*drum roll* Midori: Chapter Seven is nearly complete. It's in the final editing stages. And I vaugely remember a promise to release the first chapter of "No place to call home..." when I put out chapter seven.

AND, I finished the rough outline for the beginning of my sequel to "Out of Time". (How did you people manage to talk me into this?) In the very least, *I* know who the mothers are, even if the story is never released.

Yeah, I guess I am, but it might be awhile. The only thing I've got so far is who is mothers are, a brief idea of their origins, and some cute childhood stories.

But I don't know, a big part of Out of Time is the mystery behind the characters. I never meant for those questions to be answered when I wrote it.

thanks SC! I actuall sat down list night, and in about ten minutes, i typed out about two pages of notes for my No place... story, and another one for my Ingen story. Im wondering if i should refer to Jurassic park stuff, or should use different names...

I think as long as you credit JP and the author, that would be fine. Besides, it might save you from having to do a lot of exposition, since many of your readers would be at least familiar with JP.

Back to upcoming fics. I have a sort of sequel for Popcorn ready. *Sound of crickets chriping* Well, Splinter goes on a trip, *dumdy dum dum dum* Not trusting the turtles after they last moment with out adult supervision, Splinter leaves April in charge. So poor old April has to keep the guys out of trouble and entertained. :evilgrin:

The only porblem I've got is thinking of a title. *Places back of hand on brow* Us artists have it so hard. :lol:

Eeek! BTW, for those of you who have read Moonlight, I need some opinions. There are so many ways I could do the next part...the main thing I'm wondering about is Raphael's reaction.

He obviously has designs on the girl. He's going to notice Mike's little "problem". Question is, will he look at it as a great opportunity to torment his brother? Or will he overreact and get mad at Mike?

Personally I could see him doing either. I'm leaning towards putting Mike through a certain amount of embarassment. If Raph gets all in his face and nasty, I think that would take away from the embarassment potential.

Opinions?

I'd personally like to see Mikey embarassed too. That way, Raph would get some pretty decent blackmail material depending on whether or not the others notice Mikey's 'problem' too. But then again... Raph could always try to use this to get back to the wolf-girl's good graces by getting mad at poor Mikey for treating her that way.

Ooo... Now I saw them too!

I like the rough pencil texture style all of the sketches... but (since I like to critique stuff) I think Splinter looks too much like a wolf in these. Ears are too pointed and the snout a bit long. The hands on Sp and the Turtles in noplace 4 and 5 need a little more work too.

It may sound crazy, but after studying/practicing the way Eastman, Laird, AC Farley, and Lawson drew the guys hands/feet in the comics, I hardly had trouble drawing them again. (Think geometrically!)

However, I just loved the "A Brother's Worry" sketch. The expression on his face and the concern evident in his eyes is too precious. :smile:

I am not that great in rodentian anatomy, i can certainly tell you. fI always end up drawing Splinter like that.

Im hoping that Mike looks precious and innocent, cuz he's kinda watching over his big brother without the others knowing...

Guess what! My little snert of a brother has deleted Bundle of Trouble off his computer! Luckly the folder has been transfered to my computer, but because I don't have Word, I cannot access it. Hey, EVERYONE gets typos in their stuff. Even after they Proofread. Sometimes typos can make something interesting, like one of my first posts here. I had wanted "i'll kick your arse' but i accidentally typed "i'll kock your arse'. Certainly gets their attention! :goofygri:

I mean, if I'm not getting my verb tense mixed up, then I have these silly typos where I think one word and type another (and of course, the spell/grammar checker doesn't catch those). Then I'm a horrible typist to top that off... gah!

Personally, I think Mike, Splinter, and the wolf-girl all deserve a little sympathy. Mike because of his embarrassment and the ribbing he's gonna get from his brothers, the girl because of her embarrassment and that she has to deal with four teenaged guys, and Splinter for having to deal with all of it.

As for suggestions, a simple "What's up?" from Raph as soon as Mike gets out of the shower.

About chapters....I've always had at least one major event occur in each of my chapters before ending it. That's just my two cents :smile:

Yeah. I go into a chapter writing around a specific event. I may do two to three scenes, depending on what I want to get across. Most of the time my stories take place in more than one place, with several events happening in the same amount of time. That can get confusing.

LOL! I know what you mean, Nun! Sometimes inspiration hits you like a train. I've been getting a lot of ideas for fics lately (TMNT and non-TMNT), but I don't know how I'm going to get to all of them.

I agree that describing changes in scenes is kinda awkward. So far, everything in my fic takes place in one location in each chapter. But that has to change for some of the upcoming stuff...

Ahhh...okay. I thought of that possibility too. I just leaned towards maybe you were going the "dumb" angle with him. Personally I've always figured that he must have a rather good vocabulary, given that he's a writer.

I have never thought of Michaelangelo as 'dumb' and I can't understand why some people do. Just because someone acts the fool doesn't mean they are one banana shy of a bunch. From what I know about hyperactive and immature people, they tend to be very intelligent.

He is no more dumb than Raphael is a heartless, uncaring psyco.

Yeah.. it was the cartoon and the TNM that sort of dumped on Mike's intelligence factor. However, it does take smarts to be as creative and charismatic as he is. :wink:

Descriptions, character interactions and humor was great!

In moonlight, I loved Raph's little wordplay, and I felt so bad for poor embarassed Mikey!

In Azure's story, I loved that breakfast scene as well. I was actually waiting for something about mangoes to come up, that's how nutty I am! Poor Splinter! I cant believe Azure thought he wanted to eat him!!! :eek:

I also think Azure REALLY needs to work on making first impressions. But I imagine that Splinter gets that a lot, so he'll be his usual patient self, although it won't help Azure's standing with Raph any.
