okay this may not be true, I was talking about tmnt at school friday and my friend told me that the turtles and some other shows are gonna air on fox family. I have no idea if this is true.

SPEEd

its ABC Family! The channel sucks! Thats the last childrens channel I would watch TMNT.

RaphRockz
03-04-2002, 02:40 PM
ughhh not cool. But i think i could spare ½ hour to watch tmnt.

Hot Rod 350

ABC family sucks. TMNT should come on cartoon network

SPEEd
03-04-2002, 05:42 PM
I agree

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 05:44 PM
cartoon network would be most suitable

SPEEd
03-04-2002, 05:56 PM
sure would with all the anime. It would be the best on Toonami or close to DragonBall Z

Kali
03-04-2002, 06:13 PM
*scratches her head* You know, I heard that The Next Mutation was going to air on Fox/ABC Family.

SPEEd
03-04-2002, 06:17 PM
That would make sense of TMNT going on ABC Family with NT:TNM

SPEEd
03-04-2002, 06:18 PM
NT:TNM was a fox show you know. Or I think

Kali
03-04-2002, 06:20 PM
Yep, ABC bought Fox, I think, so along with it they bought a whole bunch of Fox shows, like NT:TNM. I REALLY want TNM on TV again.

SPEEd
03-04-2002, 06:20 PM
Yes totally.

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 07:15 PM
i know people may hate me for this but i didnt like TNM

Kali
03-04-2002, 07:19 PM
That's okay, you don't have to like it, it's your opinion. Some people would just post that "it sucked" which would be rude. Those are the people I don't really like.

azure turtle
03-04-2002, 07:21 PM
Heh.......I liked TNM, I just hate Saban.

Machias Banshee
03-04-2002, 07:23 PM
It was odd seeing a female turtle. It kinda clashed with all the 'alone in the world' themes... that i didnt like the corny sound effects.

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 07:24 PM
TNM would have been cool if it was CGI

Kali
03-04-2002, 07:25 PM
I could tune out the sound effects, no problem. I liked seeing a female Turtle, even though it was odd. Peter never liked her for that same reason, that it went against the 'alone in the world' feeling. Of course, she didn't seem too eager to 'continue the species.'

Kali
03-04-2002, 07:26 PM
They were going to do an animated version of TNM, or at least a comic book, but it fell through.

azure turtle
03-04-2002, 07:27 PM
*snickers*
Yep, Venus didn't seem like the one who wanted to carry fate of the mutant turtle race on her shoulders. And I agree about the sound effects. I still enjoyed the show, though. I watched it every time I got home from junior high.
*shakes angry fist at Saban*

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 07:28 PM
the characters looked funny

Machias Banshee
03-04-2002, 07:29 PM
I wish someone other than saban had done it. Power Rangers in the resume is not something to be proud of...

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 07:30 PM
Hanna Barbara could have done TNM, it would have been good too. or warner bros.

Kali
03-04-2002, 07:30 PM
I LOVED the guys costumes! Very drool worthy. Splinter and some other characters could have been better though. But they were better then the third movie!

Machias Banshee
03-04-2002, 07:34 PM
Yeah, Splinter looked fluffy, crabby and spacey...

*prays to GOD that he doesnt see this*

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 07:34 PM
if TNM characters looked the way they did in the 1st movie, I would have watched it more

azure turtle
03-04-2002, 07:36 PM
Ya, I liked the new costumes, too. It was the way Saban handled the show that I didn't like. I mean, Saban was responsible for other shows: Power Rangers, VR Troopers, and Big Bad Beatleborgs. Where are those shows now? Gone. Arrr, I wish Saban would've stayed with their own programming.

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 07:37 PM
if i did my math right. Saban = down the toilet

azure turtle
03-04-2002, 07:42 PM
Though I am very thankful that the TMNT got to be on TV again, albeit briefly. It's better than nothing, which is what we've got now

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 07:43 PM
very very true azure

Kali
03-04-2002, 07:43 PM
But not for long! The new show's in production, I think. Well, they're working on it.

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 07:44 PM
i read another topic where it says it got canned

azure turtle
03-04-2002, 07:44 PM
I certainly hope so! If it's gonna be a Saturday morning 'toon (I have a strong feeling that it will) I will force myself to get up just to watch it! Yes, I am a hardcore fan

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 07:45 PM
I cant get up on Saturday before noon, i would have to tape it or be a true fan and roll outta bed and watch it

Machias Banshee
03-04-2002, 07:47 PM
Do an all-nighter, watch TMNT while enduring a sugar high from eating chocolate pudding, and crash into bed for the rest of the day!

Thats my plan, so far

Kali
03-04-2002, 07:48 PM
No, no, no, the CGI show got canned. They're doing a CGI movie now. And the show's going to be standard animation.

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 07:50 PM
all nighter, i did that once on 4th of july so i wouldnt sleep all day, i stayed up all the 3rd and 4th, and slept like a rock on the 5th

azure turtle
03-04-2002, 07:50 PM

Hot Rod 350

Machias Banshee
03-04-2002, 08:19 PM

Oh great, now i'm gonna get in trouble for putting the hairy lobstertail in the puddin.

Make sure you pull the chewbacca hairs out of your teeth...

azure turtle
03-04-2002, 08:20 PM
Ah! Chewbacca?! Where? Where?
*looks around frantically, hoping he doesn't have to battle the hairy beast again*

Hot Rod 350
03-04-2002, 08:20 PM

Machias Banshee
03-04-2002, 08:27 PM

Ah ha! *Does the we have Ninja Turles the Next Mutation on t.v in England Dance*

Yes! Fox kids has started showing the Next Mutation again, but sadly not in order. Why do childrens channels do that? Anyway, a children's channel that shows the turtles and jackie chan all on the same day can't be that bad. Can it?

Kali
03-05-2002, 08:59 AM
*sigh* Unfortunately, I can't find TNM in my local listings. I wouldn't care if they weren't in order, just as long as I had a VCR.
