Alright, I know I've been lazy and put aside a buttload of projects I've been working on, I kinda got inspired to do an entry for the monthly art contest on www.theallspark.com. The point is to make some sort of TF spoof. So being both a Transformers/TMNT fan, why not make something that involved the two? So then it hit me... the Party Wagon and Ironhide crossover, except... Ironhide was a little too plain. So after starting off as a sketch of crap, here is my entry...

And you thought Optimus being rebuilt into a HISS was bad? (GI Joe vs Transformers)... Donatello sure got a monster of a project. Optimus Prime rebuilt as the Party Wagon!

Got some advice in differentiating the background with the foreground image... hopefully this one is better?

lol :D that's great, i like it...tho poor donnie probably had to spend a lot of time painting and rebuilding optimus, he's huge :P
I'm also a tmnt/tf fan, but im not much into tf anymore.

y'know, they actually had a mutating party wagon. check it on the official site, i'm not sure which year it came out though.

out of curiosity, why does your raphael have the different bandana?

BTW there was a transformer wagon, i think it was splinter that turned into the wagon :lol:

Looks to me like Leo also wears the full head headband. Just Don and Mike with the original Cartoon color.

Yeah, it kinda reminds me of the next mutation :P but they used em in some archie comics aswell.

there were two transformin' vans, one was splinter, the other was a full saize van that held onme figure and transformed into a big robot

Actually it's only Raphael with the full headband. If I actually did a real character study of my rendition of Raph, it's a little different the the three other boys. Particularly because I want him to stand out. If you guys look at the Rockstead picture I did, he also had the full headband in there too. It's not really like TNM style, but I dunno, it's just something a little different.

But yeah, I saw the transforming toy, and it looks absolutly horrendous. It turns into a giant Metal Head. I don't see what the point in that toy is... unless it's supposed to beat up the Megazord.

Thats not the oddest version of prime I've ver seen, but it is the second coolest (the first being Prime merged with the A-Team van, I call him T-Prime)

Optimus turted into a Turtle Van, instead of Ironhide, or Ratchet... clever concept!

I had once thought about making the FoxBox armored truck into a Transformer sort one time too. Except that it would have been an original creation... Also thought about taking certian TF's and making them look like the TMNT... *sai* So many ideas, so little time!

But hay, good luck on your "Fighting Green Machine" there, cooksux! :D

Man I can't decide which I like better... The first one is very stylized, but the second one you can see the details better... hmm Good job on both though.

Hrrmm.. I like the second one better, due to more visible details. Sometimes that Cut Edges filter gets to be too much at times.

I dunno I didn't want to just leave it all plain so I checked out some filters. Yeah it's a little uncontrollable which is hellish... but the end result isn't too bad. Oh well.
