One of the trailers I saw before Princess and the Frog was a brand spanking new Free Willy movie. Cuz apperantly the whale still needs to be freed even tho he died IRL.
So for those wondering what Beau Bridges has been doing since SG1 ended....well....he's in this.
The film stars Bindi Irwin (her first movie...yay) as a girl who's orphaned after the death of her father (a wildlife expert/veteranarian...hmmm). She's sent to live with her grandfather (Beau Bridges) who runs a wildlife water park. During a storm one night an orca whale gets seemingly trapped in the water park (it's run down)....and well fun stuff ensus (except when grandpa wants to sell the whale to bad people).
This will be a direct to DVD film out next year. The Full name is Free Willy: Escape From Pirates Cove...
