View Full Version : What's the best Casey figure?

I really like the character, and I have one of the original Casey figures, but I kind of want an updated version.

I can't decide between the 2k3 one or the TMNT one. Which has better articulation? Any opinions or pictures would be great!

Exactly what I was thinking.

The OT line Casey was, ironically, more comic accurate... but I think the 2k3 casey was pretty good. At least you could remove the mask, which gave it an advantage.

It's too bad we never got a TMNT movie (from the first movies) Casey.

Between the 2, go with the 2k3 Casey. He's easier to stand, comes with all his traditional weapons, and has a spring loaded torso so he can punch.

Depends on which line you want to stand him with. The 2K3 Casey is kinda tiny, whereas the 2K7 movie Casey is pretty tall in keeping with the other figures in the line. How tall is Casey supposed to be?

I also disagree with TTN -- my 2K3 Casey has a pretty difficult time standing, but the movie one stands just fine. The spring-loaded torso thing doesn't do anything for me either. ;P

I currently have 2 sets of Turtles, the TMNT new movie ones, and the NECA figures. Casy would probably be standing with my NECA turtles first, but then if/when the NECA version comes out, he would get moved to be with my other TMNT turtles.

It kinda seems like the TMNT one has better articulation, but is less comic accurate.

There was a psudeo-Movie Casey in the form of Whit with a hockey mask....back in the day. I wish I could see some good pictures of him.

I hope the innevetable NECA and BTTS Casey Figures will be good. My 2K3 Casey is still unopened but 2k7 is and I think he's pretty decent.

Cool. I just found a TMNT Casey yesterday, but I have yet to open him.

Still intend to get a NECA version if they ever make it...

This is why I wish Neca were doing movie toys. So a wave could include:

Movie Shredder
Tetsu
Movie Casey Jones
