Wow, here I am wondering why I got all these hits from here. You all found my review of that horrifying fanfic of tmnt I did.

I would like to make it clear I did not write it, only make merciless fun of it. The writer hopefully is currently seeking mental health and perhaps took up buddhism/drinking to help deal with the obvious issues involved.

I urge everyone to read the review...It's somewhat harmless. Only the people who find skydiving without a chute boring should read the 'fanfic.'

Yup, i was browsing migthy beatnik's forum to see if there were any updates, then saw you posted a link to your site, so i said wth and checked it :D after reading the review of the fic i thought i had to let my opinion out so i posted here heh.
But it was never my intention to pass it out as it being writen by you, so yeah i'd like to make clear that the author is someone with the nickname 'aska' (Yup, now the mental image i have of "aska" from TMNT tournament fighters is of a psycho turtle penis eater who is so crazy that'd only get sex from an isolated mutant turtle...and with her gross fetishes that doesnt surprise me...thank you internet! :D ).

To be technical, it's not cannibalism, since "Aska" is not a Mutant Turtle herself. And I highly doubt it was actually meant to turn anyone on. It was meant to disturb people.

And don't judge this to harshly. I've seen WORSE! Believe me. Yes, this is freaky, but it was meant to be that way. I'm not saying you should read it and like it, heavens no, But hey, it's just a story. Content within a fic doesn't necessarily reflect the writer's mental state. I mean look at my fics.

Meh, i dunno...if she did it for the shock value then she could've written a horror story, like mica's dementia (which was MUCH better than...this =p ) but she didnt, she was obviously writing an "erotic" fic imo (erotic for lack of a better word)...after all she submited it to a site that had that exclusive content and all.

I'm not saying you can't judge the fic and say it's bad. I do think it's bad. But you (and I mean all of you) cannot judge the author based on this one fic. Saying the story sucks is one thing, but saying the author needs help because they wrote a joke erotica fic is quite another.

Well i hope i didnt offend anyone either, except for the author...errrr no, i didnt mean i was aiming to hurt the author, what i meant was that i was going to take the risk, just to voice my perhaps negative...ok very negative opinion.
And yes, i *would* be upset as i know how that feels, but i am very sensitive to criticism, therefore when i fear negative criticism i dont post my stuff online at all when its bound to get criticism...specially if what i post on the net include things i'd rather keep to myself like penis eating or whatever :dead:
Now i'm not saying she can't post whatever she wants because she can, but its bound to get criticized, for good and/or for bad..

Luckily, I am generally a happy-go-lucky hateful guy and as such I have no qualm in hurting people's feelings. I expect the same of my writing from my critics.

For an old site I wrote for, I did an article entitled "How to Mail a Mailbomb" with the joke being be sure to include proper postage. I got replies stating that this is exactly what high schoolers are looking for, as in legitimate instructions for how to send a mailbomb. The ensuing argument about common sense vs. her opinion increased reader feedback three times over. While most agreed with me, a few just ran me down and informed me that I'll be spending a lifetime in Hell. Now that is motivation!

How I feel if that anything, much less a fan fiction, is put up in such a public domain such as the internet it is open to all forms of criticism. I hardly believe that she expected to get any form of positive remarks.

Yes, her poem (I have trouble calling it that) is horrendous. The sad thing is that there are oodles of the same claptrack all over the internet, and it's all fair game.

Something occured to me today at work. That author, "Aska", is an alias of another, very good author. Most TMNT erotica is like that, the author is simply an alias of other, more well-known fic writer.

:blanksta: Thought so...mainly because when i looked up aska in some sites including the tmnt fanfic archive, all it showed up from her was that fic.
I guess she decided to hide maybe to protect her 'reputation' as a fic writer...or maybe she had another reason, i don't know.
