Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X {Customs}

I thought I would start sharing some of the things I'm working on and the first of them is a figure I've always really never been to happy with because of how it didn't look as it did on the show.
These are all the first photos of my custom Zak the Neutrino, I will be posting photos of the finished figure soon so please keep that in mind.
What I've changed so far on the figure is that I've cut off allot of the extra unneeded detail, sculpted a new nose on his face to match how it looks on the show, and the biggest things where his hair and shoulder pads.
I will also be fixing Dask, Kala, making Kala's Grybyx, as well as making the Star Mobile.
So keep an eye out for all of that as well as a General Traag figure to go along with this set also made completely from another figure.

Ok Here's some more sorry they're so dark and that It took me an etra day to get them up, I've been working on allot of things.
So this is the final updated images of my custom Zak figure as you can see I added a bit more detail to him and outlined him with some black so he could match more closely to the NECA figures I have him with in the last photo.
Points to the people who get the background joke :P

Good work dude. Do you plan on using the Foot Starcruiser as the basis for the Neutrino Starcruiser or something else?

It's not about putting them to shame it's just about fixing what's wrong and showing old minds what can be done with old products to make them better without much work.

wow, never realized how much the Zak-Neutrino figure differs from his animated appearance. the main thing im seeing is the elimination of that weird hat thing he was wearing. are you going to be making the 4 turtles as well?? the neca turtles are too big for Zak. cant wait to see the General Traag you said u were making, and possibly Granitor too since he was in that episode?

The Neutrinos are much smaller than the turtles watch the episodes.
The NECA TMNT are the closest thing we're going to get to being size acurate.
I've been thinking about painting my 4 neca turtles to look like they do on the toon but I'm not sure, I'm sort of waiting to see if they will do it.
But yeah I never understood why they didn't fix Zak up when they made the toon turtles but the same could be said for shredder, and why didn't they make toon rocksteady and bebop. *shruggs*
Traag will come after the other 2 Neutrinos and possibly some Archie characters I'm working on.

I'll tell ya how I feel, I think that looks amazing. I don't usually like customs because in all honesty most of them are pretty bad but when I like one enough to actually say something that's a compliment in my book.

You did a good job, the paint job is great and seeing how much you added onto it I can tell you put a lot of work into it. I look forward to seeing more of your work. This is the first one I've seen of yours in awhile.

I never liked the Neutrinos, and doubt I ever will, but you did a very nice job of re-imaging Zak. The parts you added to the figure, with whatever sculpting medium you're using, are a little too apparent, as they don't match up well with the plastic base figure parts you're using, in terms of texture/appearance/level of sculpted detail, but, other than that, cool custom.

I'd recommend you do some compression to your JPG images as well, they're a lot bigger than they need to be, in terms of file size, which makes this thread take longer to load than necessary [i.e., your group photo with the NECA TMNT is 872 kb, I re-saved it, without any modifications, in Microsoft Paint, and it came out as 144 kb, with the same level of quality/clarity (at least so far as my human eyes can tell)]. Not everyone has blazing fast internet access.
