Ninjara redesign

Okay, so it's not a HUGE redesign, I just changed a few things and streamlined her a bit. I always thought she was rather cool, and when my Turtles obsession reared up again I just started redesigning old characters for the sake of fun. Her origin got a little makover as well, but that's neither here nor there in regards to the picture. ;) Feedback is appreciated as I'm pathetic and need love. Geocities doesn't allow direct linking of images. Many free sites don't. I know, I've got a couple sites on Geocities myself, you always have to copy and paste images.

Of course, now I'm getting a transfer overload error, so I'll check back later.

Hey, that's pretty good. Her face is a little too wolf like tho, but not bad not bad. Bigger boobies would look nice too :roll: The brown however does look a little too saturated for the picture, but then again it could just be me.

CookSux-- Thanks, and yeah she looks a little wolfish but I really don't draw animals so I just kinda fake it instead of looking at references like I should. I'm lazy. ;)

Jephael-- Sadly, I don't have that issue. I need more of the old Mirage stuff, I only have the four compilations of the first issues and then another compilation of some later issues that involved the leech guy.

I think the reason it looks so "Egyptian" to you guys is because the head looks like the Jackel's head... and she needs some boobs, to look somewhat more asthetically pleasing. Regardless, it's the head that throws everyone off. It's a perfectly good head, but I can't see it being a female's...

Wow, I like the style. The head does look a bit jackal/Egyptian-ish to me, and it does throw the aesthetics off a bit. But other than that, the composition and coloring is great.

Getting a lot of Egyptian comments so I think it's time for me to hit the drawing board and modify her a bit. Been doing WAY too much kitsune research for people to be thinking she's some kind of Japanese jackal or something. :P Thanks for all the feedback, guys, it's a big help.

if you're gonna call for the whole "correct anatomy for the animal"... uh... then ninjara, though many pairs of teats she may have, would be COMPLETELY flat-chested except if you intended to have her nursing/whelping fox kits.

and just for the record, I LIKE the amount of boob in the Ninjara picture. She's a trained warrior! She's got a thin build to boot! Muscles and low body fat generally mean that a girl's NOT got too much breast meat. She's ripped and whip-thin and wiry. You can't be a butt-kicking, dangerously bad-ass mo-fo without MAD MUSCLES.

So yeah, if you're looking for a "Pillowy Soft" Ninjara, boys, i'd suggest you buy a plushie. I think the athletic build looks good on her.

Actually, speaking of gender indentification, the waist-hip ratio is more of a "standard" than the chest. The "ideal" (ideal as in healthy, fit, able to bear healthy children) woman's waist-hip ratio is 3/4, if I remember correctly, while a male's was 9/10. The chest is just more obvious to some people.

My, what an interesting direction this thread's taken. :lol: I hope that no one thought I was calling them sick for wanting boobs on her (which I swear she actually does have), I don't think that at all. As for that picture, just think of it as she has some major support going on. Heck, ladies, I think most of us can agree that when you're doing anything athletic, you want there to be minimul room for movement, there, that can hurt. :sick: So just think of it as her being taped, or something, if that helps. In the meantime I'm working on some pictures of her in better poses, which might help ease the "boobage" controversy. ;)
