Okay, My Try at Usagi art...

Well, Im not much of an artist, and to tell the truth I haven't really drawn anything in a few years, but CookSux version of Usagi made me want to take a crack at it... no where near done, Im planing on redrawing the whole thing, this was just my first shot at it, tell me what ya think

I think it's good :D there was a time when i was practicing mouse art but now i just can't draw with a mouse :dead: so congrats about that too
I've drawn 2 usagi yojimbos i think, one a few months ago and the other one just a few weeks ago...i'll post those here as soon as i can upload em.

Hey, that's tight. I still prefer his ears seperate then tied together. BTW his right foot is wearing a different shoe then the sandal on the left?

Nah, I was just having trouble matching the sandles properly, wich is why I plan on redrawing it... Thanks for the compliments guys ^^

Which was in a trading card album i bought, a tmnt one, one of the parts of the album covered the usagi yojimbo episode.

I never saw him untill the episode aired, and he was my favorite... I was a weird kid, all my friends liked Cowboys, I liked Samurai.

That's ok you didn't tie his ears, I'm seconding what CookSux said... They look better loose.

Yeah...At first i thought he didnt quite looked right, but couldnt figure out why, then i realized i forgot to tie his ears...but i guess he looks fine that way too!

Yeah, it's not like we need to copy the original, I like to change my things around. The loose ears are more free anyways.

Most fanart i did probably have some differences here and there...i think it's fine as long as my drawings dont get out of character.

heheh... yah, save me from giving the tied ear speach again. :P

But yeah... I have noticed Sakai usually draws Usagi with tied ears when he's in battle mode too. Like that's Usagi's trademark, as how the TMNT have ninja masks and assigned weapons. But everything else can go!

But I like the expression he has, GK, and the nice detailing of his clothes. :D
