Ah, damn, sounds like mine!!!
LOL! Weird. *looks around, wondering what the others are going to think about this conversation*
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 11:42 AM
I dunno...
Well, it wasnt raunchy, but it involved a certain 'procedure' that i had the displeasure of experiencing not too long ago...kida deathly embarassing, especially with Splinter in the role he was in...

Awww, poor you. Mine was comprised of questionable disciplinary actions. -_-;;

oH really?????
Ack. *sweatdrop* Heh heh.
Machias Banshee

I take it its not the usual type of discipline he gives out....you dont have to say anything, nudge nudge, wink wink.
*clears throat* Uh huh. I doubt he ever punished his sons like that. And he never did tell me exactly what I was doing wrong.
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 12:06 PM
WTH?! This is getting strangely fascinating...what the heck's wrong with me?

Heh heh. It started out fine enough. I was doing katas, and he was watching, then he told me I was doing it wrong, and I'd have to do it again. I swore I was doing it right, but I did it again anyway. He kept insisting that I was doing it wrong and I finally snapped at him. *pout* Then he hit me with his walking stick.
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 12:29 PM
He gives a lil' tap once in a while...he walloped you pretty good, i take it?
Well, yeah, but that wasn't the end of the dream. I ended the discription there for a reason. He was really OOC after that.
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 12:44 PM
woah, point taken.
*tries to stop gutter mind from going down drain*
Shoot, too late!
LOL! I think it was during the time I was taking the cold medicine, but I'm not sure. Weirded me out though.

Hi! You didn't have to glomp me, y'know...aw shucks, now I lost my mango....
*looks around*
*hands Azure his mango* How you doing?
Machias Banshee

Damn, why don't I get any kinky TMNT dreams?
*pouts*

I'm all right....a little tired. I was up late doing a paper (which still isn't finished and due tomorrow...bah). Oh well. I'll get it done sooner or later.
*takes a mango from Kali*
Hmm....this isn't the one I was eating earlier.
*eyes Machias*
Hey, whatcha hiding behind your back...?
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 01:01 PM

I will remind you that the one I was talking about wasn't exactly TMNT. Try cold medicine, or some old pizza.

*sneaks up behind Azure as he's looking at Machias. Slaps a handcuff on his wrist, the other end is already on mine.*
Hey Azure! You're under arrest!
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 01:02 PM
Neither was mine...
azure turtle
04-10-2002, 01:04 PM
Ack! Machias hits me with a mango then glomps me again...and now I'm handcuffed to SC! This isn't my day...
*tries to withdraw into his shell, but fails because SC is attached to his hand*
I hope you've got keys for those.
Skeletoncrew
04-10-2002, 01:05 PM
I was refering to anyone in the TMNT universe. Not just turtles. I've had a few dreams recently with one or two of the Turtles in them...but kinda just as background characters.
Skeletoncrew
04-10-2002, 01:06 PM
*smiles at Azure*
Yeah. I've got keys, but they're hidden on me.
Tsk tsk, what kind of ninja can't get out of handcuffs? What, Splinter hasn't gotten to escaping and picking locks yet?
Skeletoncrew
04-10-2002, 01:07 PM
Shhhhh! Don't give him any ideas!

My my, a lot ahs been going on in here today.
Kinky TMNT dreams? SC, your not the only one. The only dreams I have with them involves running away from impending doom.
Ahhhh Azure, I see you go out of those handcuffs. But who here as really escaped from a pair of handcuffs? Okay, hands up who has been arrested and frisked by the police? Had to perform a drunk and disorderly test?
Funny thing is I was talking to someone in a chat room yesterday and I asked what they did for a living. She said she was a police officer. I then told her I have an allergy to the police, eveytime I see one I break out into a run.
LOL! Well, I have really thin and flexible wrists, and even though I've never had real handcuffs (gotta get me some) I don't think slipping out of them will be a problem. I can fold my hand until it's the same width as my wrist.
*walks over to help SC* Okay, now where are the keys at?
Nunchucker
04-10-2002, 01:47 PM
I bathed my baby turtles today. Talk about cutesville. I love the way their little legs wave about when you pick them up.
As soon as their CITES papers come through, it is off to the vets for a health check and a weigh in. (aww)
Aww. I thought about getting baby turtles, but then I thought some more. I have the room now, but I'll be moving soon, and after that I'll be getting a job and probably going to school. The last thing I want are neglected pets, so I decided to wait until I have a steady schedule.

...? Geez, now I feel like a real 'home girl'. Never been in handcuffs, never been in trouble with the police (I only been pulled over for speeding!), and well... I don't like to be in trouble so I avoid doing things that could get me there.

Still can wait to see the lil turtle babies! They are so cute when that small.

I never got in trouble with the police, and I hope it stays that way. I'd rather not get involved with them.
Congrats on the baby turtles, Nun! Did you decide on names yet??
Oy, and WB to Gen Dis, HT! It's been a while since you posted here
*sees SC still struggling with the handcuffs*
Hahahahaha....
I've never been in trouble with the police either. And I hope I never will be. I know they're just doing their jobs, but I just can't bring myself to respect them due to them being authority figures. I wouldn't do anything I thought was wrong anyway.
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 06:40 PM
Good to know i'm not alone. Man, I am such a preppie compared with some of the people here at college!
I've never gotten in trouble with police, no speeding tickets, no detentions, no dinking, no smoking no drugs, NOTHING!
I think i was grounded once in my life, and then there's the stuff i've done here...

Heh heh, the most trouble I ever got into in high school was detention for being late too many times. Gah, is it my fault I'm not a morning person?
I like doing most of my "bad deeds" in my head, or in a place like this. All the fun with none of the consequences.
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 06:49 PM
Until the clones catch you, then youre dead meat...
Ah, I can deal with them. When was the last time I got into any real trouble around here? Oh, yeah, the magazine incident, but aside from that.

I'm planning to try and find a way to get all the clone craziness put into order, and THEN i'm gonna make a list of all the trouble we got into so i can blackmail you!
*off-topic critters appear*

Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 07:46 PM
I guess. But being perfect does have its boring moments.
once i get the stories sorted, i'll do something like a "Revenge of the clones" thread. Maybe not, I dont know...
*shrugs* That's kinda the problem with all our random topics. We lose track of a lot of stuff.
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 08:05 PM
Well, i'm gonna try and unrandomize it! It will be a great achievement, one that will be remembered for centuries to come!!!
Yeah right....Oh well. It'll be fun!
I salute your effort. Heh, maybe we can publish it as a fic.
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 08:18 PM
That would be kinda neat. like those round robin fics. It would be one of the greatest and LONGest fics, but i bet people would love it!
8plot begins to form in head*
Go for it. We'll get a lot of "You people are warped." and "What is wrong with you?" reviews.
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 08:35 PM
Well, in your case, it'll be the truth! *ducks bappage*
Yeah, I know. But almost everybody knows that already, so I really don't mind.
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 08:44 PM
Im reading the thread where we created them. How....interesting. Making one clone to watch over a clone who was made to keep another clone (who was made to bug the other clones)busy. Whacky!
Man, it confuses me and I was there. Scary what boredom can lead to.
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 08:54 PM
Yeah, like your pics of my story.
Nah, im kidding. I love them. My first official fanart, so to say...
But yeah, it'd be a very confusing story, but an entertaing one nonetheless...
Very entertaining. Just as fun to read as it was to write.
azure turtle
04-10-2002, 09:01 PM
It would make a nice fic...especially since most of the posters here got involved with the clone fiasco in one way or another
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 09:02 PM
hehehe, I cant WAIT to read the whole thing! Ah, the memories, hot nights in cold pools, bike-riding to heat the hot tub, endless scoldings and lectures, the making out, the hot marshmallows, the spiked food and drink, the rolereversal....man, what a trip!
If I were you, I'd leave out the parts about your story, or you'll give the whole thing away!
Machias Banshee
04-10-2002, 09:16 PM
That's what i'm planning to do. I'll take the stuff from the posts and use them as notes for my story.
Nunchucker
04-11-2002, 02:28 AM
Hmmmm you lot make me sound like a criminal.
Yes I have been in trouble with the police. I have been arrested and spent the night in a cell. I got banned from college for a week for fighting and I was involved in a fight outside the Purple Turtle pub in Reading.
These are not things that I am proud of. I got in with a very bad crowd in my teenage years. I am happy to say that since then I have grown a brain and matured. I would be lying if I said I didn't look back on those times and laugh. Some of the things we used to get up to.

Well, I've read quite a few websites about "corseting", supposedly its really not all that bad. Of course, some people also find stuff like shoes sexually arousing...so really, you can't trust anyone's judgement other than your own.
sounds like you guys are having fun.. mind if I listen in and add comments from the peanut gallery? And are you implying that there's something WRONG with pyromaniacs?

Nope. Nothing wrong with Pyros!

Nothing wrong with pyromaniacs. Heck, I am one, myself. Welcome to our thread of silly randomness, Mica.

I'm gonna get my hair cut REAL short again! Woo! and this time it's ME choosing, not my raphish type mood swings.. last time i went in to get a trim, and I had long hair past my shoulders. I was in a raphish mood and I growled to the stylist to cut it all off, and I freaked out about it later... hee hee, but I miss short hair so I'm chopping it all off again
~Mica (buzcut? naaaah)
I've got a few recipes, but I've never had the chance to make any.
You think past the shoulders is long? Heh heh, try having it past your waist. That's long. I'm not getting mine cut until I can sit on it.
cool, homade inscense? I've made homeade scented candles, but never inscense! How you do it?
~Mica (i love bubble-gum scented candles!)
Skeletoncrew
04-11-2002, 10:48 PM
Well, I make loose incense and use it with charcoal. Basically just grind the ingredients, mix them up, and sprinkle it on the charcoal!
oohhh cooll... sounds like a lot of work, and a fire hazard for me who likes to play with burny things... I guess I'll stick to my stick inscense from the store
~Mica
Skeletoncrew
04-11-2002, 10:54 PM
Well, there's not a lot you can do with the charcoal...at least, its not an open flame. Personally the stove is a far greater danger to me than flames. My burners don't work very well and I accidentally touched one today while I was holding my hand over it to see if it was working. It was.
oooh! *ala the flesh* Ouchies! dang that had to hurt! But I'm not good around anything burny... I wanted to play with the stick inscense and was waving it around like a wand. Some of the ashes fell on my foot... another time i was seeing if i could touch it and it burned my finger.. I also like to start things on fire with it... paper... couch cushions... cats...

Actually, the worst burn I ever got was from hot tea. Someone jostled me right after I got it at a coffeeshop...splashed both my hands!
my worst was from hot nacho CHEEZE! I accidently burned my arm on the pot while reaching up into a cupboard to get cups when I worked at Taco Johns. I still have the scar... heh... I HAVE A CHEEZE SCAR!!

I cant fvut mine! nOt only would it be weird, but my hair gets all staticy, and i look like a dandelion fluff, or a kooshball on crack!
Heh heh. I'll get mine cut the day I can sit on it. *looks over her shoulder* Hmmm, doesn't look too far off. Plus, I love brushing it and playing with it. Even if my arms do get tired when I do a french braid.
Machias Banshee
04-12-2002, 12:06 PM
Oy, french braids are hell! My hair is wicked think, so it takes THREE people to do it!
But yeah, i love brushing it, and i love the looks on peoples' faces when i take it out of my ponytail. Theyre eyes practically bug out!
HorseTechie
04-12-2002, 12:09 PM
heh... yeah, that's cuase you don't do the sort of things where it gets in the way, Kali.
Reasons why I don't like loooong long hair:
1. It takes alot of effort to wash, condition and untangle in the morning.
2. Longer hair uses up more shampoo/conditioner and hair gel to keep the frizzies down.
3. Takes longer to dry (being naturally curly)
4. Lots of split ends
5. I don't like hair getting in my face (it really likes to stick to my lips.. or when static cling attacks)
6. I work around biiig copy machines, that it could get into.
7. So many people think I look cuter with my hair up that with it down (in the twist and hair clip style) ;P
LOL! Well, I have kinda thin hair. It was really thin, but my mom had a stylist do this weird layering thing when I was younger, so it has more body now. Weird.
I went through this one day where I wanted to just go out and cut my hair really short. Then dye it dark red. If there had been a salon nearby, I would have done it, too.
I think my desire for long hair comes from when I had to get a bowl cut when I was a kid. (My friend had cut a big chunk of my hair and they had to "fix it".) I still cringe at those pictures.
HorseTechie
04-12-2002, 12:18 PM
What I hate the most is that I have naturally curly hair. SO many times I wished I could cut it short, but whenever I did... I'd look like lil orphan Annie! But then when it gets too long, the weight makes trhe curls go flat. Like I have limp wavy hair. So it looks best at shoulder length, with defined layers cut in.
But my hair grows sooo fast too. If I didn't cut it at all in a year, I think it can grow six inches easy. Another thing I hate about really long hair.. is that my husband will rollontop of it when we're sleeping. And then I'm trapped!
Saisei
04-12-2002, 12:20 PM
I can't do much to my hair, as far as coloring goes, that is, 'cause it's naturally extremely red, and any other color wouldn't look right with my freckles. It gets sorta annoying.
Heh heh. Well, to each their own. I have slightly wavy hair that looks best long. Short hair or bangs would make me look weird. I've curled my hair, and I know what a pain long curly hair is, even for just a few days.
HorseTechie
04-12-2002, 12:22 PM
*suddenly becomes jealous of Saisei* ooo.. I wish I had hair that color. My mom does, but mine is somewhere between a darkblonde/strawberry blonde. I will sometimes use the wash-out highlight dyes to bring out the red more.
Machias Banshee
04-12-2002, 12:24 PM
Hmmm, my dirty blonde hair goes almost brownish during the winter, but it turns super blonde in the summer.
I lone having wavy hair. I brush out my hair and put it into a tight braid every night, and its always wavy the next day.
HorseTechie
04-12-2002, 12:28 PM
I have weak hair or something... all this putting it up during the day is making it have 'break-aways' in places. So then I have these curly springs sticking out on the side of my head like Dagwood's. So don't want to sleep with my hair put up for fear that it'll make the break-aways worse.
Saisei
04-12-2002, 12:28 PM
*Grins at HT* Heheh...but seriously, sometimes I really wish I could've been a brunette or something.
What's good about my hair is that it works out at just about any length. The only time I have a problem with it is when its right at my shoulders and it starts to flip up naturally, which drives me crazy! I've been trying to grow it out for a while now, but everytime it reaches that length, I go balistic and chop it down again. I've been enduring it for these past few months, but I've given serious thoughts to getting a pixie cut instead.
HorseTechie
04-12-2002, 12:33 PM
heh-heh.. well a redhead is better than being a blonde! *ducks baps*
Grrr... although at the moment, I qualify more as a redhead than a blonde.
Long hair is fun, but I rarely wear it down. I have a ton of scrunchis and hair claws.
I sometimes sleep with braids to make it super wavy. But I have to watch it. If I do too many braids, it looks crimped, and like I kissed a light socket.
Hey, has anybody else tried those Snap and Go rollers? I like those.
Machias Banshee
04-12-2002, 12:37 PM
*baps HT*
yeah, i tried those. Too much hair, not enough roller, unfortunately...
Ooh, what about Turbi Twists? I use those, and they're kinda neat. Not quite long enough for all my hair, though. But I've figured out a way to get it all in.
And I love beading my hair. *tries to remember the name of the product she uses*

I too am a long hair fan!
I started to grow my hair long ever sinbce I was mistaken for a boy! I had long lovely hair down to my waist, then for some mad reason I decided to have it trimmed. Split ends I think. Well I said to the woman that I wanted it to come to the middle of my back. The damned devil woman hacked it to just below the shoulder!

I had someone do that to me once. Just about made me cry...
*runs off to see bundle of trouble*
I had my hair cut up to my shoulders just before I started high school. Willingly. I wanted a change, you know, new school, new me and all that. It was okay, but I couldn't wait to grow it back out.
Skeletoncrew
04-12-2002, 03:27 PM
My hair is naturally dirty blonde (or dishwater blonde, or mousey depending on who I've asked), about mid back length, and I've got those "Dagwood" things too. For some reason the hair right next to my face never grows out long, so I've got these curls that stick up! Its also thinner than I'd like... *pout*
I need to learn how to do stuff with it though...I kept it short most of my life, and now I don't know how to braid it or anything. Also, I don't use any sprays or anything, I'm chemically sensitive.
Now, on to something more interesting! I stopped by my favorite comic book shop today...and they were having a 50% off sale!!! I got 21 comics for less than $20!!!! Put a serious dent in their TMNT selection.
Machias Banshee

Ooh, way to find the bargains, SC! Geez, I wish there was a comic book store around campus. Grr...bummer about issue #3. Maybe you can send a money order while your in Utah, so the comic book will be waiting for you when you get back? I might just have that comic sent to my home address rather than my dorm room, since I'm afraid school will end before it gets here...
Machias Banshee

I was also thinking I might ask the shop if they'd hold one for me. I'm pretty much a regular there now. I'll be back on the 2nd, so it would probably be quicker if they'd hold it.
I got a great bargain on comics way back awhile ago. There was a 50% off sale and they had tons of TMNT books. Of course, it was also a moving sale, so it wasn't all good. I went there every couple of days and bought $20 worth of books each time. *sigh* I miss getting paychecks.
HorseTechie
04-12-2002, 05:13 PM
Piff.. I have acces to all kinds of comic book stores, but they're usually to commercial to sell their back issues that cheap. *sai*
The comic cons, however...that's where I've got some sweet deals. Usually on the last day, many booths will reduce stuff down to a $1 or 50 cents for pretty good comics I never seen anywhere else. They'll also let you bargain the price (like say, "I've seen the same issue for less on ebay!")
azure turtle
04-12-2002, 06:18 PM
Oh! I've haggled before! At some of the small comic shows I've been to, I've gotten sweet deals from some of the vendors. Fun stuff!

It sure sucks just how much it costs to replace a door or a bumper though. Dealerships and body shops can be such ripoffs!
Oh, but nothing serious though, thank god. I have been in some close-calls on the interstate when I was younger, but nothing major serious. *knocks on wood* I've been good now, it's been a year since I last bumped someone. *modest grin* Unless you want to call ths stupid failure of not turning wide enough around a sidewalk corner last week. I've never seen the third one.
Ooh, boy, that's because it's recent. Tonight was my first time seeing it. Seriously, all three movies are great. They've got great action and humor that rivals TMNT. And they carry it through all three movies, I think TMNT fans would love this trilogy.
~Stupid typos.~
