No More Spam

I installed a spam-prevention hack to hopefully stop people like SPEEd and lol from spamming (or at least slow the spam down). If it causes any problems for anyone (besides the spammers :smile:), let me know.

Sorry, what is considered to be spam? Maybe I am too inattentive :oops:, but I haven't found anything about spamming and getting warnings either among the FAQ or in the Forum Rules. Please tell me more about the rules.

Spam can be any number of things, but it's almost always disruptive. Examples we've seen here are posting a single word/sentence over and over, we're talking like hundreds of times in a single thread. Also blank posts, especially if they're very large. Off topic advertising, or just general off-topic posts, can also be included.

the spamming with speed was ridiculous. he spammed this here forum a bunch of times. I was ready to kill him, but i didnt want to clean up the mess left over from it...

And I was thiking if there was an easier way for mod to delet massive amounts of Spam. But this Spam hack sounds like that'll solve the problem or excess posts to clean up. (I hadn't experienced any weirdness yet)
