In the back of issue 57 of the mirage comic there's a short comic-thing by chuck dillon about his trip to a New York Comic Con. One part of it says he met Ryan Brown: "is the creator of Cowboys of Moo Mesa among other Ninja Turtle characters." er... can someone explain this?

Woah...that's freaky how the Cowboys of Moo Mesa gets mentioned again, after it was talked about in another thread. I don't know much about the Cowboys of Moo Mesa, but I remember Kali and Machias having a lot of recollection about it. They'll probably fill you in.
Issue 57? *checks collection* No, I don't have that one, and I have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. I remember watching Moo Mesa, but I didn't bother with those behind the scenes details.

From http://www.gutwallow.com/bio.html :
....."I met my great friend Ryan Brown, who would later (with help from Dean Clarrain) get me the gig at Mirage Studios."...... "Ryan was kind enough to ask me to help him develop his "Wild West C.O.W.Boys of Moo Mesa" concept. This was great fun, and lead to a TV show that aired for two seasons on ABC and a toy line from Hasbro. Unfortunately, the C.O.W.Boys didn't set the world afire, and have now rode off into the sunset... but it was wicked fun working on it while it lasted!"
Well there's the connection, I guess.

Oh! Ninja Turtle characters! Heh heh, I guess that Saban business got me thinking on the wrong track. They were talking about other characters aside from the main ones. That makes sense. The guy worked at Mirage I suppose.
