'm happy.

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 07:19 PM
Heh heh. Nice to know you dudettes are in a good mood! I don't like C++ very much, but I need to take two classes to fulfill my major requirement. Gah, cursed requirements...

Kali
03-12-2002, 07:26 PM
Gah, I always feel lost when you people start in with the college talk. *continues proofing her evil cliffhanger*

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 07:29 PM
Ooops, sorry, Kali! But you shall eventually join in on our college ramblings, if memory serves me right.
*wonders what kind of cliffhanger Kali is talking about*

Skeletoncrew
03-12-2002, 07:30 PM
Don't feel bad Kali, so do I. Oh well, I have a chocolate brownie to keep me happy. Plus I'm working on the second chapter of my story...

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 07:33 PM
Everyone has chocolate except me....

Skeletoncrew
03-12-2002, 07:34 PM
*plants a brownie covered kiss on Azure's lips*

Now you've got some!

Kali
03-12-2002, 07:34 PM
It's okay, I don't mind really. Go ahead and vent, sounds like you need it. *hands azure chocolate*

And it's the cliffhanger at the end of chapter five of Midori. It's evil.

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 07:36 PM
*blushes crimson*
Uh....not that kind of chocolate, SC!!

And thanks, Kali! Sorry if you've all got to listen to my venting...I try to stay on topic before I vent  Ooh, I can't wait to read more of Midori! I'm really enjoying that story!

*happily takes the piece of chocolate from Kali*
Mmmmm.....
*arches an eyebrow at SC*
Now, don't get any more crazy ideas, dudette..

Crazy ideas are the only kind I get! I thought you knew that by now!

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 07:44 PM
*scratches his head*
Hmm....if you say so. But crazy is good. Everything would be dull if people didn't get crazy every now and then.

Kali
03-12-2002, 07:45 PM
I get crazy ideas too! But I already did my glomping for tonight. I usually put my crazy ideas in fics, as most of my short stories reflect.

Skeletoncrew
03-12-2002, 07:47 PM
So I've noticed.

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 07:50 PM
Heh, heh. I think we all get crazy ideas. Why, I had the craziest idea that I was human the other day. Weird, eh??

Kali
03-12-2002, 07:52 PM
Yep, very weird. Whatever could have given you that idea?

Skeletoncrew
03-12-2002, 07:54 PM
He must be on drugs. Lets send him to the Betty Ford clinic.

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 07:57 PM
I don't know...the idea just popped in my head for some reason.
Betty Ford???? Thanks, but no thanks. I'm not crazy, I tell ya!

Kali
03-12-2002, 08:00 PM
Heh, Betty Ford's a rehab clinic. Maybe you read a fic where the Turtles are human.

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 08:03 PM
Curses, just my luck to be recommended to a rehab clinic. And I haven't read any fics of the turtles being human. I think it was just some sort of random thought.

Kali
03-12-2002, 08:06 PM
Well, as long as it passed, I guess it's okay. The turtles-as-humans stories are kinda interesting. (But I only say that because I wrote one.)

azure turtle
03-12-2002, 08:09 PM
Ah, I see. You've got so many stories, Kali! It's gonna take me a while to read all of them. *le sigh*

Kali
03-12-2002, 08:11 PM
Yeah. I've been writing for more than a year. 25 and counting. 8 of those multi-chaptered.

03-12-2002, 08:18 PM
Thanks Azure! I don't want to have to turn that fan on again.

Skeletoncrew
03-12-2002, 08:34 PM
Oh no you don't! *unplugs fan then cuts cord*

Darn! I'm sleepy. I'm trying to write too...

Kali
03-12-2002, 08:35 PM
Oh, writing when sleeping, could be dangerous. *pours cold water over SC* There? That wake you up?

Skeletoncrew
03-12-2002, 08:45 PM
Nope. I think its the Benadryl I took. This is why I didn't work tonight.

Kali
03-12-2002, 08:48 PM
Ugh, that stuff knocks me out too. But I don't mind as much when I don't have anything to do. It helps me think of fic ideas, but I usually don't have enough strength to lift a pencil.

Skeletoncrew
03-12-2002, 09:06 PM
Yeah, I'm kind of sitting here in a daze...I think I may give up soon and go take a bath. I'd like to take a nap, but I had quite a bit of trouble sleeping last night...I don't want to screw my sleep up any more than it already is.

azure turtle
03-13-2002, 12:45 AM
*quietly sneaks into the thread*
Ooh, it's late, and everyone's asleep!
*snickers*
No one shall suspect me.....
*tip-toes to the Technodrome fridge*
Hmm...let's see. It has to be in here somewhere.
*rummages through the freezer*
Aha! Bingo was the turtle's name-o!
*stares in awe at the pint of rocky road ice cream*
Heh heh heh....mine, all mine!
*runs out of the thread*

Skeletoncrew
03-13-2002, 01:47 AM
I didn't know there was a fridge in here!
*heads over and checks it out*
Ewww! Moldy pizza! When was the last time someone cleaned this thing out?
*starts tossing stuff into garbage can*
I'd better get rid of this before someone decided to use it in a foodfight or something.

Kali
03-13-2002, 10:40 AM
*looks into the fridge as SC's cleaning it out* Hey! Who stole my Rocky Road ice cream?

Skeletoncrew
03-13-2002, 02:33 PM
Don't look at me! I don't really like Rocky Road!

*wipes brow and points to 5 bulging trash bags*

I don't understand. There's more stuff in those bags than there is room in the fridge! And yet there's still stuff in here! There's some sort of anomaly here!

*leans into fridge and emerges holding a marble jar covered in hieroglyphics and topped with a carved baboon head*

Cool! Do you know what this is?!

*doesn't wait for an answer*

Its an Egyptian canopic jar! When they mummified people they'd remove the organs and save some of them in the jars! They put the lungs in the baboon jars.

*pauses*

I wonder if they're still in here?

*starts trying to pry lid off*

Jeez! This thing is worse than a pickle jar!

"Do you know what this is?!"
The crucial piece of evidence we were looking for? The clue which will lead us to the heart of the evil ninja empire?

Do NOT open that in here!!!!

Skeletoncrew
03-13-2002, 02:51 PM
*stops straining to open the lid and looks up at Kali*

Well, maybe the lungs of the evil ninja empire. I haven't cleaned the crisper drawer out yet, maybe the heart is in there!

Kali
03-13-2002, 02:54 PM
*looks at the jar* I swear, if you get that open, I'm so outta here.

HorseTechie
03-13-2002, 03:23 PM
Why not! I mean, not every Egyptian looking jar is gonna plague us with flesh eating bugs and rabid mummies. Of ocurse, unless it's just going to plan turn us into bubbling piles of ooze like in Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark.

*grabs Cyborg Don* He can open it for yah!

azure turtle
03-13-2002, 04:25 PM
Ewwww.....opening such jars will only stink up the joint. And we may get a mummy or two to come after us. I'm not trained to fight ancient mummies, so if that's the case, I'm hiding behind my crate of mangoes

Machias Banshee
03-13-2002, 04:27 PM
There they are!

*runs to crate of mangoes and tries to pick it up*

Ngh!Whys this so heavy! EWWWWWWwwwww One of the mangoes went bad! Its BLUE!!!

azure turtle
03-13-2002, 04:29 PM
What?! That's impossible!
*tastes the blue mango*
Hey, it's still good....

Skeletoncrew
03-13-2002, 04:55 PM
You guys are such wimps!

*shakes jar and listens*

Dang! I can't tell whether there is anything in there or not!

Kali
03-13-2002, 04:55 PM
*peeks in* Has she opened it yet?

*sees azure eating a blue mango* Ewwwwww.....

Actually, the mummy thing reminds me of something that happened when I was watching my brother play EverQuest the other day. Bunches of mummies came out of nowhere and started attacking people. Dozens of them. I wonder if a GM opened one of those jars...

Skeletoncrew
03-13-2002, 05:01 PM
*SC kneels down on the floor squeezing the jar between her thighs and grasping the top with both hands*

Okay. One...two...three!

*POP!*

*the lid comes off in her hands and she falls backwards to the floor, the contents of the jar oozing out onto her stomach*

Kali
03-13-2002, 05:08 PM
Ewwwwwwww......... *backs away from SC*

Skeletoncrew
03-13-2002, 05:13 PM
*sticks finger into the dark goo, sniffs it tenatively, then licks it*

Its okay. Its just grape jelly!

Kali
03-13-2002, 05:15 PM
*blinks* Grape jelly? Ewwwwwwww.....

Who the heck would put jelly in a canopic jar?

Skeletoncrew
03-13-2002, 05:19 PM
I dunno. Got any bread and peanut butter?

Kali
03-13-2002, 05:23 PM
*forages through the fridge* Yeah, here. *hands SC the bread and PB*

*is suddenly pulled into the fridge and the door shuts on her*

Skeletoncrew
03-13-2002, 05:27 PM
*starts mixing peanut butter into the jelly on her stomach when she notices that Kali had disappeared*

Kali? Where did you go?

*notices that the refrigerator door is shut and stands up to investigate. Peanut butter and jelly runs down the front of my pants*

(Crud, I've gotta go get ready for work. See ya later!)

HorseTechie
03-13-2002, 05:29 PM
*shrugs* mebbe they were trying to turn it into wine?

Ohh.. like the Last Supper. This bread is my body, and this... grape jelly is my blood. :eyemouth:

Kali
03-13-2002, 05:29 PM
(Bye!)

*somewhere* Uh, hello? Is anyone there?

HorseTechie
03-13-2002, 05:30 PM
I am still... for the next 15 minutes maybe.

Kali
03-13-2002, 05:32 PM
Okay, then you can try and get me out of the fridge! Oddly, it's not that cold in here, but I found out that the light DOES go off when you close the door.

HorseTechie
03-13-2002, 05:35 PM
*makes like Don* Well, OF COURSE the light goes off when the door is shut. That's why there's a button at the hinge of the door that turns it off so it doesn't run up your electric bill.

*pauses a sec* Ohhh... you need to help out of there!

*runs over and opens up the door of the fridge*

Kali
03-13-2002, 05:37 PM
*falls out of the fridge* Whoa. Um, you don't think Don fixed the fridge using spare parts from the dimensional portal, do you? *eyes the fridge*

HorseTechie
03-13-2002, 06:00 PM
*eyes fridge as well8 I dunno, but it sure does smell wierd...

Kali
03-13-2002, 06:04 PM
Because SC took out five big bags of stuff, and it looked like more than the fridge could hold. Then I get sucked in when I'm getting the peanut butter. I'm tellin' you, there's something weird with that fridge.

HorseTechie
03-13-2002, 06:31 PM
*gasps* I know! It's actually a TIME machine!

azure turtle
03-13-2002, 06:56 PM
Mmmmm.....I do love blue mangoes. Not as good as the rocky road ice cream I had last night.
*quickly covers his mouth, hoping no one heard that*
A time machine, eh? Hope it's not like that weird movie that I'm seeing previews for....

Machias Banshee
03-13-2002, 07:04 PM
Oh man, You WERE the rotten blue mango!!!

Time machines??? I dunno... Hmmm maybe we could go back into time and see the guys when they were younger, or something...

azure turtle
03-13-2002, 07:08 PM
Me?? Nuh uh! I was hiding behind the crate! There's no way that could've been me, otherwise, I would've eaten myself. And that wouldn't be fun at all. So it must've been a blue mango. But mangoes aren't usually blue, even rotten ones. Wait, now I'm confused... :???:

Machias Banshee
03-13-2002, 07:11 PM
I was looking at you and saying "ew, look at that giant mango, it must be rotten cuz its blue!!!"

just kiddin of course...

azure turtle
03-13-2002, 07:11 PM
*crosses his arms*
Hmph!

Machias Banshee
03-13-2002, 07:18 PM

So are you done with midterms yet? Im just taking a quick break from my Indian food speech. I cant wait to get this done and shown to everyone. :dead:

HorseTechie
03-13-2002, 07:24 PM
heh... no joke, this was the fridge time machine I saw on ebay once! Mebbe we can zip ahead a week or so to get this tests and projects out of our hair?

azure turtle
03-13-2002, 07:25 PM
Yep, I'm done with midterms, and I already began finals. *le sigh* I've got so much to do in such a short amount of time. But I'm frustrated at the moment, so I'm taking a tiny break  That Indian food project sounds like fun. I wish I could do something like that.

Machias Banshee
03-13-2002, 07:25 PM

Those darn trees.....

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 12:29 AM
Hey, does anyone here know how to get grape jelly and peanut butter stains out of clothing?

*looks down at messy midriff*

azure turtle
03-14-2002, 12:49 AM
*stares at Skeletoncrew's mess*
Hmm....looks like laundry day is here early for you. You should've never opened that jar

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 03:57 AM
*slightly whiney voice*
I didn't know there was grape jelly in it! I thought it would be someone's lungs!

*strips down to black bra and panties*

Nevermind, I'll just burn this stuff.

HorseTechie
03-14-2002, 10:34 AM
Or... point to the time machine refridgerator, go back in time before you opened the jar, SC. But *ahem* it looks like you rather burn the clothes. :goofygri:

Kali
03-14-2002, 12:05 PM
*looks around the back of the fridge* I wonder how this thing works.

azure turtle
03-14-2002, 12:06 PM
*stares at SC*
H-hey! What're you doing??

Kali
03-14-2002, 12:11 PM
Oh, hi azure! Can you help me? *sees azure staring at SC* Oh, I see you're busy, nevermind then. *disappears behind the fridge*

Machias Banshee
03-14-2002, 02:01 PM
*looks around confusedly*

Why is SC getting half-naked in front of Azure and grape jelly in that weird jar?

man, you dont come for a while, you miss a lot...

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 02:55 PM
Don't look at me! I'm not the one who put that grape jelly in the jar! I just took it out.

*looks over at azure*

What are you staring at? Hellooo? Earth to Azure!

*gives up and turns around, bends over metal waste basket and drops clothing in. Pats self where pockets would be if my pants were still on*

Hey! Anybody got a light?

Kali
03-14-2002, 03:01 PM
*hands SC a TMNT lighter* Here ya go.

*waves hand in front of azure* Whoa, he's really out of it.

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 03:06 PM
Thanks Kali!

*bends over a little farther and wiggles butt for Azure's benefit*

Hee hee hee

*holds the flame to a corner of the clothing*

FOOM!

*Jumps back, knocking Azure to the ground and landing in his lap*

Wow. I didn't realize that ancient grape jelly was flammable.

Kali
03-14-2002, 03:11 PM
Geez. And you ate that stuff!

(OT: I updated my site again!)

Machias Banshee
03-14-2002, 04:13 PM
*scream*

ITS ME!!!!!!

Its perfect!!!

Thanks Kali!!!! *jumps excitedly*

*suddenly smells smoke*
who's burning clothing?

I played around with the doll a bit and was able to make my raptor form, but i dont know how to show it.

Oh, goddie!!! :goofygri:

HorseTechie
03-14-2002, 05:56 PM
how to put it in a forum post, you mean? Or how to put it on a website?

To put it in the post, you need to have it on someone's website. Hrmm.. you want me to put it as your Author av in the Archive?

If you want me to host it on the Archive site, then you can use the BBcode to link the url in a post here.

Excellent.

So when do we get to see you in your raptor form?? I'm curious as to how you'll look

Glad you liked the doll, Machias, I don't mind at all that you tweaked it. I wanna see it too!

*is sadly still awake*
I'm taking a nice little study break. My first final is this Saturday, and my next one is on Sunday!! Can you believe that? It's unfair! I've got finals the weekend before finals week!
*weeps*

But! I shall not let that get the best of me.
*goes to the Technodrome fridge/time machine*
Hey, are there any mango lassies in here??

Machias Banshee
03-14-2002, 10:28 PM
Yup, in the back section!

Kali, start cheking your email, you'll be getting a lil' surprise. ;D

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 10:30 PM

(BTW, I'm glad I was able to give you a good laugh today!!!)

Hmm....
*hears SC's proposal*
What?!

*laughs hysterically*

Kali
03-14-2002, 10:34 PM
*eyes azure* Been using that turtle wax again, azure?

BTW, I loved the doll, Machias, it looks so cool!

Machias Banshee
03-14-2002, 10:35 PM
Not really!
*blender, yogurt, mango slices and Ice suddenly appear. Prepares lassies with expertise and shouts at timmy to get the hell away fro mthe darn well. finished, she hands a refreshing mango lassie (dog-free) to SC.And then deftly shoves handful of ice down the back of Azure's shell*

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 10:37 PM
Hmmmm...
*tries another tactic*

Okay Azure, I'll take the last of my clothes off if you'll pour me a mango lassie!

azure turtle
03-14-2002, 10:38 PM
Nope, I haven't been using your turtle wax, Kali. Uh uh.
*suddenly feels cold*
Wait....I know I'm cold blooded, but such drastic changes in temperature aren't supposed to happen this time of year...
*yelps as he discovers the ice*
That's COLD!!
*jumps around and falls into the fridge*
Ack!! Help! I'm trapped between the cabbage and the pears!

Kali
03-14-2002, 10:39 PM
Yikes, get him out, it's not fun in there. I know. *pulls the door, but it's stuck*

Machias Banshee
03-14-2002, 10:40 PM
heh, he looks like a giant rotten blue mango!

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 10:41 PM
Thanks Machias! (And I didn't even have to take anything off to get it!)

Here. Let me get the door.

*prys door open with a crowbar*

Hmmmm...Azure looks a little more blue than usual!

*gets all Splintery*

*wraps blanket around Azure and pulls him out of the fridge.*

You need something warm in you. I'll make some soup and tea for you.

azure turtle
03-14-2002, 10:46 PM
*pops out of the fridge, shivering, frowning, and carrying a bag of veggies*

I am not rotten!
*frowns, as he opens the bag*
Ooh, asparagus!
*munches happily*
And thanks for getting me out, dudette!

((Oy, and thanks for the laugh!! I really needed that earlier. Your fic is too funny!))

azure turtle
03-14-2002, 10:47 PM
*stops munching*
Soup and tea?? TEA??
*shakes his head*
No, no tea!! Thanks, but no thanks!
*whimpers*

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 10:49 PM
I don't blame you for passing on the tea! How about hot cocoa? I promise not to put anything in it that doesn't belong there!

*opens cuboard and finds a pile of clothing*

Hey! This is in my size! Whoo-hoo I can get dressed!

Machias Banshee
03-14-2002, 10:50 PM
No, its normal tea! Chicken noodle soup?

Um whose fic is it youre talkin' about anyway?

Oh, dont whimper, little one...y9ou make me feel bad

Soup and hot cocoa...hmm, worth a try!

Ah, the fic I speak of was SC's. I read her fic earlier today when I was really depressed from all of my studying, and it made me laugh. Roommates thought I finally snapped...heh, heh. I'll need to use some Roommate Be Gone very soon.

Oh, and did you check the reviews for Feelings of Guilt?? I read it earlier, and I loved it!

Machias Banshee
03-14-2002, 10:55 PM
Thanks, i did. Im glad everyone liked it. Now people are asking for more stories! I am starting to run out of ideas! Ack!

Kali
03-14-2002, 10:56 PM
Hey, that means they like your stuff if they wanna see more. Another clue is if they call you evil because you wrote a cliffhanger.

azure turtle
03-14-2002, 10:58 PM
*snickers*
Yup, I can't wait for more stories too! And the way you described the dogs actions....ooh, it sent goosebumps all over the place.
*shudders at the idea of a dog chasing after him*

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 10:58 PM
Heee hee hee...If its any consolation Machias, I'm getting nervous about mine...I only have so much more of it planned out.

*Puts clothing on and make a big pan of hot cocoa*

azure turtle
03-14-2002, 10:59 PM
*pouts*
I wish I could continue with my fic...I've got big plans that must be carried out.
*shakes angry fist at finals*

thanks guys...

Im SO happy the dog came across as the raptors from JP. I was hoing to get that effect.

I was trying to think of Splinter's fears. Ive done Mike and Don, Kali did Leo, and raph's fear of needles is difficult unless i have a short little stint about Vaccination times in the Hamato household in the sewers...Having Raph get a vaccine in the butt is kinda odd tho...

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 11:03 PM
They'll be over soon, then you'll be free to do as you wish! (At least, for a little while.)

I think its about time for me to go...I want to write some more of my story...

Machias Banshee
03-14-2002, 11:04 PM
And we wanna see it updated... NOW!!!! No pressure tho...

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 11:06 PM
Hee hee hee...I feel so wanted! *blush*

Kali
03-14-2002, 11:08 PM
Ah, leave 'em hanging for awhile. That's what I'm doing. It's absolutely not because I have nothing else written. No siree.
