I guess there are alot of rock bands that I like, though none are rock by definition. Its mostly indie/punk/death that I like in that field.

Damn man, some nice tunes in there! Def Leppard are the kings of stadium rock; Hysteria is my favourite album of all time. And even their so-called "poor" releases, like Slang and X, I find enjoyable. At this point they can basically do no wrong in my book.

Dokken, Scorpions, Van Halen, Whitesnake, Ratt, Guns 'n Roses, L.A. Guns, Kix...Jesus, have you been raiding my Winamp playlist?

I'd definitely recommend Extreme (Extreme and Extreme II: Pornograffiti) and Warrant (Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich and Cherry Pie) if you're a fan of '80s rock. These albums -- especially the Warrant ones -- kick serious ass.

Extreme is a great band if you are in to that scene. The first CD I ever bought was "3 Sides to every story" and it's still a favorite of mine to this day.

Being a guitarist, I primarily listen only to rock music with a few exceptions. I almost feel like it'd be easier listing the non-rock bands I listen to. :o I guess I'll give it a go with some of my favorites.

Guns N Roses
Alice in Chains
Pearl Jam
Nirvana
The Brilliant Green (And Tomoko's solo project.)
Anna Tsuchiya
Queen
Extreme
Def Leppard
Rush
HIM
Journey
Motley Crue
Meg and Dia (Do they count? That's a tough one.)
Olivia Lufkin
Sevendust
Paramore
Faith No More
Foo Fighters
STP
The Smashing Pumpkins
Urge Overkill
Pantera
Gilby Clarke
And Almost anything with Slash on guitar.

It seems like most people know only these two tracks but all their music is worth checking out.
