Which is the best DBZ game for the ps2?

Hey all! I was wondering which DBZ on the ps2 is the best?

Dragon Ball z Budokai 3 and Dragon Ball z Budokai Tenkaichi 2, were the only ones I found worthy of purchase....and they were. Really fun games for a Dbz fan. I would avoid most of the other ones personally.

Amazing! I had no idea there was more than 1 critically acclaimed DBZ game!

Don't quote me on that, though. Let me check the cases for awards slapped on them tonight (I happen to own each game on PS2).

I didn't know that any of the DBZ games got an award. I'm leaning towards Budokai 1 &3 and Budokai Budokai Tenkaichi 2

Depends on what you're looking for. If you want a decent traditional fighter with Dragon Ball characters, go for Budokai 3 or Super Dragon Ball Z. If you want a Dragon Ball-simulator, go Budokai Tenkaichi 3. The learning curve is ridiculously steep, but it's also a blast once you get it down and I keep coming back to it.

I'm looking at the cases now... both Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and Super DBZ received IGN's "Runner-Up" award for best fighting game in 2006 (!), and Super DBZ also got the GameDaily E3 "Nod".
