With the WWE Royal Rumble just days away and bigger than ever at 40 men, I think we should take a look back at the first official winner of the event. It's none other than Hacksaw Jim Duggan!

Hacksaw is in Mattel's WWE Legends Wave 3 and is a patriotic American who made "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" a household word. All the while, kicking Iranian butt (or sometimes partaking in the cannabis with them) and taking names.

He's also one of the few men with the courage to rock a Championship he found in a trash can.

Check out the full review and find out more about Hacksaw Jim Duggan than you ever wanted. That is, if you got the guts, TOUGH GUY...

Gosh... I see that TNA are repeating that trash-can belt gimmick with Eric Young at the moment...

Hacksaw was awesome. He was my first WWF wrestling figure, even though it was the plump Hasbro version of the early 90's. This new toy looks decent.

Its a little sad that half the characters on the back of the card have passed on...

OMG, me too Hero!! I got him and Jake Roberts at the same time, but none the less still my first wrestling figure!

I almost picked up this figure yesterday, but I got the Elite Dolph Ziggler toy instead, since he went to my school and such.

Not had the proper chance to see the Mattel WWE figs in the plastic yet. Are they on the same quality and scale as the MOTU Classics, Ghostbusters and DCU?

Their scale is different... However they do have scale. In the sense that Rey Mysterio is smaller than John Cena, etc.

The quality is very good for the most part. In all honesty, Mattel is putting more attention into the WWE line than any of their other lines. With good reason, it's their biggest boys line money maker. So the quality is pretty top notch.

Of course, I mean, it's still Mattel. So it's only as good as they can be.

The Elite Randy Orton is hella tall! Compare him to the Elite HBK or Elite Miz he seems like the giant LOL

Yeah, the scale still isn't perfect. There are a variety of little issues throughout.

All the more reason Mattel should stop holding the MOTU line back as web exclusives and start putting them out in the shops for all to enjoy. Not everybody is a big fan of Mattycollector.com either.

I'm hoping Mattel make this move (and a UK release would be nice) when the new Thundercats toyline is released.

No need to worry, Mattel isn't doing the new Thundercats line, Bandai is. ;)

Oh, I know that :). I meant release Classics to muscle up against Thundercats :)
