I have the first 6 volumes of the orginal toon and Im not sure where the next in order picks up.

Like I said I have Vol. 1-6 (6 being the one with the Holographic Raph cover). So what is the next one?

I see Season 4 is the same Raph cover but like a pop-out mold instead of the hologram. Is that the next one I need? Followed by the Pizza box cover and Comic book cover?

EDIT: Oops, I meant 5 is the one with the hologram cover.

Volumes 1-6 are seasons 1-3, so next you'd get season 4 and keep on going from there.

Oh ok thanks. :) Wasnt sure how far the volumes went or if they over-lapped. Also I see theres some dvds that say Leo's Slice, Don's Slice ect...are those just random episodes or like Best ofs? I can skip those right?

Those are season 7 split into 4 parts. You can just go ahead and get the complete season 7. Although, if you wanted the 4 parts (they all come with a toy), I could make a good deal on 'em for you.

Each Season 7 Slice has a classic-style minimutant from Playmates, and the slipcovers/covers line up to form a panoramic rooftop scene. But, after release, fans grumbled about them enough that Lionsgate decided to repackage them in a 4-disc set.

I wish someone would get Lionsgate to release Season 9 and 10.

I am getting worried.

Oh I see. Hmmm, mini figures sound pretty cool although I do have all my usual tmnt figs so maybe the season 7 box would be better for me. That and 4 seprate boxes would take up more space.

I am quite glad that I found both seasons recorded on old VHS tapes.

Hmm...

Ever thought about going digital with those?:twink:

Has there been any word at all that they're even releasing them? There has been a year gap before between seasons so I won't give up hope just yet until September rolls around but we should still be hearing something soon....? :(

Most of them already are. But it's been made very clear to me that I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't when it comes to this stuff. Not to mention that it's against the rules.

Yeah, I hear you on that one. Point taken.

I thought they would announce Season 9 by now too.

The silence is really strange. These DVDs aren't that expensive to produce given how bare-bones most of them are, and we're almost done.

Wait so the original toon ends after season 10? I don't remember how many seasons the old cartoon had.

It's possible that they might be waiting until 2012 when interest in the TMNT will be higher due to the new show and movie. I hope they are released sooner than that, though.

Yes, it had 10 seasons.

Can I still buy the separate slices with the figures online?

Yes, you can. I have all four of them sealed/brand new that I'd be willing to sell for $30 shipped (within the US).

Since they can't be found in retail for less than $10ish a piece, Rose is giving you a good deal here. I think you should take it (unless you want to take your chances with online flea markets like eBay or Amazon Marketplace).

What can we do to find out if Lionsgate is continuing the DVD releases?

I can't stand the waiting. I just can't stand it. We also didn't get, "Once upon a time machine," and "Planet of the Turtleoids."

What is going on?

Pray. Isn't that their main office line anyhow?

It looks like it now takes one year between the releases, see

It looks like it now takes one year between the releases to get their heads out of their asses to put out a set with 'full frame and 2.0 audio' as SPECIAL FEATURES

Fixed that for you

I don't get it.

He means they're waiting one year to release unaltered/unenhanced videos with no special features included. Doesn't take much to manufacture/release that.
