What's everyone doing for the holidays? My 3 military brothers and their significant others (and a new baby, in one case) will all be coming to town this week. We've some fun stuff planned, including a baptism for the young'un and karaoke to celebrate a December birthday, aside from the usual holiday stuff. Am really looking forward to everyone being together!

I plan on having Christmas with family. You know, the typical way of spending the holiday. I've noticed that a considerable amount of people in my family have started to drink more at parties. Hmm... interesting.

This is a thread about the most awesome time of the year, and you guys are already being dicks, nice.
Hannah, just don't give them anything. Presents someone made for you are infinitely meaningless, no matter what people say, unless it's from someone you love and the gift has some kind of significance. I'll tell you right now, your brothers will appreciate nothing, rather than having to jam some ****** macaroni art picture into a drawer in their room for the sake of not making you feel bad.
Lawl at Ninji-whatever for internet dating.
For Christmas, I'm going to go to the yearly family Christmas party, and probably get drunk, unless my girlfriend is able to go, in which case I'll probably be grounded before the night is over. I also might end up playing Santa Claus for all the little kids, considering the only other choice is my uncle, who one year took too many shots, lost his beard and fell off the chair, scaring the sh*t out of the children.
For Christmas itself, I'm just gonna spend it with my family and my girlfriend. Can't wait. It's the only time of the year I'm not completely filled with hate.

Christmas day as normal
My parents are going to Cancun for their honeymoon day after Christmas....never had a real one.
My brother dropped the bomb that he knocked up his girlfriend at the Thanksgiving meal. (my new Niece or Nephew arrives in July) He's spending Christmas with her family.
I have the week off. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then New Year's Eve. :)
PS....everyone should have some fruitcake lady to cheer them up.

Teetotalism for the win... I'll probably be the only one not hung over the next day.
Don't really have anything planned besides the usual family get together. I guess we'll just wing it like always.
Man, at least Thanksgiving involves turkey and the Cowboys.:P

Working Christmas eve (but getting paid time and a half, yay!), then doing the family/food thing on Christmas day. Nothing really exciting, but it's my favorite time of year so I'm looking forward to it non the less.

At least you get that. I'm working Eve and Day, and don't get anything extra. Family/food will only be about two hours, because I have to get ready for work the next day.

Happy Holidays!
What do i have planned? absolutely nothing, my one sister lives across town, the other on the other side, my mom lives next to her mom and thats the only family i see on her side during the holidays as for my dads side well ever since he passed no one really gets together and his mom and sister live about 20 minutes away from each other and his dad well.. doesnt celebrate anything
so my xmas will consist of me driving around all day burning a full tank of gas exchanging presents
going to be fun :roll:
