View Full Version : fuzzy dice?

I was given some snazzy fuzzy red dice, which were promptly hung up on the rearview mirror in my car. Recently one of my brothers who lives in CA was visiting, and he told me that dice on the mirror means that some...um...action occurred there.

Is that true? Do I need to remove the dice or hurry up and make a date for Saturday night? Does that mean Michelangelo scored with Kala in the OT, as he bought fuzzy dice for the cruiser in "Pizza by the Shred"? :tlove:

I'd say you need to remove them. Society demands it!

... ever heard of "Do what you feel like?" That might be a good place to start looking for an answer.

I've never heard that, but I'm going to say you should just say "To Hell with what society thinks!" and leave the dice where they are.

Finally some good thread on this board!

I'd say leave them. Who cares?

Never heard of that but according to Wikipedia it's illegal to put things on your rearview mirror in some states.

I think your brother is pulling your leg.

It might actually be something that's understood with his circle of friends or something.

I've actually heard of that before, but most people probably don't know that it means that. I say get the Sat. night date, just in case.

That seems to be likely. Maybe it's just a regional thing, too...in Cleveland where I grew up, it was apparently a gang sign to see a pair of tennis shoes with the laces tied together, hanging off the power lines. o_O

Funny, I always thought that was a "respect for the dead" thing for innocent(or not so innocent) victims caught in the crossfire of gang violence.

In this area, it just means you got jumped and had your shoes removed from your reach. I've known people who had this done to them.

I am, but I'm probably not within an acceptable distance. Or dateworthy.

I've heard this but it's an old thing.

It's like having a specific ear pierced means your gay. It may have been true a long time ago but now it's just fashion and taste.

And no way man, the piercings still go, that's why I have more piercings in my left ear yannowhatimsayin

Hmm... I have always told myself that any gal I date would have to be at the very least, a minor TMNT fan. Otherwise she'd get freaked out by the walls of my apartment.

Don't mind me, just thinking out loud....

Sounds like a good criterion. Ok, now you have to post some pix of your apartment. Gotta back that statement up!

Some older ones are available in the Collection Photo thread in the Toys & Collectables forum. New ones should be available before the week's end.

Finally got pics of my collection. It's not my entire collection, unfortunately (still in the process of unpacking things - a moving bachelor's job is never done!), but this is all of my carded stuff at this time. Click for much larger images.

They'd have to be more than minor, I've had girls get kinda sketchy over my TMNT junk... and all I got is a Mike PEZ dispenser and one shelf with just TMNT DVD's + the four OT turtle toys.

I dunno, I've dated minor TMNT fans before and they never wigged out at my collection. Then again, I didn't have over 70 carded figures and two shelves of loose ones back then...

On the rearview window, not the mirror? Huh. That seems even less of an obstruction-causing location than the mirror. At least you didn't get ticketed! In Cleveland, cops don't seem to care about stuff like that. Shoot, they barely stop anyone for moving violations, unless it's excessive speed or something. Watch out in the suburbs, though. The rent-a-cops don't have as many homicides and domestic disturbances to keep 'em busy.

How much auto action do THESE babies signify? And do you think you'd get a ticket displaying them? ^_^
