The last TMNT game I ever bought/received had to have been Turtles in Time. I own a Wii, and yesterday I saw some used TMNT games at Gamestop for the GCN and Wii. Is anyone willing to post some comments about the various GCN and Wii Turtle games to help me in deciding to purchase? I believe they were a few games based off the 2k3 cartoon and 1 based off the 2k7 movie. I know nothing about any Turtle games since the SNES... Are these games Fun? Annoying? Challenging? Any unlockable old games?
Thanks!

The first TMNT game on the GCN was a pretty straighforward 3 hack 'n' slash. It was fun, but it was predictable and repetitive and bosses could get pretty annoying. Battle Nexus was also fun, but predictable and repetitive with some nasty bosses, but it had neat extras and arcadey shoot and dodge levels. Sole reason I bought this was for the arcade game, which is an unlockable feature.
The health system in Multiplayer is pretty rancid though and the controls are a bit unresponsive. Never played Mutant Melee, but TMNT 3 was probably the best of the lot that I played. It had bugs, but there was definite improvement over the previous games.
The TMNT Movie based Wii game felt like Prince of Persia lite. Fun, especially once you get on a roll, but sometimes enemies would get you in lame combos and the whole thing is over pretty quickly.
The GCN never made it to Australia though...

Quick question - is the unloackable the NES version of the arcade game, or the Arcade version of the Arcade game?

Arcade version. Same with Turtles in Time on Mutant Nightmare.
Mutant Melee (http://www.fenixware.net/fab/fab_gameMain.asp?id=321) is similar to Power Stone.
There's the upcoming TMNT Smash-Up for Wii... it's similar to Smash Bros., but not a lot is known about it at this time.

Didn't know the Turtles in Time tidbit either!
Is Hypersyone Heist unlockable on any games?

Hm, how come?
GCN
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Pretty alright for a 2P, but gets old pretty quick.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus
A 4P with an almost choose-your-own-adventure feel, but this gets tiresome too.
TMNT: Mutant Melee
A pathetic story mode, but the mini games are quite amusing. Think: keepaway.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare
Best effin' Turtles game available from the 21st Century. A 4P with an upgrades shop, pretty straight-forward levels, computer-controlled brothers that actually help you fight and loads of added-value movie clips (many only found here).
TMNT
Unless you like shallow videogames based on children's films, this one isn't for you. It's a boring, glitchy mess.
Wii
TMNT
Same review as the GCN version, but this one has a few shallow mini-games meant as tutorials for using the Wii controllers thrown in.
Super TMNT Brawl
Looks decent enough, but Wii'll have to wait until Fall to find out first-hand.

That's a great breakdown for me. Thanks! I was playing Turtles In Time last week and then I saw some of the GCN games used at Gamestop for less than $10 each. So I now have the itch and all of the replies in this thread helps. Thanks!
