April is one of my favorite characters in the franchise and I like even the 80's toon version, I think she is very well drawn and sexy. So is April in the current toon in her own girl next door sort of way. I've been seeing alot of good artists on here that do some amazing work so I was wondering if I could make a request of the artists on if some one could draw a colored picture of 80's toon April and current toon April together?

I would really like that if some one did this for me. :)

Question, why do you call this "lonely April", why is she lonely? She almost looks ready to cry here like her prom date stood her up or something. But I think April is very well drawn here, all she needs is OT Casey Jones to show up and give her some flowers. :D

And I also agree that the bust on that Leela pic of April needs to be bigger but still very goood job. :)

I particularly enjoyed the NightWatcher drawings you did, especially the one of the penciled Raph on his motorcycle.

thanks for altering it. When ypu drew the Leela and prom date April's did you have a base to work with or did you do it from pulling it out of your head? Sometimes for something eleborate I need a model to draw to get the pose or the folds of some clothing just right.

I actually had a model for those, cause it`s easier and quicker to draw. ;) For Leela, I was looking at a picture of April from the first episode (the one where she`s reporting about crime in NY). For 'sad April' I just used her face model from one of the first episodes (the body was all me :D). I think the best animation`s from the first season. :)

And you`re totally right about the catwoman picture. Creepy but nicely done. :D

Niiiiice, I love the movie Kill Bill and that yellow mortorcycle jump suit the Bride wears, and this really seems to suit OT April considering it's not all that diffrent from the reporter's jump suit she wears in the show.

Can you draw OT April wearing a red night gown? Also can you color her with green or blue eyes instead of black? I've always thought she looked better with colored eyes instead of black.

oooh, this is very pretty. You made April look very innocent but sexy at the same time. :) Like how you have her strap going down her shoulder a bit, and that pose she's in sitting on the bed. It almost looks like she is waiting for some one to come and tuck her in for the night. ;)

I thought about it, but it takes more time and skill to do it in Photoshop. I hope I`ll have more time in future to practice. For now, I`ll stick to good old pencil. ;) Or I could ask someone to do the digital coloring for me. :D

I'm a bad dromie. It's been several weeks since you graciously filled in my OT April requests and I haven't properly thanked you yet. :( Thanks for drawing OT April in a leopard print bikini and in the Kill Bill outfit. :) You do such a good job at keeping her looking like the real OT APril and how she is depicted in the series but with varitations so that it gives a another deminsion to her looks, so that you think. Wow, she could have easily been drawn wearing that in the show! :o That I think is the mark of really good artist if they can capture a well known character and make said character look exactly the same, but better. 8)

I'm especially impressed with the April in a bikini picture you drew. Every thing looks so nice from her face and her hair to her posture. You gave her such a pretty face in that picture! And you really more than met my expectations. The reason I even asked you to draw that is because I had recently watched a Real Ghostbusters episode on youtube where Janine was wearing a yellow lepard print bikini and I thought to my self "I could see OT April wearing something like that, to bad she never did" so when I saw that you did such a good relistic depiction of OT April dressed like Leela, I decided to make the request to have drawn in lapard style bikini so that I could actually see her in something like that. And you made it look even better than I thought. here is what I'm talking about:

and the Kill Bill drawing came out wicked good, the yellow jump suit seemed to really fit OT April and seems like something April would wear. To bad April never got to waer something as kickass awsome as that outfit in the series. :cry: The Kill Bill jumpsuit just seems to go with the sporty and sassy nature OT April had, she almost looks like a secret agent cop in the Kill Bill get up. I'd say that she looks better in it than the the actress who wore in the movie, because her red hair really set it off. I've thought it would have been cool to see OT April as cop rather a reporter. This drawing has made me want to write a fan fic of OT April wearing something like that doing the sword weilding girl thing. thanks for do these for me :D and so quickly. Well, it's not hard, at least for me. I always loved to draw female character's faces (especially April's ;)). And when you draw something like hundreds of times, success is the only way. :D So, for me, the face is the easy part, and the body is something I should work on more. Besides, I'm just an amateur and I'm doing this for fun. :embarass: If you want to draw a face, you should practice more, or find some drawing tutorials.

And, yes, I tried to draw her with longer hair. I think I can do that for you. ;) Thanks again for appreciating my work.

I was thinking about taking up requests, hence me asking. Might help make me draw more by getting inspiration from looking around at the requests in here.
